Why has Jay's popularity dropped?

To quote BB10 Bea, Jay's popularity has dropped like a jar of sick.

About 3 weeks ago Jay was (joint with Aaron) favourite to win now he's being eclipsed by the likes of Harry and 2-week Jem (beat him in vote). He even got some boos in the crowd and fewer banners in audience. I suspect even Louise might beat him in a head to head now. Even harcore Jay fans are changing alliance to Alex and Harry and acting like they never supported him in the first place.

What's happened? It's not as if Jay's suddenly become vile recently, he's always been unpleasant. The freezer poo incident has been well known and his misogyny always apparent. Why is he increasingly disliked. Reading the comments on C5 webiste so many people are expressing the sentiment 'I used to like him, now i think he's a kn*b' etc.

I don't think his popularity has dropped, people have just realized he isn't as popular as most once thought.

People aren't going to bet on him to win when he has only came 3rd in the public vote when he has been up, so his odds are going to drop because of that (where as Harry topped it last week, and Faye came second and above Jay the other week).

He got cheered by a select few at the live show, they only have a couple of hundred at those live shows nowadays when it used to be a packed couple of thousand, even Faye beat him two weeks ago when I'm sure most Aaron fans would have stuck to making sure they saved him to make sure
