View Full Version : Alex She was hilarious last night!

She has started to bring the much needed good humour back into BB this year amongst a lot of the tension in that house. Her task made me laugh the most; screaming at the man not to get the chocolate in her hair and at the end eating the marshmallow.

She was. Really starting to warm to her now that they show her doing things other than squealing and dancing :)

There's a fisty girl underneath the bubblegum image. The way she indicated to Harry "No it would never happen" over them being an item, was class.

Yeah, she's coming on nicely. I much prefer her with Harry than I do with Tom.
Odd how it took 5 housemates to leave before they started to focus more on Alex.

She has never been part of their forced 'narrative'... they have prefered to use her as spot mood lifter now and again.
This ofc has led people to say she hasn't 'done anything' in the past, but there ya go.
The good thing that has come out of it is that she has not peaked too early and people arn't pig sick of her from over exposure.

What I said weeks ago has come true. The more the numbers fall down the more airtime she will get and the more fans she will gain (she has even won me over).
This week was the last time to get her out, I reckon she has won now if she keeps getting a decent amount of air time.

I think she'll be the runner up.
A lot of people like her but her vote potential has not been tested so if she gets to the final without being put up for eviction (which is looking like a dead cert at the moment!) i really think her votes could fall short because a lot of the people who like her will assume she's won anyway so will only give her a couple of votes.
It's happened before with the Alex type housemates and i think it will probably happen with her.

Alex and Harry are hilarious. If they keep up the double act to the final they will be sitting pretty.Still not sure she can stop the Aaron juggernaught and I hope she doesnt as its time a proper game player won

She's definitely becoming the Sophie of this series. I'll be so happy if she wins.
Though, funny thing is, it will be our 3rd blonde female winner in a row if she does.

I really like her, there is something endearing about Alex - and like you, I love the fact that despite being worlds apart from Harry - they get on well and when she 'wants to'... she can run rings round him.
Him talking about his mate with the jeep with huge speakers/sound system installed and her gettign tore into him about THAT being chavvy etc - he didn't know what to say in reply and took it in good humour - because he knew she was right.
I think if anyone deliberately upset Alex in the house, he's got through them like a tonne of bricks.
It's great to see Alex and Harry together....Alex is a perfect example of why a book shouldn't be judged by it's cover....
Yes, good to see her more. BB has stopped the low profile edit on her and is now starting the process of lining her up to be this years uncontroversial winner.

She sweet...but too little too late for me.You cant sit quietly for 6 weeks then come into your own in the last two.... Not for me anyway...Harry or Aaron for me.

she was funny, she has to be careful with Harry though I think he's playing a game with her

Agreed, but she is the perfect winner for BB, nothing controversial surrounding her, expect to see more episodes raising her profile.

A game? in what way fruit cake?

well he has a girlfriend already, and he doesn't treat her as an equal. I could be wrong but it doesn't quite add up to me. He's very insensitive too I'm not sure just how nice he really is or perhaps he's got a game plan

Hmmm...food for thought...you think he's stringing her along in that she may have a 'crush' on him...romantically..hadn't really thought of that....I've always seen it as a friendship. I do agree, it came across a bit insensitive last night but I don't think it was intentional..I suppose they all have gameplans in some form or other..but we try to see their personality through that gameplan....of course we can be wrong too...we get to see so little...

I do think she likes him personally but could be wrong of course

It's starting to become relieve for me now everytime she comes on screen, for atleast 5 minutes we wont have to see Jem/Faye/Aaron arguing or Lou and Jay snogging.

I am a Harry fan but i also love Alex. Either one to win with the other being 2nd. As long as they are both in the final week we will see more fun and interaction which is what i want to watch and not showmances.

She's just a disty bore imo, apart from cry over her fake hair, play childish games with Tom and stab Anton in the back she's done absolutely nothing of any note in the house, but i guess that's entertainment to the biased big brother audience.

I've liked her since the start of the series... which is a shock because I remember branding her 'another deluded wannabe' when I knew for a fact she'd be in the series from her 'paragraph' she's adorable, I like her friendship with Harry as well... if Aaron/Faye don't win then I want her to.
Even if she is the 'same' type of winner that usually wins.
Although it may not be overtly obvious, Harry and Alex have one of the most solid friendhsips I have seen in the BB house. Whether this will continue in the outside world will remain to be seen; their own personal worlds are polar opposites. However, within the confines of the BB house there is definately a genuine bond. One in which they feel close enough to laugh together comfortably, and at each other. I agree that harry and Alex' frienship is far more dynamic than the one she shares with Tom

I agree..and I would doubt their worlds would ever have collided without BB
