her head's got so big since she won the eviction she seems to think she rules the house now and can say whatever she wants about Aaron, as long as Jay's at her side of course!

Yes, I did. Aaron has nothing to say for himself, and he surely does not destroy anyone. Jay is clearly upset yes, but I'm pretty sure that's because he's proper angry about Aaron unjustly playing the victim card once again, and not making the slightest effort to put things right.

They've never been clever enough to put Aaron down, thats where Aaron comes into his own he sits quite say very little if anything at all, and they can't stand it because that means they've lost control.

I don't get it if they really didn't do it to look good and don't care about how they are perceived by the public why are they continually going on and on and on about the fact that they didn't do it for that reason and that Aaron is rude and wrong to ignore them?

Do you really think you have to have a verbal slanging match to win or "own" someone. :nono:
The moment Jay swayed off the subject and brought up Faye and that he was responsible for her leaving was the very point Aaron owned him. He could not win with his petty argument so had to start getting personal and bring in rubbish which actually (as Aaron pointed out to him) wasn't true because it was his g/f fault.
Owned .... big time!
And I won't even waste my time on Louise ..... who almost attempted to get some tears but clearly failed as she had missed that acting class lesson!

IF he'de been playing this massive 'game' as some people claim then he would have gone along with the 'present' thing to make himself look good,Aaron does not try and win favour and that is one thing I like him for,he is not pretending to be such a 'nice' person, then threatening to 'knock someone out'.

Yes, please do ignore why Jay brought the nominations up, because it's not like it's in any way relevant that Aaaron goes behind people's back whenever it suits him and then try to make it out like it's because of his principles. The reason why he mentioned how Aaron was with Faye is because it highlights Aaron's behaviour whenever he's fallen out with someone; he never tries to meet them halfway.
Jay is the bigger man here, no matter what one might think of him otherwise. He reaches out, Aaron does not.

What like your ignoring the fact that Aaron was the only one amongst the lot that had the brains to tell them how to vote initially so that they would all be up but it was BB stopped them and made them redo the noms numerous times?
Or was it the fact that it was not Aaron but Jay's idea to get everyone up and Aaron said right from the start he's not being told by anyone on how or who to vote?
Or would it be the fact that Louise chose to put Faye up instead of choosing Tom in which they would all, except Alex, be up?
Or would it be the fact that Louise said afterwards that she didn't want to put her friend Alex and Tom up so chose Faye and knew exactly what she was doing?
Sorry, I'm a bit confused as there are so many options to choose from!

It's the same every year, you're always gauranteed to get more sheep. Housemates that think for themselves and aren't afraid to say what they think for fear of being up for eviction or being isolated, are the reason I watch Big Brother. It's a shame we don't get more of the Aaron's, Marcus's, Rex's, Science's etc. etc. and less of the gangs.
BB10 in particular, was spoilt because of the sheep. Almost every week that year, interesting and outspoken housemates whether you liked them or not, were up for eviction in a head to head. Marcus Vs Freddie being the worst in BB history because they were both my favourites by far that year:bawling:

We have different views on the nom thing, and I have no desire to bring up that discussion in general. It was only relevant in the sense that no matter if one shares Jay's take on that or not, they were similar and recent enough to warrant him bringing them up. If Jay and Louise are shady for not telling Aaron they changed their minds and decided to buy gifts anyway, then Aaron is certainly shady for not telling them he was changing nominations.

Seems a bit like that from what faye said. She seemed to be implying that they nominated a fair few times rather than just twice as we were shown
It also took over 2 hours for the nominations according to twitter...so this kind of backs up the above view. Wouldnt take 2 hours for 6 people to nominate twice.

Why did he have to tell them.... it was a face-to-face nomination?
The only way that it could possibly have been similar is if BB had accepted their original votes of having everyone up and Aaron had gone into the diary room after noms and changed his decision without telling everyone and then suddenly said to Alex afterwards "Oh, btw I got you off being nominated this week so you're safe. I hope you like my generous gesture, it cost me 500 quid. I've never spent 500 quid on anyone before. Did I mention that it cost me 500 quid."

What I dont get about this is...ok jay is apparently trying to stop the animosity in the house. That would be fair comment...however, Aaron hasn't even mentioned this since it happened. It is Jay and Louise that keep bringing it up, and therefore Jay and Louise who are continuing the animosity in the first place.
Also it was Jay that said he swears he will never speak to Aaron again and went a bit mental raging on about it(during the party...you know, the party that he was moaning that AARON was ruining) and swapping the money round, but then after hes had his rant he expects Aaron to jump to what he wants? Reminiscent of Jems attempt to 'build bridges'...she had her say and then expected Aaron to forget it because she had decided enough was enough.
The excuse is that its Aaron causing an atmosphere for the whole house, when this isnt the case. There is no atmosphere between Aaron/Alex/Tom. Only with Aaron/Lou/Jay. If they were really bothered about the atmosphere, they would leave Aaron to do his own thing, and stop ranting on about it in front of Alex and Tom. Both of whom look quite out of place and awkward during this clip. Because other people are still ranting.
Basically, because Aaron didnt do what Jay wanted... Jay has brought it all back up again in front of everyone to try and score points. Thats what I get from this video.
Also, what doesnt make sense at all..is that Jay is trying to rid the house of atmosphere...right...but he had already had this particular convo with Aaron...so why have it again in front of everyone? Because he had backup? In having the same rant yet again, he is continuing it.
It's interesting that when Jay was outside with Aaron alone they were having a calm, reasonable conversation but when there's an audience he becomes confrontational. Very interesting indeed ;)

