View Full Version : Jay What was his problem with Aaron and Alex

He was slagging them off the whole way through the task telling them to get on with it and stop making a big deal (even though he didnt know what was going on).

Then he said (I thought as a joke) that he wanted Aaron to get covered in instrument (lol) and seeing them emerge from the diary room not drenched in paint he looked genuinly depressed.

Lol! yeah he said i thought it'd be worse than that, he sounded genuinely disappointed they weren't covered from head to toe even though he'd kick off if they were cos he'd have less food! he doesn't like aaron it's as plain as the nose on my face.

He was quite aggressive, out of the blue, as he'd been fine with everyone then he just changed. He is trying to suppress his true nature for the last week, now he knows he is in the final and his allies have all gone, but the mask slipped well and truly. Leopards dont change their spots.

How about this for hypocrisy;

After his task of using cling film to stop two blobs of paint from hitting him, he walks out without removing the cling film and imidietly tells everyone he can see about the giant exploding balloon full of paint that is covering the diary room.

Alex comes out with probably 50 times as much paint all across her chest and around her abdomen and Jay exclaims "Is that all? Thats nay big deal for the fuss yous were makin."

Someone else getting airtime.

Surprised he didn't rush off to make another message for Loo. Or if he did they couldn't be arsed to show it.

Yeah he was, I was beginning to forgive his daliance with the pathetic wolf pack charade. Thought maybe hes just easily led, but that moment was malicious. Wasnt so much the sentiment but the way he said it.

"Id really love it if he got covered in human excrement just to see the look on his face"

(notice Faye laughing along with them too... again)

It was really out of nowhere, weirdly this has been Aarons most cheerful day in about a week, he has been like a postive ray of sunshine compared to the last few days and suddenly Jay just switched on him, he had a pop at him earlier on the pea soup task to, mocking him for having a 'semi' which didnt seem to be the case from what I saw. A cynic might think he wanted Aaron to be moody all the time....

Oh yeah, Aaron and Faye are getting on really well, Jay gives them dirty looks the whole way through, aaron goes out for a smoke and Jay sticks the knife in.

To Faye

"Your relationship is very strange" (compared to his fart worshiping, armpit sniffing, poo fest)

"Yous dont seam to get along"

"He is so moody with you"

"I dont know how you put up with it"

"I would just get rid if I were you"

"I couldnt cope with him outside the house"

I suspect Aaron's had endure far more of this type of thing than any of us have seen and apart from Jay's vile habits - will be the reason Aaron has never liked him over the course.

I agree - Jay's managed to try to rein in his hatred for Aaron since he realised that Aaron continued not only to be saved by the public, but came tops again.

His mask is slipping though as it's hotting up towards the final week. He's an idiot of a man - and is as jealous as hell of Aaron - and his intelligence. Loved when Aaron said the banal convos were just so uninteresting and Jay trying to rack his brains for something intelligent to discuss with Aaron !! :joker:

Not a big fan of Jay's but totally agree with this post.
Plus Jay's comments to Faye about her & Aaron were because Jay cant understand how Faye can put up with Aaron's moods especially after Faye was complaining to Jay about Aaron.

Because Jay isn't smart enough to click onto the fact that Faye is playing Aaron...... plus it suits Jay - as he can't abide Aaron, so any old excuse to fault the guy will do for Jay.

Yeah thats fair enough, I could understand it if he had said it with a smile on his face, or more importantly directed the comment at Alex. But he just mentioned Aaron, it was clearly cause Jay doesnt like Aaron and likes seeing him annoyed and upset. Plus it wasnt said with humour, it was said with venom imo.

Added to the fact he spent the whole episode last night trying to ruin Fayes mood and slag off Aaron. No I dont buy your reason, Jay doesnt like it when Aaron and Faye are happy. Same way Lou doesnt like it when Aaron and Faye are arguing and getting air time, ever noticed how she engineers some form of romantic clinch with Jay whenever this happens.

