I thought Faye's mum seemed quite vindictive, I also didn't like the twist, I don't think HM's should get to clearly hear outsider's opinions on how they are percieved, the whole game evolves around them living in their own little world, knowing or thinking they know what the outside think changes the whole concept

I loves Alex' relationship with Harry & Aaron, both are supremely intelligent yet although they tease Alex, you can tell they really enjoy spending time with her and I think both find her naivety quite refreshing, shes not weighed down with paranoia, they like that easy side shes got, also, I feel both feel protective of her

You are absolutely right MTVN, Alexsmum knows and appreciates the support for Alex on this forum. She also appreciates that not every member is an Alex fan and that there will be negative threads on Alex, which as a mum are difficult to read. The fact that she chooses to distance herself from this, for her own sanity lol, I think is a very wise choice....
Her nominations were very difficult and I know that they upset her as she likes all the housemates. The fact that she tried to nominate as she thought Alex may have nominated, as oppose to tactical nominations, in my opinion deserves huge respect......she is indeed a lovely lady

I think it's best to respect her decision to keep a healthy distance while BB is coming to an end and the competition hots up.....we all know how heated we can feel as fans......LOL, so imagine if it was your daughter........the fact that she hasn't attacked any member for their negative views is a credit to her and to Alex...and would also get her banned.....lol.
If she comes on the forum, she would not be able to overlook the negative threads...human nature...you don't want to look....but you just can't help it.
She is aware of and appreciates all the support Alex is getting...I respect her dignity and her calm....

I do read some threads on here now and again but I do stay in the background, as a few members have mentioned it is not easy reading negative posts about Alex. Yesterday was very, very difficult as I really do like all of the housemates.

There haven't been many negative posts about Alex, the ones that I have seen have come out of the woodwork in the last couple of weeks from fans of other housemates, trying to knock her popularity, but it won't work anyway. People like Alex for her genuine nature, and if I hadn't already been a fan, she would have won me over for the rowing task alone. Her funniest moment of the series was when she said to BB, "tell Mary Worth to **** off". Alex for top girl, Aaron for top guy - BB12! :)

She was great in the rowing task, I loved her determination. As for Alex telling Mary worth....well, all I can say Alex was truly terrified, I knew she would be before the paranormal thing even started...I hope Halloween is not too bad or we can expect more of the same I am afraid...
