would you keep the 30 grand?
Do you think Alex will split the money?

I personally would keep it. I won it fair and square.

I think she will split it but she will have an extra $50 000 anyway ;)

If I had agreed to it I would split it.
I wouldn't pull an Aaron and pretend to agree and then backstab the group.

I would not break the agreement.
Of course, I wouldn't have entered into the agreement to begin with, but running off with the money would be a bad thing to do.
I'm surprised unhappy Aaron didn't volunteer to take the tenner.

Good Question!
I'd split it as agreed. Goldenballs is a great show but i hate the greedy beggars that steal at the end :nono:

I would have hung around the name board when the clock was ticking down, changed it so my name was at £30k when there was just 2 seconds remaining, then turn away and strut.
TV gold right there.

I dontthink either Alex or Jay will split the money. Alex might give tom some and Jay might give Louise some...but I think they will leave Aaron high and dry.
However he has nothing to fear cos he is the winner by a mile...and whether he is the last to leave the house or not....he will make more than the rest of them put together!!!

You wouldn't win the 50 k though by doing that. I would have convinced them to put my name at the 30k spot and go ahead with my game plan to fool the public into voting for me.
Then walk away with the 80k at the end.

Sucks to be yao-man. Although i applaud his trusting nature, he applied it in the wrong setting. No Honor some folk!

They all swore on their mothers life that they would split the money.I wouldn't back out of the deal myself.I'd share as agreed.

OK...I think this would depend on if the people were close friends to me.
This may make me a bad person, but I'm one of those who would steal in goldenballs too...a gameshow is a gameshow. You are in it to win(or get as much as you can from it)
If I considered the people to be friends, and wanted to stay in contact, I would split it. If not, I dont think i would :p

If I agreed to share it, then I would. Even if I hated them and had no interest in seeing them again on the outside, I would still share it.

Would you even if you'd agreed and sworn on your mothers life though?
I think I'd always split it, because I know if the situations were reversed, I had a tenner and the person with £30k kept it all I'd be furious

Swearing on someone's life means nothing to me. If you break the swear, whats going to happen? Is she going to die? Of course not. Its just words.
I wouldn't be upset with the person at all. I would be a tad bit jealous, but whoever won the 30k won it fair and square.

I actually agree. I would uphold a promise I had made, but all this weight put on swearing on someone's 'life' is confusing to me...
It's just hungover superstitious nonsense IMO.

Between the losers yes. If I win I'll split how we were meant to.

It would depend if I won the show or not. If I did win Big Brother I would share the other the 30k as promised. However if I didn't win Big Brother I would keep the money and hook any good friends I had made on the show and everyone else wouldn't get a penny.

I would split it, I think it would be very wrong of them not to.
I would split it if I'd promised to and I hope they stick to this..Alex, Louise, Jay and Tom will have the opportunity to make a lot more money anyway....I haven't mentioned Aaron here because I'm not sure Aaron will want to..I may be wrong but I think if he wins he may just use the money to improve his life for him and his son and walk away from the publicity, having won...I wonder if that's why he seemed angry that BB had messed around with the prize money.....don't blame him tbh

I would but Alex will not.
Alex short changed a blind woman so she's got form.
Last year Josie Gibson offered injured soldier Steve £10K to get a prosthetic leg. He never got the money and she came up with some cock and bull reason why her BB mucker didn't get the cash.
BB10 winner Sophie Reade promised Rodrigo money if she won, apparently he never spoke to her after the wrap party.
Before the final BB9 housemates and eventual winnner Rachel 'nicey wicey' Rice offered to split the money with each other whoever won - she never did. Hence Davina almost demanded she give some of her money away.
From what I can tell, once BB is over, and you've attended the wrap party you tend not to see your HMs ever again. They generally go back to their erstwhile lives (unless they try and be celebs) and the reality of paying off their parents mortgage/ buying a new car/ treating yourself to a Mulberry handbag/ paying off your brothers car insurance takes precedence over a promise you made to a BB housemate whom you only really knew for 9 weeks. Kate Lawler said, in the 4 years before Jade (RIP) died she only saw her once.

I would never had agreed to split it in the first place. I would have kept what i got and that was it. if i ended up with the tenner so be it.

Totally agree with this post - Alex won't share the money and neither will Jay - and Aaron knows that if the others can't see it then they are daft.

i thin she'll do it - but you can see tom and aaron doing things that seem like they dont trust she will
Tom keeps reminding her what how bad a person would be not to split it
Aaron told bb to split the money themselves :P

Alex is the last person I'd trust. I'd actually trust Jay more.
The thing is, once BB is over they are no longer under scrutiny from us. A few of us will keep tabs on the money share but Alex will be 'of the hook'. Alex's age also means she can get away with keeping it to herself with her apologists saying 'she's only 19' 'it's a life chaning amount of money' 'she didn't realise how much her granddad's car insuarance was' 'she doesn't understand how to divide, LOL' etc etc. If Aaron pulled a fast one he'd be crucified to b*ggery.
I can see Tom taking to Twitter in approx 4 weeks time slagging Alex off for reneging on his promise (ala BB10 Rodrigo did to Sophie) and Alex getting her family involved and telling Tom now that he's bitched about Alex he won't get a penny, etc.
If I made the deal I would stick to it. However I would have preferred to take the amounts from the hat and take my chance.
They only expected one to win, anything else is a bonus whoever ends up being the winner.

I'd be showing them what aaron said in the diary room about not liking anyone who is left...then let them decide if he should keep his paultry 990 quid while they split the rest 4 ways.
