I can see why he wanted to change the last name but we've had a few BB contestants before who have changed their name.

Heaven didn't get as much criticism for hers and Maisy I think had a name change, plus Sunshine had some stick about hers last year too.

I just think this is a pathetic excuse for some to slate housemates they don't like and Jay isn't exactly my favourite.

Well for a start Sunshine and Heaven told people that they weren't there real names i don't believe Jay has told anyone yet his real name is Justin Waggott probably because Louise might dump him

Not on it's own, no. But he has been accusing everyone else (apart from the puppies) of not being real, when he's the one hiding behind a false persona.

Just something else to contribute to his facade slipping piece by piece.

Way aye man.......along with his "I'm just a normal Geordie lad" .... who happened to appear on Katie Price's show that's being aired just now.

Talk about goddam coincedence (as well as complete denial) ..... funny how he either never mentioned his connection to KP (or...more likely, that BB edited out that little nugget!).

He use to be a rapper so he may of changed it for that. I dont like Jay but if the dude wants to change his name its ok.

Seriously, anybody growing up in this day and age with a last name call Waggott would want to change it. No offense.

Also Jay could just be a shortening of Jason and McKray clearly rhymes with Jay. Who knows that could even be his mother's maiden name or something.

Could be wrong but I thought it was Jay who shaved Aden's hair to give him a matching haircut after doing it to himself because Louise had made a mess of it

Oh..i can't remember them showing that. Seemed like one minute he had some kinda demented friar tuck cut, next he was evicted and on stage with a relatively normal, short shaved cut. I figured the BB SOS hairdressing team must have patched him up!!

Just googled and saw this (http://www.tellygossip.com/news/634/aden-goes-mad-at-his-new-hairdo-and-threatens-to-leave-the-big-brother-house) story, guess it was Louise who cut it then, swear I read a tweet saying that it was Jay who shaved it though

It's of no relevance now, but just makes me wonder if they did that to get Aden a bit of comical airtime, for the eviction show.

that pic of him lat night (shown above) god he looked like an inmate on death row !!! if he knew the cameras were on him im sure he should have shown a much better look...even if it was kind of sloppy 'im soooooo in love with her' look..that one was just manic !!!! Word of warning for Louise....dont turn ya back on him love....and dont put the lights off!! it was a very scary look.........

Because Waggot rhymes with a rather unfortunate slang term for homosexuals. Which could and almost definitely would be used against him. Might explain his overt propensity to be 'macho' :joker:

So what? It's hardly life or death stuff that he changed his name - (and the same could be said for the majority of threads about BB in general... ie: so what?).

It's an incredibly funny surname - imo - it amuses me.

It amuses me all the more because it rhymes with Maggot - I am accused of being too serious on this forum - so I'll revert to being childish - and say Waggot The Maggot makes me smile, especially as I see it as pretty apt for neanderthal man.
