View Full Version : What happened to Aarons 'dignity?
That he has been rattling on about from day one. Tonight showed a total lack of dignity from a man who has been held up, especially by himself, to be the epitome of dignity. I wouldn't have been surprised if Mark had did this (and it would have been funny, because that IS mark - or even Jay (though thrusting against men isn't his thing). But coming from a man that even a burp disturbs his sensibilities it doesn't make any sense. Is this the Aaron who is so reticent about sexual matters that he never once got hot with Faye in bed, and hasn't had sex for 7 years (well we know that is a lie already.)
He gets a little trophy for being 'most entertaining' and before you can say 'dignity' he is stark naked, thrusting himself obscenely at Tom and rubbing his balls into his neck. Yes, it was a game, but hitherto Aaron would have taken the high road, given that little arrogant shake of the head he is so fond of that means he doesn't approve of lesser mortals actions and said 'oh dear' in that old woman way. What a turnaround. What a complete and utter fake he is.
You could tell Faye was mortified. Poor girl. I think the light is beginning to dawn on her.

Was very surprised to see Aaron flaunt his flat, bare arse on my TV tonight - he's the last person in the house I would expect that from tbh... considering how the pompous twat seems to promote on a regular basis just how dignified a person he is.

Aaron's 'dignity' is as conditional and situational as the rest of him.
Adopted and discarded as the game plan requires.
Fake rolling of the eyes one minute at the mention of a rude part, streaking through the garden naked the next.

Who, Aaron? The one who never before let fun get in the way of his 'dignity'?
He was very quick to strip for TOM, the boy who had fancied him and had once accused Aaron of leading him on. Why on earth pick him? I am beginning to think that if he and Faye hadn't taken off, Tom would have been his victim for a showmance.

On the other side, Aaron is praised for having certain qualities - then when those prove not to be quite true, the goalposts shift....and shift...and shift once more to fit in with any behaviour he cares to display. I would rather be consistent than all over the place just to save face.

Are you talking about the dares game?
If so, it was part of a task. It was to win alcohol.
It’s been a strange old day in the Big Brother House, newly Faye-less and contending with the money split decision earlier, the mood has been slightly wavering. Aaron has spent most of the day finding areas of the House to have a nap or a little moment alone. So it’s just about time Big Brother shook things up a bit, and what better way than with a daring Task…
Today’s Task will see the housemates playing a game of ‘pass the dare’.When the music starts Housemates must pass the parcel around the group in a clockwise direction.
When the music stops, the Housemate that has the parcel must open one layer of paper. Inside the first 6 layers of the parcel are dares that the Housemates must complete. The following 6 layers will contain a dare and a prize.
Housemates are not allowed to swap dares or ask other Housemates to compete the dare for them and all dares must be completed in order to receive alcohol this evening.
How far will the housemates dare to go? Stick with us to find out...

Why does it frighten some people so much that there are those out there who dont like to swear, or talk about sex all the time, or be rude and nasty?
That is a sign of broken britain, in other countries an Aaron type of person wouldn't be hated or thought of as a fake for being this way, because those countries have manners and respect for others.

If he was the person who he has portrayed himself as ALL ALONG - someone with dignity and principles - he could still have done a strip tease in a tasteful and funny way (did he HAVE to strip completely naked)??? - and not thrust himself at Tom and mounted his shoulders (especially when the boy had had a 'thing' for him, and could have still....)
Less was definitely more in this case. Really, anyone who says differently are not doing themselves any favours.
Alex is my fav - but if she stripped naked and bucked herself at Louise (task or no task) it would be so out of character I would go right off her - because she wouldn't be the person I thought she was.
I thought Aaron fans loved his dignified and principled manner (which is fake in my eyes). Can you see anything dignified in his behaviour in that task?

Ah but see the odd thing about these Aaron fans that you speak of...not every one of them thinks the exact same thing on every situation like you seem to think they do. Same as not all Alex fans think the exact same thing, all Jay fans, and so on. Its simply ridiculous for people to keep pigeonholing fans.
Personally I like him because hes entertaining, and has been since the start. Every storyline...he has been a part of, I love his humour, and find his behaviour intriguing as I have never known anyone like him before. Nothing to do with dignity or principles. Also, I accept that he has flaws (many of them) yet still like him.
So to me, dignity aint really a problem, as this entertained me.

Because he did it again tonight. He sat in front of everyone and said if he was offered 50K to leave he would take it. Then at the end of the show he is telling tom if they gave him 100K for second he would not take it because winning was more important.

I thought it was funny, Aaron has not been shy as to stripping off his clothes before and the game where he kissed Tom was no better or worse than this incident.
Just another storm in a teacup from perhaps some who likely have no time for Aaron at all and it wouldn't matter if he acted perfectly all the time in the house, he would still get criticised for that even.
I also think Faye was surprised but never-the-less had to smile at it too.

Phish-posh! It’s the final week the entertainment dying in there BB wanted to lighten the mood. Aaron didn’t want to put a dampener on things by being unsociable. So your questioning him reason why did a striptease for Tom? Imo it was a logical choice. Aaron sees Alex as childlike and innocent, Louise is Jay girlfriend and it would have been disrespectful to Faye, Jay who considers himself as a man’s man like himself and did want to embarrass him and then you have Tom, would is considered to be bi, who probably would take offense and it would a nice early birthday present memory for him. And don’t forget you as the viewer will see that he is not all doom and gloom as BB are making him out to be. This isn’t a question of dignity it a question of Op and others who can’t stand the sight of Aaron trying to make sure he integrates with the group not only for himself but for everyone else’s benefit!

Doesn't the forum automatically change them itself anymore?

It does if the whole post is in caps...but when people put a smiley on the end the : joker : part isnt caps...so it doesnt get changed.

OMG - I must have missed the bit where he rubbed his naughty bits all over Tom :o
The last I saw, he was half sitting over Toms shoulders still covering his man bits
Yes, that's all anyone saw....as usual it has been exaggerated to say that he rubbed them all over him when in fact he just straddled Tom's shoulders while 'cupping' his privates.

Love or hate Aaron has most threads are about him. Can you imagine what everyone would be talking about if he'd never been on BB this year.We know we could write about Jay n Louise's filthy habits ...or even Alex but what's to write about her nuffing of interest really is there. Aaron deserves to win imo

At least we are consistent
On the other side, Aaron is praised for having certain qualities - then when those prove not to be quite true, the goalposts shift....and shift...and shift once more to fit in with any behaviour he cares to display. I would rather be consistent than all over the place just to save face.
THIS. But whatever, just write something condescending and put lots of identical smileys in a row and the argument is deemed won no matter what apparently...
