View Full Version : Brian's eviction announcements are TERRIBLE
Definitely one of the worst parts of Channel 5's BB. He has a monotone voice, he speaks way too slow, theres no suspense, theres no need to list every housemate and say whos safe, and most of all the housemates should not be told who has won/come second in each vote :bored:
Its just really forced and as though they need a catchphrase with all this "your time has come" rubbish. They need something shorter and snappier, that was just drawn out and the spin to camera with quick zoom at the end when he said "to be revealed later" was just cringey and like some weird parody show
I know its only a small thing but it really bugs me

He's terrible in general, not just for the eviction announcements.

he's probably a bit nervous he's stuttering his words quite a lot like when he said the thing about Northern Ireland

Agreed, i'm sorry but he is just absolutely awful.
Hope he gets replaced by Emma or Alice.

And I HATE how after he gives an opinion he always says "Do we agree?" and tries to get the crowd to cheer and agree with him. He does it every single eviction, it's cringeworthy.
And the way he ended Anton's interview so abruptly was terrible.

His announcements, what he says to the house and the length of the interview are all determined by the producers.

I miss "I'm coming too get you!"
I miss "I'm coming too get you!"
In the olden days you used to see Davina walking from the studio through the crowd whilst talking to the crowd, pointing to banners and stuff like that on the way through instead of seeing housemates say goodbye. I miss that, it was more of an event feeling

Davina's Evictions were amazing. I loved Evictions with Davina it was the best thing of the week. Brian is too predicable and boring

I don't mind Brian. Not the best presenter in the world but he's doing okay! I just don't like it when he starts to make things about him. The odd joke is okay but not going on about himself or referring to himself. Other than that.. he's not half bad. lol

I think the role suits a woman more to be fair.
And his over camp ness is very very crigney at times.

I like Brian and do think he is and will continue to get better as he goes on, Davina had lost interest towards the end and someone fresh was needed.
