I like a lot of twists on a series of big brother, but I hate it when the prize money is tampered with!
When all is said and done...this is a gameshow that is peopled with gameshow contestants who playing the said game for a prize!
In this case the prize is £100,000.(+ mag-deals etc)...So my point is that the eventual winner of the show , whether I liked them or not, will have been the strongest competitor and therefore a worthy winner that is within their rights to feel aggrieved if the prizemoney that they have competed for (10 weeks 24/7) against 14 other hand-picked contestants, is suddenly halved!! :nono:
It's not the first time that BB has rewarded their 'STAR' of the series in this way!...And I think that it shows just how much BB appreciates the person that obviously has earned them the most telephone/facebook revenue!! :conf:
If I had any influence on the show, (which I obviously do not) the only twist that I would be sanctioning on the BB champion would be to actually increase the bounty, and not punish them for being my biggest success!! :nono:
And as this unimaginative twist is useless, because it was obvious that the final five would be so hyped and loved-up that they had made the final 5, that they would make a pact to devide the cash equally, thus nullifying any point to the operation...then BB may as well have devided the whole £100,000. into 5 vastly uneven ammounts (as they have done with the £50,000.) and let the public decide who gets what with their votes! :xyxwave:
