I wanted to say something seeming as there seems to be a lot of hate being directed at my brother.

Obviously there are a lot of Aaron haters out there, you have your reasons. I think the majority of these people, if not all, are the ‘loyal’ supporters of the other HM’s and naturally yes they will be picking and scrutinizing every step he makes. This is now influencing what supporters he has and it really is a shame.

Please I would ask his own supporters to remain faithful! He is a good and decent guy! BB has been blatantly editing him in a bad light for quite a few weeks now, but please make up your own minds.

His relationship with Faye is genuine! Come on! You can’t believe he is faking that! The way he looks at her, talks to her, it’s Love with a capital L! Think of how that would feel going through those emotions in such a pressure pot as big brother. Why would you want to willingly inflict yourself into that sort of relationship? You can’t control the way you feel.

He’s not scheming, he’s not a backstabber, he’s not a lot of things people are claiming. He is my brother, he is being himself completely, honestly, so honestly in fact that a lot of people don’t like him or don’t ‘get’ him as such. It would be easy and a very good game plan to keep the public happy by maintaining a happy attitude, bouncing off the walls and talking cod, but my brother has bared his soul in this program and I am touched that people can relate to this.

I was shocked when Harry came out in the Daily Star saying that my brother was ‘fake’, ‘a gameplayer’ and ‘faking the relationship with Faye’. Absolute tripe of course. I’m sure he got paid a hefty sum to say those things. Even by his own admission now on Twitter he has stated that he loves Aaron and that you ‘shouldn’t believe what you read in the papers’.

Something that got me a while back is that how Channel 5, The Daily Star, OK magazine, OKTV (who are ya?) and New magazine are all owned by the same Northern and Shell company. With the attempt of the program trying to push my brothers character down and out this seems to me that they could be looking at getting someone who is more marketable to win to appear in their fleet of (****) publications.

I don’t think he believes he can win. When he messed with the HM’s plans to nom each other he is clever enough to know that this wouldn’t look good on the outside. Getting with Faye and all the arguments that come with it clearly isn’t the sort of ‘plan’ you would put together to win the competition, neither is being ‘moody’ and isolated.

A lot of people say that with the nominations he is game playing. He was just doing what he said he wanted to do previously, which was to nominate in his own way and he did this. What’s the Big problem?? Throughout the entire series they have all been nominating each other, screwing each other over. BB wouldn’t have allowed the rigged vote anyway, so he was following the rules of BB, which instead of BB thanking him for, they have slated him and made him out to be a bad person to the public.

I don’t understand why BBOTS and OKTV (who are ya?) seem to be siding up against my brother and even Brian has taken a personal dislike. What they fail to realise is that the public will vote for who they want to vote for, with my brother having a strong fan base and a band of LOYAL support (thank you x).

Will he win? I think he should. From what he’s been through and how he’s remained true I think he deserves it the most.

Hi David, nice to see you read the Forum and glad to see you answering Aaron's detractors. Doubt it will influence them however, they are buying the Channel 5 version sadly
For what it's worth, Aaron has a massive support amongst decent people who can see through what is going on. The way he has been treated by Channel 5 and its so called "presenters" has been digusting - but has earned him a whole new army of fans who admire and respect him for being his own person, standing up for what he believes in and having integrity.
If that was my brother in there, I'd be feeling the same way. There's a lot of love out there for him.

Hi I think most level headed people know Aaron is a sound guy, of course he knew it wouldn't look good on the outside re- the nominations this week, if he was a 'game player' as some are insinuating, he wouldn't have done that.

I admire him for what he did, yes Faye was hurt a bit ( I do like Faye) but that seems to be her personality, she takes everything to heart. I think he has showed a lot of patience in the house.

Just because some HMs didn't end up getting married or broke up after a while doesn't necessarily mean that the relationships were fake, plenty of people who meet normally stay together for a bit and break up too.

