The way he tried to Pick Aaron up was not the actions of a Man vying for control or popularity, but showed he thinks of people before thinking of the money!

Also his advise to Faye was just what you'd expect from a genuine person

Have to agree although I do find him repulsive....as an individual lone wolfpack member, he seems keen to create harmony and it seems very genuine. After watching his attempts to find conversational points with Aaron, I would personally prefer him in the top 3 than someone such as Tom who relishes tension in anticipation of a good bitchfest. Even if she at this point is not strong enough to follow it, I think it was very rude of her to completely ignore it like she did. We've got 2 ears and only 1 mouth for a reason. It's not her fault Aaron treats her like crap, but it is her responsibility to not continue letting him.

As for Jay personally, I completely understand why so many find him revolting, but I can't help quite liking him despite everything. He's got some horrible traits, and some great.

Yep! the good thing about this time around was the power has completely shifted to Jay's side, the contrast between Jay's use of it and Aarons was pretty obvious. I found myself thinking back to the two of them with Aaron ignoring Jay, and just how easy would it be for Jay to score some points here, almost reckless not to if your playing games. Really good night for him.

Not being offensive, but he is a typical ill educated bloke. Hes not a bad person, hes crude, a bit vile, holds some offensive views but ultimately he wants to have a laugh and relax. Its funny how no one picked up on or gave a rats arse when Anton said Aaron picked on Jay saying some really nasty things to him making him upset in the early days. They were vile to Aaron as he thought he was better than they were.

Far to many assumptions there to really take that point on. i.e

1. Jay is pretending to be Aarons friend
2. This started at the time of the Crypt task
3. He never liked Aaron before
4. He's become his best mate since finding out he is popular.

I do remember the night Aden(or was it Anton) left, Aaron & Jay sat in the garden and Jay saying how popular Aaron was, and hopefully things can get back to having fun again now, and it did seem like brown nosing Aaron. Either because he wanted to curry favor with Aaron's fans or because he wanted the games to stop and to enjoy his time, i'm no crystal ball reader so i don't pretend to know but, is this why some are not buying Jay's sincerity?

I agree with this to a point. I don't think Aaron is treating her like crap but all the rest are true. I thought Jay's advice was great and so true. Unfortunately, Faye just didn't get it. She has a lot to learn.
