Legendary Hollywood star Robert Vaughn is set to arrive in Coronation Street.
Robert has been cast as Milton, a wealthy American who Sylvia Goodwin meets on the cruise she recently won at Mary's expense.
A triumphant Sylvia is set to boast about Milton when she gets back home and then he too arrives in Weatherfield, and puts the cat firmly amongst the pigeons.
Producer Phil Collinson said: "I am delighted to be welcoming The Man From U.N.C.L.E to Coronation Street. Robert was a huge part of my childhood and a magnificent actor. I am looking forward to seeing the impact this exotic character has on the ladies of Weatherfield."
Robert is famous for his many leading roles, including Napoleon Solo in the aforementioned spy drama 'The Man From U.N.C.L.E', detective Harry Rule in 'The Protectors' and con-man Albert Stroller in the popular series 'Hustle', he also played Lee in the big screen version of 'The Magnificent Seven'.
Robert is set to appear on screen as Milton early next year and we can't wait to see him in the Rovers Return!