I never understand why people say relationships are fake as soon as they break up on the outside, even if its 6 months to a year after the show. The best comparison I can think of is like going on holiday and meeting someone, great whirlwind for the week or so but when back home, it just doesn't work. and then, as you say, its really rare to see people stay together forever anyway.

I’m sure he got paid a hefty sum to say those things. Even by his own admission now on Twitter he has stated that he loves Aaron and that you ‘shouldn’t believe what you read in the papers’.

Something that got me a while back is that how Channel 5, The Daily Star, OK magazine, OKTV (who are ya?) and New magazine are all owned by the same Northern and Shell company. With the attempt of the program trying to push my brothers character down and out this seems to me that they could be looking at getting someone who is more marketable to win to appear in their fleet of (****) publications.

I don’t think he believes he can win. When he messed with the HM’s plans to nom each other he is clever enough to know that this wouldn’t look good on the outside. Getting with Faye and all the arguments that come with it clearly isn’t the sort of ‘plan’ you would put together to win the competition, neither is being ‘moody’ and isolated.

A lot of people say that with the nominations he is game playing. He was just doing what he said he wanted to do previously, which was to nominate in his own way and he did this. What they fail to realise is that the public will vote for who they want to vote for, with my brother having a strong fan base and a band of LOYAL support (thank you x).

Hi David, Just wanted to say that I agree with alot of the stuff you have said, The H/Ls of the main BB show are ridiculously bias. I'm sure that if they showed half of the clips that have been put on FB, as is, the Aaron hate wouldn't be as much. If you go by FB and twitter you would fing that Aaron and Fayes arguements don't last as long as BB would like you to believe. Mind you the do go on a bit and they do have fall outs but so do most couples that are a couple of months into the relationship, Being with someone 24/7 when starting a relationship gives the impression of being with someone longer as apposed to seeing them one or twice a week.
I wouldn't worry to much about people like Brian Dowling, Jamie East and Alice (whats her name) and the tabloid programmes and papers as people can make up their own mind and don't need to listen to these people to make a decision (I may have a little too much faith in people). I think that most can see that Aaron is a nice guy that does have some faults but hey don't we all. I think its that fact that he does show fault that makes me vote for him, that and admiration cause I think I would have been checked into a padded cell after a week in that house with some of them.

I have supported Aaron from the beginning and will continue to do so. If his fans have anything to do with it, then he WILL win. BBBOTS seems to be a 'hate Aaron cult' going, they never have any of his fans in the audience or on the panel. The presenters should surely be impartial to make negative comments about any HM's, but they seem to bag on Aaron at any and every opportunity. They are making Jay sound like a God and his relationship the New Charles and Dianna - we all know how that turned out. Its clear to me and many others that Louise is with Jay just for votes.

There has been some awfull hatred spread around but his fans take this with a pinch of salt...it takes a very small mind to be so easily influenced by media hype.

Aaron genuinly seems like an amazing guy who Faye would be lucky to have...unfortunately it seems she may be playing him though :(

It is absolutely ridiculous what the media is getting away with...At best it's a complete farse and at worst it is sheer ridicule and utter bullying behaviour!

I can see where Aaron gets his lovely personality from :)) The other HM can be read like a book, a cheap book with pictures...whereas our boy is more like a novel with hidden depths and new, exciting chapters. I can well understand you wanting to come on here in support of your brother...I would do the same.
Its frustrating to read some of the things against Aaron,,,,but then we can all interpret things how we see fit.
We all see Aaronn as the decent person he is and if he has 'gone off' Faye then its hardly surprising seeing the family that'supports' her.Personally I think they are well suited and that their feelings are genuine.

Ive read through the 7 pages of this thread, and it never ceases to amaze me why people will post with no regard to what has been written previously, someone raised the issue of whether or not the OP is actually Aarons brother, and I must admit I did have my doubts on first reading, BUT then SEVERAL members of TIBB staff have CONFIRMED that it has been checked out, and they are happy that the OP is David, but the posts still continue?

