View Full Version : What did Tom & Faye mean about Aaron in tonights show
Aaron, Tom, Jay and Faye are all eating at the table and then Faye and Tom start speaking about people from Tom's work and he says something but i can't make out what he says and what Jay says.. but Aaron looks a bit pissed off at them?

Tom said something about "it's all about the theatre" I think, which Faye was nodding and agreeing with. Tom is vile, but Faye really is a nasty piece of work, sitting and openly bitching with the other HMs about Aaron, something he would never do about Faye. Neither has he ever nommed her, if anything he tried to give her a better chance of survival when she was up against Anton.
Faye is a total hypocrite banging on about HIS loyalty - where has hers EVER been for him?

i couldnt hear a thing he mumbled , but thats Tom to a tee...no balls to come straight out and say or confront aaron....Aaron knows that tom has an issue with him, he should just get it over and one with. Tom is a sly piece of work that was a total waste of time in there...dont like him !

I thought Tom was trying to wind Aaron up saying something about fit men for Faye at his work or something but could be wrong, even i have trouble understanding him sometimes and im a brummie lol .
I hate the way Tom does this, he is very brave when walking out of rooms or if the person has left the room, but never just pulls the person over it.
Aaron said to Jay that Tom had been aggressive to him the last 3 days, has any of this been shown on the show?

To be honest i don't think BB are going to show anything that shows Aaron in a good light. At the moment is seems to be showing how wonderful Jay and Louise are. I do wish though that if Tom had something to say he would say it to Aaron straight out and not to the others when he is not around.

I thought he said something like "they would like you round my area Faye, and then there was something like, they know what loyalty is" not quite sure but that is what it sounded like,he is lucky Aaron is the mild mannered type,I'de have punched his little lights out!and Faye, well what are people watching, she is never loyal to him,who would make someone feel uncomfortable like that if they had any feelings for them.:nono:

He did go to the diary room the other day and bitch about her and the shallowness of her wanting a Range Rover by the time she's 30, or whatever she said. Which i agree is shallow, btw. But when he was sat there, he didn't question her about it, which was odd. So, he's not a Saint!

Tom has a love/hate relationship with Aaron and will do anything to trip him up. Alex is desperately looking for a reason to get him out. Faye wants him to stay. There is a big difference imo

He was saying it in a calculating manner, but anyone with half a brain could figure out he was having a dig at her about her shallowness in the DR, as opposed to saying to her face.

Tom is aggressive, shallow, two faced, bitchy and sly and yet Alex chooses to overlook all that and never ever pulls him up about it which is something a good friend would do. I really don't think Alex is the sweet and innocent lovely girl that she tries to make out. She keeps quiet and sits on the fence a lot and never seems to defend Aaron even though she knows he is trying to look out for her interests. Im starting to think she is playing an even bigger game.

I totally AGREE she was shallow in what she said! it's not about confusing the truth with bitching. I was simply making the point that instead of him saying - geez Faye that's shallow, he went off and had a rant about her being shallow in the DR, to the audience.
I'm not meaning to offend you with the half a brain comment, it's just when someone is believing something that is so obviously false, sometimes you need to inject a bit of reality to get them out of tunnel vision mode.

Tom is a s*** and a ***t. It all probably stems from Aaron not wanting to get with him. And, no, Aaron did not "lead him on"...you can just imagine if Aaron had said to him outright that he wasn't interested that Tom (and probably all the HMs) would have berated him for being nasty.

Its obviously false to you ,not everyone, we all see things differently,it doesn't mean because we do not share the same views that we are less intelligent, imo I would rather Faye did her talking in the DR than to the other HMs I think it shows that she is not loyal to him,and I think Aaron choses to talk in the DR as he cannot get a decent convo from the Hms he's as much as said so.but no offence taken:xyxwave:

It's not about intelligence, there's a bunch of people with likely high IQ's who fiercely believe that the planet is inhabited by flesh eating reptiles disguised as humans, as a result of blindly following other people's bizarre thoughts or obscure theories.
I genuinely want Aaron to win, but i'm not going to support every action he says or does without question, as some choose to do. And if you can't see he was having dig at Faye's shallowness behind her back, to the audience, then so be it.

Where else is Aaron supposed to go to vent FGS, if not the DR? It's not up to him which DR visits are televised for "the audience". Or should he just go around slagging Faye off to the other HMs, the way she does him? Perhaps he doesn't do that because he does care about her and her feelings, unlike Faye who delights in playing the victim and fuelling other HMs' dislike of him. As for Faye being shallow - he speaks the absolute truth there. For a fully grown 23 year old woman she is extremely immature and self-obsessed.
I bet we don't see most of the venom the other HMs come out with in the DR about each other, only what it suits BB to air.

I dont think it was quite the same. He was merely chatting to BB about how 'different' their dreams are and what they want from life. He didnt say she was shallow or slate her, just that he wondered if they could have a long term future. Granted he should probably of said this to Faye later, but honestly I think thats half their problem, he hates confrontation and she kicks off about everything.
Sometimes she even asks him questions to which there isnt a right answer just to kick off at him, so he probably thought it best to not mention it to her. Where as what she does is openly bitch about him to Tom or anyone who will listen, insult him to his face in public (did this alot in the early days) and nominate him.
The two types of behaviour just dont compare. Basically for all his issues (he aint perfect) he behaves relatively maturely, where as Faye is like a 14 year old girl in a proper relationship for the first time.

It wasn't afterwards i was talking about. I was saying that he sat there and listened to all her tripe, didn't offer any input, then walked in the DR and effectively said she's shallow, and they don't have much in common.
I don't buy that defense that we hear every year, that housemate x doesn't say anything coz they're afraid of confrontation. Only a couple of days later he defied the group/pack mentality, and voted for who he wanted, and stood up for his principles. That's hardly behaviour of someone who avoids confrontation. It's great! i'm glad he did that, but it doesn't stack up with your reasoning.

Well they all talk about each other behind each other's back in the DR so I didn't think it necessary to include that as an example.
I was referring to the way Faye freely and vociferously constantly puts Aaron down to the other HMs, something Aaron does not do. That doesn't make him holier than thou, just a 100% more loyal than Faye is.

Not the same at all. And lets rewind, she is sitting there talking to Tom (?) I believe not including Aaron at all he wasnt involved. So imagine the reaction if he butted into that conversation and said 'hey Faye can we discuss how suitable we are to each other in a long term relationship, cause I want different things to you' (he never said shallow btw)
Imagine how that would have gone down with the level headed not temperamental Faye!! Like a lead balloon thats how. So he just walked to the DR to collect his thoughts on the subject and ended up chatting about that a bit to much and overanalyzing it (like Faye does ALL the time)
That is totally different to standing up for your principles, he doesnt really care what Jay, Tom and Louise think of him, or Alex really. He never has, how you behave in a relationship (no matter how dysfunctional) is not the same as how you behave with other people you dont care about.
There are plenty of blokes who would gladly have a punch up for fun on a friday night (for example) but cannot bear confrontation in their own relationships and just cant face up to solving issues. Sorry its not the same at all.

I think you're reading far too much into all this, and getting very defensive. I was simply making the case that Aaron has said stuff behind Faye's back in the DR, in response to Angus58 saying he would never do such a thing. I'll repeat again, i hope Aaron wins, but if i see comments where i believe people are making any HMs into something they're not ie. Saint like, i'll put in my 50 cents worth, regardless of who i support.
