I don't see what is wrong with him avoiding confrontation... he reminds me of my OH when he does that, my OH likes to get time alone to calm down or think etc and avoid it escalating... I think it is better to do that, and than to react... or, like at the dinner table, be goaded into a fight which Tom was clearly trying to do.

Unlike some of the attention *****s in there (Rebeckah much!!) he doesnt feel the need to have shameful slanging matches with people, he always wins in the end by being himself, and being totally consistent and true to his morals. Every person who has crossed him is gone except Jay, that should tell you what the public think of people who shout their mouths off.

Rebeckah was a classless ho, only reason she turned on Aaron was cause he rebuffed her clumsy advances on him the first night when she wouldnt let him have a wee in peace and started banging on about how she gets paid to **** on people. She thought he'd fall for her, he didnt, she shouted and screamed, made herself look like a tit, and got evicted...

So he doesnt like stand up arguments, plenty of people dont, or are you from the 1950s and think all men must be violent and confrontational. Aaron has proved you can solve issues by being passive and calm.

Shame on you for berating him for it. God help us if the whole world was like Rebeckah and Jay.

Oh and on the subject of Jay, was it not him who on more than one occassion completely lost his bottle when faced up to by Harry then during the Rebeckah and Heaven argument. He is just as cowardly, only way he knows how to stand up for himself is with his fists, which he cant do in there. So instead he slinks off and gossips about people.

It's not about him 'ducking' away from controversy, it is him avoiding it coz some people can be the bigger person and avoid unnecessary conflict. I don't see what the issue is with someone not wanting to be involved in such things...

Nah, him melting in the face of direct confrontation, in order to strike back through sulks and behind the back manipulations is exactly what makes people say he could qualify as just that, or at least see him as an emotional bully.

Note: I don't say he is an 'abusive husband'. I think thats an extreme label which he dosen't qualify for.
