It has changed my whole opinion of her.
That is totaly out of character and it shocked the house.
I wonder if it will cost her the win

If anything alters the outcome, it will be because BB have made that decision..not because of Alex...what BB want...BB gets

I was stunned that it wasn't a joke,it did surprise me that she would do that,I did however chuckle at it although I would have never approved of the action.
In past times when most papers really covered BB,I could see this all over the front page, 'BB housemate shortchanged blind person for her own ends'.
This depends on who likes Alex and would vote for her, I think it will inevitably cost her some votes definately though.

Very interesting timing of this 'revelation'......haha.....and Faye will sleep with someone for money....and Jay spends £55000.00 on a car, while banging on about how his mum needs the money........oh dear

Understandable the speculation seeing the money there in front of them but hearing what they first say they will do with it and then what they will waste it on leaves a lot to be desired in some.
I think Tom spoke the most sense, (I don't think Aaron said what he'd do with it),but I think it was Tom who said it was pointless planning how you would spend money you haven't got, yet.

Wow, that was an awful thing to do, but it won't affect her popularity as she's
a) playing thick - what the GB loves
b) working class
Most people on twitter condemmning aaron blowing £600 on Rhydian winning X-Factor

Alex doesn't deserve to win, BB should take her out of the game ( they keep trying with Aaron) All she's done is act like a 5 year old. Did anyone see her on Snog, Marry Avoid when Jenny Frost from OK TV was the presenter ?

Completely changed my opinion of her, blind person or not short changing someone is stealing and vindictive. Very shocked at Alec and will not support her now. Anyone who laughs at it or excuses it obviously doesn't understand basic law!

Then BB have achieved their aim.
TBH, look at the clips... every one is aimed at presenting Alex as something nasty, and nothing is chosen or shown by accident.
I have denied that BB have an agenda in the past beyond making a decent narrative, but even I have to shout sabotage at the recent chnage in coverage of Alex
It's a shame they will destroy the rep of a 19 year old girl to clear the top spot for their chosen winner, but I guess that's BB.
Alex won't win now, that's a given. BB aren't going to let up on her until the end.

Well her odds to win have shortened (becoming more likely). ;)
I have never supported Alex, simply because i've felt she has never quite been an open book and consequently found her difficult to read. I have even found her to be a little creepy...again, because of something I can't explain nor put my finger upon. I am in no way suggesting that Ive felt there to be some underlying cause (like this incident which has now come to light) but i am relieved that I now don't have to retract any support that i did have for her, because this in itself can leave fans feeling very disappointed that they have wasted time and energy on someone. I cannot imagine any decent human being condoning or turning a blind eye to what she did. The other thing which I find unbelievable to be is why she even admitted it! For me, it only solidifies the fact that she isn't playing the part of some 'bimbo' as part of her game plan, like many have suggested. She is, without any shadow of a doubt now, plain and simply stoooopid to not even realise that her little addmission wouldn't act within her favour.
True colours at last, Alex

I thought it was shocking tbh, but Im more put off by her since hearing she had been on Marry, Snog, Avoid in all honesty
She is still my second fav to win though, as the rest (obv exc Aaron, the Producer) are just pretty Grim

Then that says more about you. Because someone is rude it doesn't give you the right to steal from them. Sometimes when you go into a shop the assistant doesn't always have manners either and it can rub you up the wrong way especially if they think they are behaving in an acceptable manner.

In fact, all those Aaron fans that were screaming that a vote for him was a vote against BB manipulation and edits should be up in arms about how this has been used and the blatant editorial shift to sabotage Alex and control the outcome of the show.

I'm sorry Kaz, I thought what I wrote was obvious.
I was saying that, as stated in the post, that a lot of Aaron fan were campaigning against the principle of heavy handed manipulation by BB. I guess, as you make it clear, that it's only objectionable when it's against your own fave and it's considered fine when it's against other HMs.
I was questioning the (again) obvious double standard.
Just skip it if you don't see what I am saying though, you kind of missed my point, but it dosen't matter :)

one of the nice things that's come out of this is Faye's new friendship with Alex, they were really close and both upset when Harry left
The funny thing is that after last nights episode both Alex & Jay have seen their odds to win shorten

I love how some people complained that people shouldn't judge Harry for his fox hunting as it had nothing to do with the house yet some of the same people are now slamming Alex for her actions. :bored:

And the same people who are seeing it now, denied it existed before it happened to their fave, and said everyone who saw the manipulation was just making it up. Seems this double standard works both ways
Also I dont see this as manipulation yet, as it was ONE bad thing they showed of her. if it becomes more frequent(like it was with Aaron before) then yes...they definitely have an agenda.

I actually covered this before Vicky.
I clearly said acknowledged before that I thought BB's only agenda was making a story, but with the current heavy handed approach they have taken I admitted the people that campaigned against it were right.
That isn't a double standard, that is admitting my mistake and changing my mind... We don't all entrench ourselves in the same stance forever no matter what we watch.
What I do ask though, which you choose to ignore, is that are those same people who it bothered so much previously now happy with it, or did it only bother them when it was about Aaron?
What was their idignation really about?
I ask because as viewers we should care about heavy handed manipulation of ANY HM if we want 'our' BB back.
Also I dont see this as manipulation yet, as it was ONE bad thing they showed of her. if it becomes more frequent(like it was with Aaron before) then yes...they definitely have an agenda.
Do you watch the clips? Honest question.

I would be just as pissed off whoever it was tbh. Plus this question is a bit daft asking me...as Alex(now that Harry has gone) is my second fave anyways :p
But say, someone I didnt like...if they were doing what they did to Aaron to Jay, then yes, i would still have a problem with it. its not BB, BB is reality TV, which is showing what REALLY happens, rather than chopped up parts of things to make things into something they are not.
Do you watch the clips? Honest question.
Not anymore, as it pissed me off too much that they told such a different story to the HLs. I found myself getting really annoyed over it.
Have they started laying into her on FB?

Then we need to, as fans of the 'real' BB to put aside whether it suits our fave HMs at any given time, stand against it.
I am as happy to admit they are manipulating Aaron, or Jay, or Alex now and tbh I am sick of it. It has been so extremely clumsy and heavy handed and really is why I won't watch next year with no LF.

How can alex be seen as sweet after that?
If jay had robbed a blind person i would see 20 threads saying he is pure evil.
But it is ok for alex because bb have edited her to be the winner.
The fact that alex has had terrorist training and energency landing training shows her whole scared like a child act is fake
