Did Jem not have the courage to go head to head with Aaron and risk losing, which would have surely been a massive loss of face(no pun intended!!) And also not have the courage to face the public on eviction night?

Or were the reasons she gave for leaving honest ones?

She did not have the courage to face the crowd,but she has no problem putting her sister there,Faye even cried to her saying she was worried about being booed,Jem only had to stay a few more days for her sister not to be put in this position of being up for eviction,BB told her,a caring sister,I don't think....