People seem to have short memories, it was only a couple of nights ago Jay tried to cheer up Aaron and tried to have a conversation that would interest him. The same night he also helped Faye out and gave her advice which she was grateful for, I think Jay just prefers having a good atmosphere in the house

Jay wants Aaron to be moody so he can look the nice guy when trying to cheer him up, he knos Aaron will continue to sulk, annoying the public and other housemates.

When Jay talks to Faye about Aaron, she normally is grateful, this is because Jay assures her the none of it is her fault putting the fault purly on Aaron and critisizing him, so even though he is making her feel better herself, he is trying to put even more strain on the relationship.

You could tell yesturday just how annyoed he was when they were dancing and hugging openly getting annyoed about their relatioship to other housemates and taking every chance to drip more poison in Faye's ear.

He needs the public to see Faaron in a bad light so by contrast they fall for JayLo (not saying Jay is in a fauxmance, but I am saying that if Farron fails this will automatically increase JayLo's credibility.

That just feeds his desire to be seen as Mr good guy and the peacemaker of the house. He wasnt so nice when he got the power affect the house during the crypt task. Indeed had it not been for the fact that Aaron was popular him and Anton would have put both Faye and him up together in a heartbeat when they thought they were swapping places rather than just an extra nom.

Seems you also have a short memory. You dont go from that level of vitriol about someone (they hated Aaron) to liking him in 2 weeks. Where as by contrast Aaron has never hated Jay, he just finds his humour and views repulsive (which I do to) he didnt even slag him off during that crypt week. If the tables were turned Jay would have had a field day slagging off Aaron.

Jay has never hated Aaron, he tried for weeks to make amends with him after their falling out and Aaron continuously blanked him and ignored him, it's only recently that Aaron's been able to accept their differences and they've started to get along well. I think in the crypt a lot of the stuff he said was influenced by Anton tbh, he was the one who was really trying to get Aaron out

I honestly think you, and Jamesy, are overcomplicating Jay, he's not trying to put on some kind of a false persona, he's not trying to deceive or manipulate anyone; I think he's as straightforward as they come and isn't always trying to play the game or act differently in order to get votes.

Also it was interesting how everyone goes on about Jay sucking up to Aaron and yet Faye and Tom were convinced that it was Aaron who was up Jay's ass

Jay has always disliked him. And vice versa. They are about as different as you can get man wise. Aarons all touchy feely new age bloke with feelings and Jay is a total caveman.

Jay only ever tried to be friends with Aaron after it became apparent he was popular. He has taken every opportunity in the whole series to kick Aaron when hes down, and then offer the olive branch (how magnanimous of him!) He knows damn well that when Aaron is moody it makes him look better, hence all the fake concern. Then when hes happy he does his best to wind him up or spread lies about him.

Lets not forget that Waggot is just as fame hungry as any of them, hes not the simple bloke hed like us to believe, most normal blokes from Newcastle wouldnt have got involved with the pathetic playground **** that was the wolfpack with those two total jokes Anton and Aden. He loves being number 1 top dog alpha male, thats why he liked those two idiots cause they idolised him.

Aaron has never danced to his tune and he hates it. Yes at times they are able to get on as the series has progressed, thats I think cause they have both just accepted the others faults and moved on. I dont think Jay is evil, but if he had the chance he would Nom and evict Aaron in a heartbeat. Same for Aaron, except he has never pretended otherwise imo.

Oh and Faye and Tom are not good case studies for opinions on Aaron. Tom takes just about every chance he gets to be spiteful about him and Faye isnt far behind. Thats a poor example coming from you tbh

Sure they're complete opposites but I quite like the friendships they formed, they do acknowledge the differences between them and like Jay said to Aaron, he knows he's not everyone's cup of tea, but they've been getting along well since Anton's departure.

