Do you like him as someone you would want in your life in RL, as in someone you respect and admire - honestly - or do you just think he is entertaining and good for the show? I'm baffled as to his popularity. I admit I liked him a lot the first 2 weeks but his antics since then, well, I just can't have him anymore. :conf:

Both

I honestly do think I would get on well with him. Hes an entertaining HM at the same time.

He is someone I would likely get on well with in the BB house, he seems quite solitary and I am like that, if I don't get my own space in a day I can be very edgy.

I prefer chatting to people and learning about them, their life and experiences,I see no reason for foulf language generally and I hate backstabbing.Aaron is someone I would get on with probably both inside and out of the BB house.

I think he's a decent guy and he would likely earn my respect and admiration if I knew him.

I wouldn't get on with him at all. High maintenance, hissy fit, old lady men are not my thing. I do thing he's good value for the show though, obviously, as he gets us all talking/arguing.

Both for me too. I agree with a lot of his thoughts and I find him extremely funny. Sure he has his flaws and I think he would wind me up at times, as I'm sure I would do the same, but I feel that his strengths far weigh out his faults.

I like him because he is complicated. I'm tired of a simpleton winning BB.

Fair play to you that you could tolerate him. To me, life is too short to angst and fuss over so little.

I don't thnik he'd be like that though with people he related to,especially people who respected he needed his own space in a day. I can relate to him because a lot of people tell me that I am friendly and approachable but a bit of an enigma. I never really seem to let people right in to my feelings and thoughts.

I think Aaron is like that too,so that's why I think we would get on from mutual respect.

I think, ultimately, that nice, kind people win in the end. People with their hearts in the right place. Aaron is too self - absorbed and critical of all the other HM's, but doesn't see his own faults. He is interesting, in watching a train wreck kind of way. But do you all really think he can win, and why? :conf:

I don't get why someone who needs so much space and is so intolerant of others would want to go on BB in the first place, if they were genuinely like that. How much is an act because he realized that the fans were liking his antics and how much is real?

Same way the majority are? :idc:

You have to act in the auditions to stand out from the crowds IMO. Never noticed how the VTS are very rarely accurate?

Both.

There's a lot about him I respect and like as a person, and you'd never see that moody side of him outside the house.

As a housemate he is great, but he'd drive me insane if I was living there with them.

As for outside the house I don't know because I don't think we know who the real Aaron is

Out of the constraints of the BB house I'm quite sure he's just an average guy that can get along with pretty much anyone. The current state of our society in general is appalling in my opinion. Unfortunately we live in a time where stupidity, vulgarity, and general lack of compassion is rewarded on a daily basis. So even though it's just a game, a lot of us want the good guy to win over some vile idiot just so we know there's some hope left for society lol

I'm over 30 and I favor him for a number of reasons but mostly because I agree with a lot of his views and can relate to him more than any other HM. I think in general, the majority of the public closer to his age and maturity level will show him continued support (hopefully). Remember they're playing a game to win 100,000. It looks like he's in it to win it and people always seem to begrudge him for actually playing the game instead of being a floater like the majority of the house.

Sorry..I'm bored..and I'm really enjoying the forums :-)

I think as we hear from loads of ex housamtes past and present, the being on BB is an experience they really wanted and relished. However loads of them also say you are never prepared for how things really in the BB house.

To suddenly be with people you don't know, have to mix with them, eat with them, compete with them sleep with them and be with them for 24 hours a day,for months in a confined house,( most people don't do that with anyone let alone a group of people) must be very hard to do, it's maybe something you don't think about when you apply to go in then once in it hits you.

Even harder if there are people you not only don't care for but that you come to really dislike.

I forget the ones who have said it but I have heard many times from those in BB series past the words, nothing prepares you for life in the BB house.

I would love to have someone like Aaron as a friend; he is sensitive, kind, intelligent, principled, witty, and honest. I like that he doesn't put on a front to people - he doesn't hypocritically suck up to others to gain personal advantage, and he doesn't suffer fools gladly. I tend to support people with whose values I can identify, and Aaron strikes me as the sort of person repulsed by gratuitous gross, obscene and offensive behaviour. He removes himself from confrontations and from people he dislikes because life is way too short to waste time on them.

He is also a loyal peson who did not nominate the fickle Faye, though she didn't afford him the same loyalty. He also attempted to give her the best possible chance of survival last week by getting five people up for eviction, INCLUDING himself who he had already worked out was not one of the two originally nominated.

He doesn't find the "antics" of people like Jay and Anton funny or entertaining and neither do I. I despise airheads and spiteful, malicious people. BUT, each to their own. There would scarcely be any point in watching BB at all if every HM was identical in character, personality, intellect etc.

Yes, he can be moody at times, but his good qualities far, far outweigh any negative ones, and being a loyal sort of person myself I tend to stick by those I choose to support and not turn my back on them if they are not perfect.

Aaron has a good heart and that is all that matters,he is comforting TOM,who is one of the sneakiest backstabbers in there and has bitched a lot about Aaron we all have imperfections, but as long as we have a good heart we are good humans beings.Aaron is a fine person and it would be a priviledge to be friends with a person like him,he may sulk ,for which he is made to sound like the devil incarnate on here, but at least he does not go round threatening people and treating women like meat.

I agree. He strikes me as an extremely loyal person and whilst I don't know anything about the specifics of the break up of his marriage it is very telling that his wife doesn't have a bad word to say about him.

Aaron would scare the living sh*t out of me IRL, but there is no doubt he's an amazing housemate, original, shrewd, idisyncratic nothing quite like we have seen before. All the others are facsimilie's of previous successful HMs eg Anton = Nasty Nick, Victor BB5, Jay = Charlie 'Nana' Drummond BB10, Alex = Bonneh BB7, Leslie BB6, Helen BB2, Louise = winners Sophie Reade and Rachel Rice. Faye does channel elements of Kate Lawler. Tom = practically every shreiky gay guy the house has had (apart from Michael BB7). Aaron also understands tacitly that it's a vote to save, so you can get away with more bad behaviour!

I agree and this is where, I think, the problems with him and Faye start...she just doesn't get him at all..she doesn't get his humour..she doesn't try to understand his views or opinions...she takes everything he says so literally and if it doesn't concur with what she thinks, she tries to turn it around that he's making a mountain out of a molehill and tries to make him look stupid. I think there may be a physical attraction there, although he did say he was attracted to Louise at first sight..then there was Maisy....lol, so even Faye came third on that list. But as far as a relationship on the outside is concerned, where they would have to find common ground, interests, viewpoints etc....I think they'll struggle

1. None of us are living with him so I dont get why that would be any reason to hate him.

2. I do like him as his entertaining plus he isnt that bad really as his just playing a game in a gameshow.

3. When theres housemates that **** in freezers,Aaron doesnt seem that bad.
