Exactly Faye's popularity was on the rise until Jem went in there and between her and Ma Palmer they have destroyed any chance that Faye had of winning - I hope they are both well pleased with themselves.

If she has done what she said she would do, she's done it by accident and not by some dark, grand plan. When it comes to being a bitch, Jem isn't even a good amateur. She's nasty and petulant, but that doesn't make a great game player and master manipulator; it makes a sad, envious, needy, discontented woman who's insanely jealous of her younger sister.