But Aaron not mentioning it is precisely the reason why there's a negative atmosphere, it's because of his refusal to try and talk about the whole thing, he might not be outward and expressive with his anger but it's always there bubbling underneath the surface and that creates an uncomfortable living situation.
We all say things when we're pissed off in the heat of the moment that we don't mean; Aaron has said plenty of times that he's not going to talk to X for the rest of the series, Aden said it about Louise as well, I don't see why it comes under so much scrutiny now that Jay has said it. And he's not really expecting Aaron to "jump to what he wants" by apologising and admitting he was wrong. It's the other way round really, Jay has had to jump to what Aaron wants and swallow his pride because it was the only way of getting Aaron to even utter a word to him
Aaron came in, Jay said he could come and sit with them so they could have a proper discussion because he realised it wasn't just about the two of them, they needed to resolve things as a group and also considering he'd been out there slagging Louise off then she does have a right to defend herself as well tbf. And I think he became more confrontational because Louise was kind of inflaming the whole situation in a way

I think Aaron is just extremely good at ignoring people and keeping himself to himself and Jay and Lou don't like it.
They're getting frustrated with him and taking their frustration out by telling him he's wrong, trying to get a reaction from him but Aaron is just ignoring it by saying 'okay' to every comment.
I love the line Jay uses 'I don't need to use big words me'. As if Aaron had be using big words... all he said up to that point was pretty much 'okay'.
No wonder the public on BOTS and Evictions can relate to Jay, they're probably all just as thick as him.

Jay and Aaron had already spoke(calmly) about this, and decided nothing else was to be said.
Minutes later Jay is talking about it with the others, and brings it up AGAIN. Then gets all confrontational when he has backup, rather than speaking calmly like he does on his own. Yes, Louise inflamed it further, but the point is...why did he start going on about it again after already deciding to drop it?
And Aaron is in the wrong?
There is not a negative atmosphere because of Aaron NOT mentioning it at all...Aaron has yet to say ANYTHING to Tom and Alex about the presents being for show, so he was clearly not wanting to create an atmosphere between them all. He said it to Jay, and Jay alone, Jay and Lou then continued this...making a massive deal about it... and made everyone else uncomfortable.
It is Louise and Jay that brought that up infront of them and to them, thus making Tom and Alex uncomfortable too.
Why the need to bring everyone else into their argument?

I don't think the two of them decided anything, Jay eventually gave up because Aaron wasn't in the mood for reasoning with him. When he went back in there and relayed the conversation I think he picked up on Louise's point about him messing up the nominations and so wanted to ask him about that, and Louise did have a right to give her point of view as well. Plus Alex and Tom might have wanted a say as well, they were happy to give their 2 cents when Aaron wasn't there after all, I don't see what's wrong with having a group discussion at all, it was just unfortunate it turned into another argument
There's only 5 of them left, do you not think that if 3 of them are embroiled in a row where they can't even talk to each other then that's going to create a negative atmosphere?
Vicky.

Its quite clear that we are never going to agree on this at all Matt. While I accept Aaron overreacted, IMO it is Jay and Louise that are carrying this on and making everyone else uncomfortable by keep bringing it up :p
Anyway, the good thing about this vid is it shows how highly edited the diary room conversation was...
Louise - "We've not done it to be sly, that's not in our nature, that's what we would do, that's what I would do in the real world"
Aaron - "No you wouldn't, you sat in there and said everything, you said that you wanted to save an African village, you said you can buy shoes for £12, you can buy a bag for £20 and you wouldn't spend that on a present"
Louise - "yeah I did, I did say that because it was a lot of money"
Sort of gives more weight to why Aaron said they did it for the cameras. Wonder what else we missed ;)

Louise - "yeah I did, I did say that because it was a lot of money"
Sort of gives more weight to why Aaron said they did it for the cameras. Wonder what else we missed ;)
Yeah I think we'd better agree to disagree
And wtf at Louise wanting to "save an African village" :conf2:

LOL yeah I know.
It really does make me understand why Aaron thinks it was all for the cameras though(about Louise anyway, I doubt Jay would have said anything as corny whilst in there :suspect: )

Aaron obviously doesn't suffer fools gladly, and there are some fools in there,it's good he likes his own space and likes his own company,I am the same too,I dont get the chance often but it's heaven when i do,I understand that he finds it difficult to be in that kind of company,Louise especially ALWAYS wants to look like SHE is the nice kind one, when infact she is very sly and very spiteful and Jay shows off infront of her,and does himself NO favours.

THIS^ are some people watching the same show?
