luckily I watch recorded copies so i managed to skip 25 MIN of recapping?!?! was the editor sick today?

Yep!....it just shows that it must be a poor house this year when they cant scrape enough new stuff to fill the HLs show!

You'd think that, but i'm not so sure. I reckon it's more down to LAZY editior's, who can't be assed putting together a show out of fresh material! No wonder their ratings are up the CRAP!!!

As example, they completely bypassed the material of Jay, Tom, Louise and Jem bitching about Aaron for at least 4 mins.

There's more material online, than the 10 mins or so of HL show they could be bothered to piece together! LAZY FCKERS!!! :devil:

What a complete waste, ill be honest, im gunna watch it till the final, but i hope they dont do that again.

Though saying that, i missed the Paranormal Activity one...And they didnt recap on it, oh the irony

3/4 of the show was highlights. What a waste.

Terrible sat highlight show. They must want to destroy the ratings.

Even in the normal highlight shows they don't give as much footage as did CH4.

When you take out the beginning recap of the night before and the silly poor picture quality recaps of past incidents and the adverts for competitions for the show and normal adverts you are lucky to get 40 minutes footage from the one hour show. CH4 averaged 46 minutes BB air time per hour.

Its bad enough having no live feed but to wast time on half baked amature editing gimmicks is utterly incomprehensibly stupid. Heads need to roll from the CH5 team.....

I'm glad I didn't watch it live now, meant I was able to skip the first 20 minutes but even once they actually got onto stuff from friday morning it wasn't proper HL's and they were sort of trying to incorporate it into the stupid week recap

Yes, i'm from Oz...so also had the good fortune of skipping the first 25 mins...and then grappling to the 11min of actual new footage, like some desperado BB junkie!! :shocked:

Yes, it was a waste of highlights. I find it even hard to watch a recap of previous day, let alone a whole week. Especially this week which was so boring. But then again, I don't want to watch Faye havings strops, Jemma bashing Aaron and to hear Jay and Louise's kissing noises and their tedious conversations.

Yep me too, thank goodness for my freeview recorder, zap the repeated bits and the adverts, left with about 15 mins :dance:

just watched it back on channel fives website and had to skip through the first half of the program, maybe the production team have the day of on Sat

It wasn't a waste for them, because it fits perfectly with their minimum effort, Jay promotion farce of a show.

What a waste of time,thank goodness I was able to fast forward,someone head needs to roll,couldn't they come up with something better?has it been that bad this week they had to fill most of the show with recaps.

So glad you started a topic on this Josy. I actually timed last nights HL show. Twenty minutes exactly was spent on the recaps (stuff we have already seen). Twenty two minutes of the latest and the rest (Eighteen minutes) was the adverts. The worst HL show I have ever seen. It is no wonder the viewing figures on a Saturday night seem to plummet. We get to see clips on the BBBOTS that could easily have been shown on the HL show. A total disgrace and soooooooo disappointing.