Since it became apparent he was popular? What you mean in week 1? I'm so sick of this claim, people criticise Jay when they weren't getting along, and now they're criticising him when they are. Fact is, Aaron was being quite petty and uncourteous refusing to speak to Jay when he was trying to make amends, Harry never had the same problem, after the incident with the ketch up Harry had a rant and then they apologised and made up, yet Aaron didn't have the decency to do the same, it was never Jay that had the problem with Aaron, he's always struck me as the kind of guy happy to get along with anyone

True Jay does want fame but I think he has more straightforward motivations and ways of getting that fame. The Wolfpack is and always was just a jokey thing that anyone could have joined, it wasn't exclusive, and Aaron even said to Jay that he would take over if Jay was evicted. And tbh Faye and Tom have spent 2 months with Aaron we've only seen a few hours of him, they're probably in a better position to make a judgement than any of us are so it's a very valid example.

The difference in your example with Harry when compared to Aaron is that Aaron has shown time and again he wont bend his principles on certain subjects. If people wrong him they get excommunicated - unlike say Harry he is quite happy to have nobody talk to him, he doesnt like most of them that much anyway. Jay doesnt get along cause he a good bloke, he gets along for the sake of the show, for noms, for public support. Do you honestly believe in the outside world Jay wouldnt have punched Aarons lights out by now? He more or less admitted as much already.

He holds back cause hes scared of public and HM reaction. Aaron doesnt give two hoots what people think of him most of the time. Why should he pretend to get along with someone who he clearly has nothing in common with? The only reason they chat now is cause Jay (amazingly) is probably the only voice who speaks sense left in there. As nice as Alex is shes very young, Faye is always going off on one, Louise is about as interesting as dishwater and Tom is a spiteful little troll. Aarons not exactly spoilt for choice in the chatting stakes.

And Tom is about the last person Id ask for an opinion on Aaron, hes horrid, has been ever since Aaron spurned him, amazed you dont see that.

Perhaps he is just sticking to his principles, but I think he's being quite petty in doing so. Sure if they were outside the house in the real world it'd be fine to just lose contact with someone if you didn't like them but when you're actually living with people 24/7 for weeks you should at least make an effort to get along imo, Jay was after all, he should have returned the favour. I can't really speak for what Jay would do in the outside world, the only time he's got angry with Aaron really has come as a consequence of the food situation, a situation which wouldn't arise between them outside of the house. I think he's actually controlled his anger quite well considering the environment they're living in, anger would be a lot easier to deal with outside of the house so no I don't really think he would have punched his lights out but I can't really say.

You're right Aaron isn't spoiled for choice, but neither is Jay; Aden's gone, Anton's gone, Mark's gone and as much as he might like Louise I think he'd also like some male company so that may well be why the two have started to get on better recently. I don't think it has much to do with his popularity, they've always know that Aaron is popular and it didn't stop him and Jay having their fall-outs, and Jay will also have heard all the boos for Anton but stayed friends with him. I just don't agree that he is as influenced by the outside world as you seem to think.

And sure Tom is a horrible person, but he's bitched about Jay a few times before and isn't really great friends with him, and Faye obviously likes Aaron, so I don't see why they'd be particularly inclined to lie about Aaron being up Jay's ass when really the opposite was true

Ive kind of lost track of what we were originally debating, but you make some good points even though I dont agree.

But this part mate you are flogging a very dead horse... Faye has consistently lied about Aaron and twisted his words to other HMs to make him look bad, she does it all the time, how you can possibly say otherwise is frankly mind boggling. In fact after Anton, Tom and Jem she has probably gossipped about him and made him appear bad more than anyone.

I think if we are being 100% fair they are both 'up each others arses'

Jay knows aarons popular, Aaron knows Jay always get crowd support. They kind of have an unspoken truce going now if you want my honest appraisal. The competition element of voting is gone now, its just about riding it out to the end.

So have I tbh  and yeah ok I see your point about Faye, just thought it was interesting to note the contrast between the way they apparently were seeing it and the way a lot of people here have seen it, but it's probably true that they are both up each others arse to a certain extent

He was hacked off they were having fun. It should have been him and his princess...:joker:

This is spot on.

I haven't been on tibbs a couple days, and after watching last nights show I thought it was full of digs at Aaron from most HM even Faye doing her bit. Aarons moods over last few days did my box in, and then when he shows he can have fun HM seemed even more against him.
