A blinder from the double A last night bringing Jay to the brink of a mental breakdown and causing him to blow any chance of winning after his petulant display.And he did all this without even saying a word to him.Jay has fallen into the same mode as Anton who left the house in a straight jacket-totally obsessed by him.

It does make me chuckle when you see some comments about Aaron being a manipulator when really he just goes off does his own thing, speaks to people he wants to and just watches the meltdown that goes on around him in response to it - amazing :joker:

I truly believe there is a lot of truth in what you've said Kate. I do believe that Jay is jealous beyond belief, and clearly, beyond control - he knows what he is himself, and it seems he really doesn't like what reflect back to him in the mirror every morning.

They all seem to be completely in awe of Aaron. He has a charisma and aura about him that he can completely control the mood of the house. If any of the others sulked....everyone else would just carry on around them...

Aaron has complete control.... his character is so strong that none of them seem to function when he has his down time. They seem completely dependant on him.

His character isn't as much strong as it is stuck. He has decided he has all the answers, and that's when you stop developing as a human being. The reason why he bothers people is because he's making others feel uncomfortable, not because they depend on him. He really is an energy drainer. If he had left, I bet more than anything they'd felt a huge relief.

Yep, i think what it is - particularly with Jay & Anton, and to a lessor extent - Tom & Louise, is that Aaron is behaving quite different to anyone in their social circles on the outside, and they don't know how to deal with him, or connect. In normal life they'd just give up, and not be bothered to attempt to get to know him any further. But they've been stuck in this house with him, and known he's popular on the outside so have pushed themselves to try and get along. And basically it's come off looking like they're obsessed with him.

I think it is a question of intelligence. People with little find sitting silently very difficult.
Aaron is no genius but has considerably more than Jay etc. This enables him to resort to his own silent company; sometimes he does find it necessary to talk to himself.
