Of course Alex has a game plan and it's been a very successful one actually, since she has avoided being put up for eviction by her fellow HMs. Her role in the house has been as a little sister to everyone, who they all indulge and look out for. Tom, by attaching himself to her, has also avoided being nommed. These two, however popular they are in the house, have never been tested in a public vote, and I, for one, don't believe all the hype.

Having said that, it has been the case in recent years that the winner is of a type - inoffensive, bland, predictable, and Alex fits the generic description. She is the ideal BB winner for Channel 5, especially as she is not considered particularly glamorous or pretty,more the girl next door, like Josie last year.

Yes I do so far as the other HMs are concerned, because she has avoided being nominated in the first place, thereby guaranteeing her a place in the final. However Aaron's has been braver and therefore more entertaining, since he has not been afraid to show us himself, warts and all, which I think is a more honest way to play the game.

I feel the same about watching the Alex and Tom rubbish we are force fed, so fake and contrived. Still you've got to hand it to them, avoiding being nommed is sure fire way to sail under the radar to the final.

Yeah, it's a tough call and u could argue it either ways. Because in theory u could say Tom, Louis & Alex have played the better game's simply because they've avoided the possibility of being evicted.

But, we pretty much see it each year, where a couple HMs make the final without being nommed, but have no chance of winning because of a lack of public support.

I agree, i think Aaron's been braver, and of course i don't think Alex is anywhere near as dumb as she's playing. But, by the same token, i'm not sure she has much more capacity to step up her game, and be braver or more controversial (if she felt that was what she needed for more airtime). Aaron's older and wiser, and has more life experience. She's quite limited, and a bit out of her depth.

What exactly is it you'd like her to "do" though? I'd actually prefer it if she did less - less of the pretend tv shows with Tom, less making up stupid songs, less secret tasks, etc. and spend more time just sitting talking with the other housemates as that's when she's been most entertaining, especially when she's been with Aaron and Harry.

I am not an Alex fan, I only want Aaron to win, and if Alex or any of those left in there are playing the public, well it is a game after all, so can't blame her for trying to win it. As long as they are not too ruthless against the other housemates, or do disgusting, and so unfunny stuff in there, it doesn't bother me how they play the BB game.

I don't really care if Alex's is really that ignorant or dumb. It is just not interesting to me. If she is really this way it is a shame that my 9 year old niece has much more smarts than this 19 year old. If she is not really this way than I respect it as a game move although as a viewer it is not what I want to watch. That is not the kind of personality I'm drawn to.
