What is it with Jem?

All Jem does is try to put her sister down, along with her relationship. Sounds to me like she is jealous, I really wish she would walk, instead of using it to get at Faye. Get Jem out!

I don't think Jem is jealous of Faye at all. Faye seems to be the one with the attitude. I'd love to know what caused this rift between them in the first place. Could Jem have been jealous of Faye as she was a bit older and felt left out. Either way I think the problem is Faye.

That rivalry or not getting on is weird. Maybe a little rivalry as they were growing up but they are old enough now to let bygones be bygones and bury the hatchet, hopefully not into each others heads mind.

I kind of agree. I understand where Jem is coming from but she's making Faye miserable and sending her on the emotional mind ******* she went during the second or third week but without the crying.

There is jealousy, there will always be jealousy but jealousy comes in many different shapes and forms and it's not necessarily a bad thing. They've both said, their mother included, that they've had quite a rough history and Jem has said that Faye grew up more privileged then she did. There's also a lot of competition between the two and, especially when it comes to wrestling, I just think it's a classic case of younger sister looking up to older sister and trying to emulate her in an effort to become closer with her and forge a better relationship. Faye said from the beginning that her and Jem aren't close, but she wants to have that kind of sisterly relationship where they can speak with each other and depend on each other, be best friends of sorts and Jem has said she wasn't sure if Faye would embrace her or hit her, but she loves her and she appreciates the way Faye has stepped up to care for her in the house.

This Aaron situation is causing unnecessary drama that, when it boils down to it, probably isn't even about Aaron in the first place. Probably just bringing up old feelings about old things. It's ok for your sister to want to protect, especially given you past history but Faye is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She either has to take Jem's word or Aaron's word because at the moment, there's no other way she can determine what's true and what's false.

Jem is jealous and if my sister was on BB I would not enter the show. It's as if Jem can't bare Faye to be in the limelight. Jem does love Faye but doesn't really LIKE her.

She's bitter as Faye is prettier, nicer, younger and obviously the apple of their parents eye. Jem admitted that she had a poor upbringing whilst Faye had a more affluent/ spoilt childhood. Why mention this now, Jem's 28 so she's blatantly harbouring residual anger and resentment.

The glee which Jem had when she won the gym session which Faye wanted was telling. She deliberately set out to win that ONLY because Faye wanted it. Faye hasn't worked out for weeks and Jem knew she was desperate. If Faye had wanted 'lunch with Jay's mum, Jem would have wanted that. She then spitefully chose Jay and continued to put Fay down 'Oh, you aren't a proper wrestler' etc. The shower rows, sabotaging house of cards which Fay really wanted to win, whispering nonsense to Faye about Aaron, threatening to leave and basically spoiling Faye's time. Nasty woman.

I agree I've got an older sister who's very jealous too I'd absolutely hate it if she were to come on the show she's obsessed with stealing my thunder. Faye did look a bit unsure of whether she liked the idea as far as I could see

If it turned out that Jem was indeed Fayes mum that would explain why she is so protective of her and why they have such heated arguments because they both care about each other a lot more than if they were sisters.

But it;s unfair to project Faye's (unpleasant if somewhat similar) ex-boyfriends onto Aaron. Jem never gave Aaron a chance when she entered the house, hugging everyone except Aaron when she coolly shook his hand and said sarcastically 'I will shake your hand as you are a gentleman' and then acosting him whilst he was brushing his teeth and saying 'Don't try and impress me as I won't fall for all that. I am watching you.'

The fact is Fay and Jem's mum went out of their way to say 'hi' to Aaron in Faye's letter.

Well you really have to see her relationship as a bad thing to get why she is so vocal against it, not everyone see's it in those terms.

I think she eluded to Faye & Gems family members being concerned about it before Gem entered the house, and nothing she has seen since being in there has changed her mind. All's i see is a big sister looking out for her little sister.

Yeah the breasts are still a bit dodgy, but she looks awful all bulked up now. Wonder if she regrets but just carries it on because she's come so far with it and it gives her an "identity" kinda thing. Doubt she could pull off inferno now, looks too out of proportion

Watching those sisters is car crash tv. I just get the feeling that Jem resents Faye, and can only see the obvious discomfort and emotional blackmail that pours from Jem. Is it any wonder that if Faye and Aaron have words, the first thing out of Faye's mouth is "your scaring me Aaron" just in the same tone as she uses to Jem? Jem should leave Faye to get on with her relationship, and walk if she don't like watching it.
