Anton's reception from the crowd

Was actually pretty mixed. I was expecting loud boos (like he got every time Brian went to the house), but as soon as the crowd caught a glimpse of The Peoples Champion they couldn't help but cheer.

I thought Anton was more likeable in Brian's interview than in the house. After his initial womanizer speeches, I saw a glimpse of something good in him but that disappeared very quickly. I'm just baffled why would anyone choose a gameplan like he did.

have said some previously evicted housemates got louder Boos than Anton.

I think Anton got off very easily last night. I don't think Brian or Emma
gave him any tough questions. Niether of them commented on the
difference in behavour between the diary room and the rest of the house.
I don't think they made it clear to him why he was hated so much.

It seems as once the crowd decide they are going to boo a woman its loud and relentless. With a man it seems as if all is forgivven once they come out. Look at Aden last week. :rolleyes:

He already explained why. He was playing everyone in the house except for Jay, Louise and Aden. His game plan was not to fool the public, but the people in the house. Unlike what Aaron is doing. I don't know if Anton watches BB US, but he was playing a similar game that most BB US contestants play.

Well that was his first major miscalculation. This is England not America and historically our culture has always been to champion fair play and support the underdog. By cheating, lying and scheming against the other HMs, Anton did absolutely everything most of the viewers dislike- his so called game plan was to be real, and himself, so presumably the person he presented to us in the house, is the REAL him and unfortunately a hell of a lot of viewers didn't like what they saw.

As for Aaron, he actually is being totally himself - warts and all. He isn't afraid to show his feelings, good or bad, and he sticks up for his principles. He doesn't need to be part of someone's gang to big himself up or give him self esteem. He says to the viewers "this is me, like it or not" and he trusts the viewers to understand and be on his side - and guess what? A hell of a lot of us are.

I so agree,I couldn't believe this was the same BOTS who had plenty to say last time about Anton,must be cos his Mother was in audience,would have loved to hear what she thought of him swearing on her life,.....he got off too easy,the only one who spoke out was Glyn,and he got shot down,
