Looking at Alex and Tom, assuming Tom is gay as some seemed to indicate, does anyone see any parallels between them and Helen and Brian from BB2?

Not at all... Tom hasn't done anything worthy of a place in the house and doesn't have any quotes to back up his time in the house.

Are you referring to a man and a woman who are not attracted to each other hitting it off? In that case, yes, they are like Helen and Brian. :D That is how friendships form though.

Might get his own show advising us lesser mortals on how to dress and look skinny on 2 quid a week - works for him doesn't it? :elephant:

Helen and Brain became friends when Brian had lost his other mates Narinder and Bubble. Really it was a case of them being the two youngsters left in the house. As I understand it Alex and Tom have been friends pretty much from the beginning.

Brian is completely different to Tom and, as others have said, 100% more entertaining all round.

Helen was much more endearing than Alex and of course had her romance with Paul.

Yeah I know they were. But Alex and Tom act and look younger than they used to be. It's like Alex and Tom are a few years behind them or something. lol

Hmmmm I'm not sure about that. I think Helen and Brian were more genuinely niaive than Alex and Tom.

And he doesnt seem boring to me, hes just not part of any storyline.
