View Full Version : Aaron What a hypocrite he continues to be...

Seems that 'waste', as in destroying toilet rolls, only offends Aaron when it gives him the opportunity to climb his ivory tower of sulk over Frosties and condemn others for the camera.

https://apps.facebook.com/bigbrother-uk/

Not so disgusting and shameful when it's you doing the wasting, eh Aaron? Quite good fun it in fact it seems.

There was actually a thread on DS the other day that got like 200 replies or something...about him leaving the tap running while brushing his teeth, thus wasting water

I understand this may have been too subtle for you.

People say Aaron sulks (which he does) but why do these same people never say it about Jay?

Because Jay's sulks are commonly understood

i.e No Food

are there any others he's sulked over?

Arron's are bizzarre to say the least. ergo more criticisable

It seems like a complete troll thread to be honest, Aarons issue was that the house mates, many of whom complained they where 'starving' threw what was left of the food about, pretty stupid don't you think? If people are hungry they don't throw what food they have left about

Even though Aaron went way over the top with his sulking

Also it is hypocritical because he said it was childish and pathetic to waste frosties, but he wastes water, slop and toilet rolls, its just the principle of it.

Had he felt it had gone too far and then started to sulk about it after not being able to stop it?

Look im not saying Aaron was in the right in flakegate but come on,something that was chucked in the pool and is not making you starve at all,or food being chucked around and could potentially make you starve especially if Aaron was gonna eat some at the time aswell.

Tbh I dont get how Aaron is being a hypocrite here, although I do find that he was ridiculous in flakegate.

Thats pretty irrelevant tbh.

The point here is that if HE is involved in it then it's fine and fun, but if he isn't then it's all shameful waste and an excuse to cry in the DR and walk around the garden muttering for hours for the camera about his 'shame' and 'disgust'.

Such double standards.

And to those saying it's different then food... I had no idea that toilet paper was free these days.... Ofc it is no different then food. Waste is waste. It's all destroyed money that could have gone to a better place. It all has to be replaced.

What I suspect though is what IS different is that it's Aaron doing it.

Again, double standards.

And dont get me started on the "i dont like it when you burp" fiasco. Could not believe my ears when he said that, still cant.

But yeah, i have to agree with the OP on this one, i said the same about 2 weeks ago, one rule for Aaron and another for everyone else.

Regardless of whether it was "just" toilet roll or not, waste is waste, no two ways about it really.

Some times he seems genuinely nice, but for the most part hes just a clown with absolutely no comprehension for the real world.

You implied Aaron was wasting the toilet roll. I saw him throw a wet one in the air; I didn't see him wasting it because it was already in the pool. So to help me understand what you were implying Aaron was wasting I asked the question if he threw it in the pool.

100% agree. People can only defend defend defend when its Aaron. That is toilet paper that could have been used if they were short of it. Moaning about waste means everything that cost money and has its use.

Aaron did not have a hissy over the waste of food in the food fight, his point was that he had got it in the neck for failing the task from the same housemates who were now chucking food around...so who are the real hypocrites

Good point, I don't believe in wasting anything but to me there's a big difference between a toilet roll and food, especially a toilet roll that has been wet from being in the pool, therefore for the bin anyway.

(Everyone is hypocritical to some degree, however as jf pointed out, Jay moaned at having no food, wasted his money on cigs and drink from the small budget, then wasted food like the flakes. They get drink given them most nights anyway,so he didn't need to have drink that week from the budget).

On all of that, an already soaking wet toilet roll pales into insignificance when you look at the strop Jay went in over food.
A soaking wet toilet roll is virtually useless to anyone really.

vesavius
20-10-2011, 10:38 AM
Good point

No, it really isnt. Mainly because it's an incorrect reimagining of what actually happened.

I don't believe in wasting anything but to me there's a big difference between a toilet roll and food, especially a toilet roll that has been wet from being in the pool, therefore for the bin anyway.

No, wasted money is wasted money, end of.

Toilet roll isnt free and needs to be replaced. If you believe that wasted food could have gone to a better place then being thrown about, then so could have the money from the loo rolls.

And the point isnt about taking one from the pool, or whether he put it there or not, it is about his obvious hypocritical attitude during the whole event.

Everyone is hypocritical to some degree

Well, that rationalising can be used for any behaviour in the house can't it? It can be used to justify any negative aspect of a HM, as long as the person that says it supports that particular HM.

Except it can't. It's not a nice trait and not one to be admired, defended, or justified, and certainly not one I want to see in a winner.

(And please, this thread is about Aaron's holier then thou hypocritical condemnations of others, not Jay. I wish people would stop trying to deflect from Aaron by dragging him into it.)

No. It is about Aaron's hypocritical holier then thou condemnation of others (while showboating for the cameras) during the whole Frostie fight and how he happily joins in this one.

You implied Aaron was wasting the toilet roll.

I havent implied anything in this thread at all tbh. I have been very open about what my point is.

The Frosted Flakes thing was a waste of food & very disgusting - would you want to live in a house with food scattered all over the place?
As Kim Woodburn would say : "DIRTY PIGS!!"

The toilet paper thing is funny and everyone got in on the fight

Aaron's reaction has nothing to do with it, I actually found it really quite amusing the next day when he ignored all them and tom said "OH GET OVER IT?!"

He knows the reaction he would get, plus imagine if he had said : "Oh ok everyone it's fine the house looks a state... I'm 30 years old and living in a pig stye - what fun!" :nono:

That wouldn't be the Aaron the public have seen, he'd be changing his perception to us on the outside and people would be saying how fake it was to possibly win favour with the other HMs.

He dealt with it in a very good way. Better ignoring them all, going in a mood for a bit... then going ape-sh!t like Jay with the food... and battering the furniature.

That's why he is such a great HM, he reacts completely differently to anyone else and is very watchable with his witt and dry humour :spin:

I have only left the points you made that I feel likely need any response.

I can myself be hypocritical at times and I know most of my family and friends have been at times as well, my guess is unless someone is 100% perfect(is anyone?), then there will be times when likely everyone can be hypocritical.

Well, you say this thread is about Aaron's hypocrisy but it's hard to sideline one element of hypocrisy when commenting and also to then totally ignore others.

Indeed, you yourself in your opening post raised and re-opened the Frosties issue that Jay and the others were involved in as opposed to Aaron, so you ought not complain that when people are making a point as to one set of hypocritical behaviour from someone that they don't refer to any others that even 'you' compared the toilet roll incident to in your original opening post.

I also still stand by my comment that CherieB made a good point too.
