View Full Version : Should BB just have Jay and Louise types only next year

If BB only had Jay and Louise types next year then they wouldn't need to contrive situations to keep their preferred type of HM in the show as they'd always win. Why put HMs over 30, black, Southern, intelligent, middle class etc if they really don't want someone like that to win?

Just have an all Jay house next year.:joker:

It would shatter the illusion, that the common man triumphs. That's how these shows work. If there 11 Jay's in there at the start, everyone would realise that he's not actually a very nice person, but by contrasting him against different classes, then they can create a mythology around it.

But the common man woman always triumph. The closest they've ever got to a non-typical working class winner are Nadia BB5 (who is Portuguese and background in Maderia unknown) and Orkney man Cameron BB4 (it's hard to tell Scottish class and background but he seemed to come from a fairly middle class-ish background)

...so it rather looks like there will be a fanfare for the extremely common man then...

Channel 5 have got it pretty wrong as he will come out to a wall of disgust and loathing... and if he doesn't then is this our new base line/common denominator? Not sure if I like that really...
