Well I am relaying what his mum said in New mag:

He's dyslexic and had a lot of learning problems. He was handed a questionnaire and just ticked 'no' to everything without being able to read it. One asked if he had a criminal record so they let him go because in their opinion he lied.

He took responsibility for something a girlfriend did. She banged out of a bar, absolutely mortal, and smashed a glass, but he said it was him, so he got a drunk and disorderly charge for it.


She goes into detail on his sexual technique about why Jay hasn't had sex with Louise - bit odd for a mum to know this.

She expresses no shame that he leave the toilette door open when he poos 'he couldn't be himself more', on Jay wiping Lou's pillow with his bum 'he has the cleanest hoop in the UK', she says he didn't make it to Geordie Shore final cut as he previously suffered from depression after a break up, taking anti-depressants and he got back on track by going to the gym.

I'm a little surprised bb would allow someone with a criminal conviction on the show.. but then nothing c5 do surprises me these days.

She probably said all that thinking he would sound like a hero for stepping in and taking the blame for his girlfriend, but IF that is true it's not a commendable deed in my opinion :nono:

Also thought that when Jay was moaning about not being allowed to do anything in the house I thought he sounded very ungrateful. They've had a pretty easy time in there and thousands would love the opportunity to go on the show but all he can think about is that he's not allowed to sh*t in a kettle or throw tables through windows :shocked:

Apparently they warned Tom after his threatening comments and it wasn't shown so they might have done the same with Jay

Exactly. If they had reprimanded Jay - and they have had many opportunity to do so; the viewers would have kicked up hell that he had still remained in the house after so many warnings.

So either the has not had the warnings (otherwise he'd would not surely, continue with such behaviour)

or

He has had the warnings, but once again, BB had not shown that to the viewing public: because it would have gone against Jay in the voting.

Either way: BB has indeed been covering up for Jay - and protecting him.

I also think the lack of a serious response to Jay's racist joke is indicative of the new 'downgrading' of racism.

Eg John Terry is still picked for England (and death threats to Anton Ferdinand), Suarez not reprimanded for alleged racist comments to Evra, Tiger Woods caddie getting a slap on the wrist for racist comments, Kelis being told to stop whingeing when she brings up racist comments at an airport, Kitty given a sympathetic PR spin on X-Factor and now Jay staying in BB house. I remember when the well spoken blond girl was kicked out in BB8
