It's weird, had they shown him '****ting in the freezer', or whatever happened, I might have actually liked him a lot more than I have. After all, it would've been one of the most interesting and funny things he's done in the house...

Yes I am serious, him '****ting in the freezer' sparked potentially one of the biggest discussions surrounding Big Brother this year. Can you imagine if they had actually shown it? I don't understand why people constantly fail to see that the success and basis of this show is built around discussion and debate. If there aren't any housemates creating those debates, these forums would not exist, shows like Bit On The Side would have nothing to talk about and as a whole, the entire show would almost fall flat on its face. I don't particularly mind Jay now, he's had his fair share of storylines and has contributed to creating discussion points, but had that particular incident been broadcast, the resulting discussion would've been even bigger than it was already...and that can only be nothing but beneficial. Yes it's disgusting in the 'real' world, but in terms of creating the best TV entertainment show possible...it's not really important.
You know what they say, any press is good press [or whatever it is].

Jays name has been Jay in the house not Justin. Sophie and Freddie were given the name Halfwit and Dogface by BB in the house as part of a task. Your argument holds no substance whatsoever.

I'm talking exactly on the same premise - it's the same thing in reverse.
I think you will find that his given name is Justin. His preferred name his Jay. Some chose not to call him that.
Freddie was the name he preferred. People chose to refer to him by the name 'given' to him by BB. Halfwit. Same difference.
Anyhow, that's a side note to the thread.
It's abundantly clear why Jay never made it in KP's show - and I am pretty sure it's behaviour related - and I mean on the outside and I don't think he'll be unknown to the boys in blue. ;)
I cannot for the life of me see how on earth BB or CH5 / Endemol can ever have allowed a so obviously aggressive, volatile and violent housemate to remain in the house. It really does defy belief.
