View Full Version : Question for Aaron fans

This isn't to rile you up or piss you off but I have noticed that a large proportion of Aaron fans do nothing but look for flaws in every other housemate and C5 and never seem to admit that Aaron sometimes is at fault. He isn't perfect or right 100% of the time yet some of you seem to be so short-sited to this and carry on as if he is God. I just wondered why? I mean do you just choose not to acknowledge his bad parts?

I don't mind the Aaron fans who have genuine arguments for the flaws in the other housemates, but the ones who use vulgar and nasty language I don't bother reading what they say personally
The same could be said of any housemates. have you ever acknowledged any of Alex's faults, Turtle?
And I have read a few posts from Aaron fans stating some of his faults, he is not perfect and who would want him to be? For starters, quite a few Aaron fans have admitted he can act childish at times and does tend to sulk, even though that can be said of a few others in there. So I do think you are trying to maybe rile Aaron fans a little bit with this thread, but that's ok, I am not biting, just wanted to do this post then leave it at that.

i dont think hes perfect ny any means and if im honest i dont actually like any of them that much to win. I think that because hes older than the rest he probably sees things in a different light.....sort of ...been there done that when i was a kid....Dont think hes the right choice for Faye. shes too young and he needs someone more on his wavelength..if it works for them, good luck, if not....so be it......I like Aaron or Alex , just about

Personally I think it's just the nature of a forum - some members have money on a HM and will defend them to the end regardless and batter every other HM, others like a HM but acknowledge their flaws and some just come on for a bit of banter - it adds to the spice of life :)

All the housemates are flawed. Everyone is flawed. I like Aaron because he is intelligent & complicated. He is analytical & he is funny. He likes Faye but he wants to win the show.

Yes, actually I have. Like I said, it isn't aimed at all Aaron fans, but quite a few are so unshifting and blinkered in their opinion of him, for example the r/ship with Faye and the way they blame just her. They are both at fault.
Well, nobody's perfect, but I like both Aaron and Harry because I know if I were in that house, they are the only two I'd get on with, and I would find the others insufferable.
I don't actually see flaws in Aaron.. he is how he is, but I do feel sorry for him at the moment.

As someone who doesn't like relationships in the house anyway,I don't necessarily see things as to Aarons and Fayes' relationship as faults, it's more part of their make up from experiences of the past.
Faye needs things full on and to be re-assured constantly, he has a problem in that he is awkward in relationships possibly made worse due to being in the public glare.
Faye likewise has her problem that she is perhaps more demanding, it's not faults it's just the way they are.
Neither do I see moods as faults, or childishness, the people I am around all day whether they are in their teens or very much older go into moods all the time,I do too but I don't see that as faults.
I also accept near all housemates will play a game of sorts in the house to try to get to the final and/or win. That too I don't see as faults.
What I see as faults is bad manners, bad personal habits, habitual lying, spreading gossip that is not true about another and prejudice.
Those I will attack in housemates as faults but really with Aaron, he has moods, he can be childish,he can be immature at times and he can be dismissive and vague(especially as to this relationship with Faye, where he is clearly at a loss to know how to deal with it), but they are part of his make up they are not,( in my opinion anyway),necessarily faults as such.

A sensible Aaron fan.
I'm an Alex, Aaron and Harry fan...I see faults in all of them, but their good qualities exceed those faults....we're all flawed, otherwise we wouldn't be human..it's about liking people 'warts and all'

Aaron is far from perfect and he can annoy me at times by his mood swings and the ridiculous 'speaking ban' (although I did find that a little amusing to begin with.
I wish he would man up and talk straight to Faye. Sometimes he comes across weak because he sits with Faye and admits things are awkward where I think he needs to just come out and have that straight talk.
I understand why he ignores Jem, but I'm not sure of every conversation he's had with her. I have my reasons for disliking Jem and I would have hoped that Aaron would be straight with her by telling her exactly why he doesn't like her, instead of the usual 'I have nothing to say to Jem' comments.
He's still my favourite despite what I've mentioned and he's someone I believe I would connect the most with in there.

There's a couple of Jay fans on here too who could be said the same thing of, they post consistently of their support for him, as far as I can see they have never made a reasoned argument as to why they think he is so great, I don't believe anyone could make a case pro Jay anyway lol, he has been consistently vile since he stepped through the door, that's my personal opinion, and I believe one that is shared by many.
Aaron, yes he has faults, but on the whole he is a really decent, genuine person and it shows in his actions, words and interactions with others. No-one seeing his face when the friends and family noms were being made could doubt that he was really gutted and upset, even defeated almost. His facial expression was one of shock and disbelief that he was thought of that way as it goes against what he stands for. People don't dwell on any faults when someone is evidently a person who tries to be good and kind, and is so likeable, on the contrary, their faults, such as they are, are somewhat endearing as they make up the whole fallible human being.

..I think from his fans point of view it's very frustrating when he refuses to talk to people because we can see it as the reason why others say he's immature....but if I was in the house, I might be quite similar...I'm not confrontational and find it difficult to tell people they've done something that I've found upsetting, so I tend to go qiuet and work through stuff in my head...then I'm ok again because of course I've decided everything was my fault anyway...........not great viewing, I admit, but a coping mechanism....

No body is perfect... Aaron's 'faults' if thats what you want to call them are minor things like walking off and having silent spells. He is sensitive and has values but I respect him for the way he takes himself away from a situation and doesnt rise to things...others see this as a fault.
I find him a genuinly nice guy...and like Harry I would enjoy their company.
We all like different things in people... Jays a nice bloke but I wouldnt trust him as far as I could throw him...he is narrow minded and shallow...but I can understand and respect people that like him.

I don't think Aaron fans look for and point out other HMs faults anymore than fans of other HMs do. Maybe it seem like it because this forum seems to have more Aaron fans than other HMs?
As an Aaron fan I don't think he's perfect, far from it but who is?

I am quite happy to admit he has faults, infact have said so many times, but the fact that anti Aaron fans pull him up on every little thing makes it difficult to get things in perpective,an example being, some think he is out of order for simply sulking or getting annoyed, but imo that is something every human does and in that enviroment it must be hard to get some space,so yes he has faults, but none I dont think worthy of some of the nasty comments he gets on here.

Not true.
I actually preferred Mark in the beginning when they were both in there.
I always liked Heaven as a) she had a unique charisma b) was feisty and c) was actually the smartest woman in the house (not a big feat) and d) talked about things other than hair extensions, lipgloss and boobs
I also like Harry so no, you're theory is utter nonsense.

I only point out the flaws that are there, I do not invent them
