Read on another Forum that both Loo and Jay have donated £500 each from their share of the prize money to buy presents for Alex and Tom (Shoes for Alex a watch for Tom) apparently Aaron initially was in for it but withdrew upsetting both Loo and Jay! BB apparently agreed to this and will deliver the said gifts later.

£500 for a pair of shoes probably is normal for Louise - what Jay is expecting for a £500 watch is debatable!

They dont really sound too happy about doing it actually. A bit weird if the idea was just to be nice :S

As soon as jay came out of the diary room he said he felt sick about doing it...and Louise moaned that Alex doesnt share her stuff

an empty gesture designed to make them look good which has backfired spectacularly then, if the money doesnt get split, Jay still has 15,000 and surely will give 5,000 to his betrothed.so they are both okay....Aaaron and Tom could end up with 990 and 10 quid respectively...it will be interesting to see how this is edited and the reason Aaron gave for not joining in...for goodness sake who spends 500.00 on a birthday gift...

£500.00 is a large amount of money.......Aaron has a son to think of.There is no guarantee that they will keep their word and split the money when they leave!! who knows what debts or commitments he might have made to his family if he wins the money...so why would he want to be extravagant and give that amount to Alex and Tom...lets face it Toms been a complete arsehole to Aaron.

As always true to himself as always.... he is prepared always to not be 'a sheep' even if it may be seen as being mean or not playing along with the others.

If they were "buying popularity" they wouldn't have been seen showing to regret the decision, most likely thing is they thought; "it's their birthday, we've suddenly got 10 grand, let's get them a present" and then it only really occurred to them later how much they had spent, their perception of money and it's value must be a bit strange right now because they're effectively spending cash that they don't have

I'm sorry but who in their right mind buys someone they've known for a couple of months a present for 500 quid! And one of those presents is for someone who guaranteed to be getting 30 000 quid when they leave the house (and possibly another 50 000 on top of that).

Looks like the money they don't have is already burning a hole in their pockets. BB should give those two an Argos catalogue and tell them to circle what they want and they'll go and get it for them - that would make exciting HL show! :joker:

Jay and Louise came up with it. They say so in the video.

Aaron agreed to it then changed his mind.

Copied and Pasted from "another place":

Kicking off proceedings, Louise told Big Brother: “just been having a bit of a chat, when I thought, ‘I’ve come in here with nothing, I want to get these guys something’.” Jay agreed, adding that it’s “nice to give.” The couple decided that they would both put £500 out of their allotted amounts, towards the presents, with Jay choosing a watch for Tom and Louise choosing a pair of shoes for Alex. Big Brother agreed to their proposition, stating that their presents will be delivered to them later today.

Aaron was initially in on the gesture, but decided not to go through with it at the last minute, much to the annoyance of Jay and Louise. Recalling the incident to Big Brother, Louise had a rant saying she knew Aaron wouldn’t agree, Jay adding - “what comes around, goes around”

Well wait til you see the bigger picture before you make the judgement. From what I have read on here if Jay and Louise have done that without involving Aaron...then how would that make him look and feel??
If Aaron has said he wouldnt even spend 500.00 on his own son so why would he consider spending that on Alex and Tom then he is being honest and sensible.
Aarons the sort of person that even if he was decently rich he would keep things in perspective....and you surely have to respect him for that.
If Jay and Louise want to spend their money that way then thats their decision....but did they consider how Aaron might feel about not being involved with the gift???

I think he'd have refused to to take part and accused them of playing up to the cameras!

such a LOL sight...

Aaron the 'master gameplayer' seething with frustration at having a move stolen on him by his rivals :joker::joker:

Ofc, then he tries to switch it on them by accusing them for doing it for selfish reasons, only to give them the moral high ground :joker::joker:

Where oh where has the old Aaron gone... the one that knew how to play BB? Where has this clumsy bumbling fool come from? :joker::joker:

Bloody hell, they haven't even seen their bank accounts and they are already spending it.

I wonder if Louise will ask them for a shopping catalogue to browse through while she's still in there...

I am sure if you asked them they would consider it an investment ;)

He's dropped the ball and doesn't know how to get it back, hence the obvious signs of mad frustration he is now exhibiting.

Nope. The one that knows how to play BB is sitting with 30,000 in her bank account, a new pair of shoes that cost 500 quid, hair extensions that were bought with others food budget and having everyone (including BB) wait on her hand and foot. She's the real BB game player - no doubt about that!

The drivel of HM's that are left in the house have sucked the life out of Aaron (God, they've sucked the life out of me!) - you cannot soar like an eagle when you work with a bunch of turkeys! :nono:

A few minor set-backs but no worries - he will still win BB 2011

Aaron is smart enough to know the money isnt even in his account yet.... how does he know he can trust the division of money when they all get out!!!
BB could play another game this week where the money will be reduced even further.....its happened before.
No wonder BB was happy to buy the gifts....cos how entertaining would it be to find that money could be reduuced with other tasks.
Do you think that once outside the house and seeing something they dont like could change their mind....Alex and Jay and Louise would find a reason.
Aaron is wise and this is a clever ploy by BB and Aaron is upset because the others have fallen for it and he knows (yet again) that it will show him in a bad light.

ahh Rustic, you'll get it.

When Aaron is out and does interviews saying that OFC he isn't anything like the man in the house and laughs at the people that thought he actually was...

It will be too late to reclaim your vote money, but you will at least get it