We then have the people who ask why has he not come back on to post again, perhaps because he has said his piece and doesnt particularly want to get in to a slanging match with some posters on here whose only reason to post is create a slanging match. I believe he has said what he wanted to say, said his thank yous, remained dignified, (a word that some of you might want to look up in the dictionary) and there is no onus on him to reply to anyone.

Great post Aaron's brother. I think he has been the most interesting, well mannered and respectful housemate I've ever seen in BB. I'm sure your family are all really proud of him and what a credit he is to your parents. I think the majority of these people, if not all, are the ‘loyal’ supporters of the other HM’s and naturally yes they will be picking and scrutinizing every step he makes. I was shocked when Harry came out in the Daily Star saying that my brother was ‘fake’, ‘a gameplayer’ and ‘faking the relationship with Faye’. Absolute tripe of course. I’m sure he got paid a hefty sum to say those things. Even by his own admission now on Twitter he has stated that he loves Aaron and that you ‘shouldn’t believe what you read in the papers’.

Something that got me a while back is that how Channel 5, The Daily Star, OK magazine, OKTV (who are ya?) and New magazine are all owned by the same Northern and Shell company. With the attempt of the program trying to push my brothers character down and out this seems to me that they could be looking at getting someone who is more marketable to win to appear in their fleet of (****) publications.

I don’t think he believes he can win. When he messed with the HM’s plans to nom each other he is clever enough to know that this wouldn’t look good on the outside. Getting with Faye and all the arguments that come with it clearly isn’t the sort of ‘plan’ you would put together to win the competition, neither is being ‘moody’ and isolated.

A lot of people say that with the nominations he is game playing. He was just doing what he said he wanted to do previously, which was to nominate in his own way and he did this. What’s the Big problem?? Throughout the entire series they have all been nominating each other, screwing each other over. BB wouldn’t have allowed the rigged vote anyway, so he was following the rules of BB, which instead of BB thanking him for, they have slated him and made him out to be a bad person to the public.

I don’t understand why BBOTS and OKTV (who are ya?) seem to be siding up against my brother and even Brian has taken a personal dislike. What they fail to realise is that the public will vote for who they want to vote for, with my brother having a strong fan base and a band of LOYAL support (thank you x).

Will he win? I think he should. From what he’s been through and how he’s remained true I think he deserves it the most.

ok! regardless of who you like or dislike,this years big brother has been predictable,its been based on a club reps/holiday romances,type set up! the production team have bent over backwards to make this series fun!,they have given the housemates nearly everything they have asked for!,food,drink parties,letters from home,phone calls,the housemates have not been punished for breaking the rules and bb have played with the nominations,iv been waiting for a task from bb that the winner gets to go home for the week end!,lol,so many people comeing into the house! its a joke,we are a long way from where bb started

Yeah of course I agree with that, and it would happen no matter what HM was involved, I really wish it didn't (even if I dislike the particular HM concerned) because I'd love it if we had more ex HMs or their family members join and chat with us to give us a bit of insight and their thoughts on BB stuff.

And just regarding your last point some of the worst comments have been deleted in this thread already.

Aaron's a big boy and as a fan of big brother will know full well forums are for fans but also for people to air their views if they don't like what they see. Also he will know that the program will be edited and newspapers will print stories whether they are true or not.

If he can't hack it or had any concern for his family being upset then he shouldn't have gone in the house in the first place. As for Harry being paid a hefty sum to say things about Aaron - Don't you think Aaron will be offered (and accept) a hefty to sum to tell all about his supposed "relationship" with Faye ?

For me, Aaron has been the best housemate to go into the house since BB6, he just cracks me up.

Obviously there are a lot of Aaron haters out there, you have your reasons. I think the majority of these people, if not all, are the ‘loyal’ supporters of the other HM’s and naturally yes they will be picking and scrutinizing every step he makes. This is now influencing what supporters he has and it really is a shame.

Please I would ask his own supporters to remain faithful! He is a good and decent guy! BB has been blatantly editing him in a bad light for quite a few weeks now, but please make up your own minds.

