I think it's more of a case of Louise trying to cover herself when her nomination of Fay was exposed, so she's asking faye to read her letter. why didn't she ask Alex, Jay, Anton or Harry all of whom she speaks to more than Faye. Lady is a half decent game-player.

Louise didn't exactly avert her eyes. Now she's butting into conversations just to speak to Aaron, getting involved in unnecessary convos with him, playfully putting yellow knitten hats on his head. She even let slip that she thought Aaron looked good with wet hair which Anton almost pounced upon. She blatantly prefers Aaron to Jay. that much is obvious.

Faye is the one who said she wanted to start spending more time with Louise.

Um, Louise has been very close with Alex, who happens to be besties with Tom, so Louise getting close to Tom is not unusual.

Louise was close with Faye/Aaron/harry in the beginning, but things change. Now, she is much closer with Alex/Tom/Jay now. Its the nature of the house/game.