His relationship with Faye is genuine! Come on! You can’t believe he is faking that! The way he looks at her, talks to her, it’s Love with a capital L! Think of how that would feel going through those emotions in such a pressure pot as big brother. Why would you want to willingly inflict yourself into that sort of relationship? You can’t control the way you feel.

He’s not scheming, he’s not a backstabber, he’s not a lot of things people are claiming. He is my brother, he is being himself completely, honestly, so honestly in fact that a lot of people don’t like him or don’t ‘get’ him as such. It would be easy and a very good game plan to keep the public happy by maintaining a happy attitude, bouncing off the walls and talking cod, but my brother has bared his soul in this program and I am touched that people can relate to this.

I was shocked when Harry came out in the Daily Star saying that my brother was ‘fake’, ‘a gameplayer’ and ‘faking the relationship with Faye’. Absolute tripe of course. I’m sure he got paid a hefty sum to say those things. Even by his own admission now on Twitter he has stated that he loves Aaron and that you ‘shouldn’t believe what you read in the papers’.

Something that got me a while back is that how Channel 5, The Daily Star, OK magazine, OKTV (who are ya?) and New magazine are all owned by the same Northern and Shell company. With the attempt of the program trying to push my brothers character down and out this seems to me that they could be looking at getting someone who is more marketable to win to appear in their fleet of (****) publications.

I don’t think he believes he can win. When he messed with the HM’s plans to nom each other he is clever enough to know that this wouldn’t look good on the outside. Getting with Faye and all the arguments that come with it clearly isn’t the sort of ‘plan’ you would put together to win the competition, neither is being ‘moody’ and isolated.

A lot of people say that with the nominations he is game playing. He was just doing what he said he wanted to do previously, which was to nominate in his own way and he did this. What’s the Big problem?? Throughout the entire series they have all been nominating each other, screwing each other over. BB wouldn’t have allowed the rigged vote anyway, so he was following the rules of BB, which instead of BB thanking him for, they have slated him and made him out to be a bad person to the public.

I don’t understand why BBOTS and OKTV (who are ya?) seem to be siding up against my brother and even Brian has taken a personal dislike. What they fail to realise is that the public will vote for who they want to vote for, with my brother having a strong fan base and a band of LOYAL support (thank you x).

Will he win? I think he should. From what he’s been through and how he’s remained true I think he deserves it the most.

But even so...hes been with her 24/7 for what 7 weeks now? That is a hell of a lot longer than most people in new relationships spend together...say you meet up a few times a week even for a few hours at a time. Thats exactly how I see them. Actually not quite exactly, I see them like a one night stand, they would have had a great time together one night at a party, maybe met up again once afterwards for coffee and decided they werent right for each other.

There are elements of their personalities that are very similar. They are both sort of geeky and awkward in social situations, they have almost identical sense of humour (when Faye decides to not cop the hump) But the differences between them are so great it can never work.

The problem of course is they are stuck in there together all day and night with no escape. Neither dislikes the other enough to create a hideous atmosphere by ending it all, but neither really wants it to continue if they were honest with themselves. I do think in a year or two they will remember it fondly as a great time, but I dont think it will last in the real world.

Sorry, but your brother is responsible for his own actions and behaviour in the house. The fault lies with him and not 'BB editing.'

Personally, I can't stand him and think he's a nasty piece of work. That opinion was formed from as early as week one/two and I've not seen anything over the following weeks that has changed my opinion or has redeemed him in anyway.

He comes across as a highly selfish and spiteful human being. His callous comments and total disregard for his wife when talking about the birth of his son were disgusting and showed his true colours within the first few weeks of BB. Followed by weeks of him making snotty, unprovoked comments towards various HMs then acting the victim when challenged over said comments also did him no favours. His sabotaging tasks without a care of how it effected all the HMs and not just Anton/Jay, his pathetic sulks and strops when things don't go his way, his crap treatment of Faye after he had worked his way through several housemates have made him disliked by many. That is all his own doing.

I agree, he's not a game player and that he appears to be being himself - which boils down to being a deeply unpleasant individual.
