View Full Version : There really should be no opposition to Aaron.

Been a reader of these forums since BB10 (Marcus and Freddie fan) but never could be bothered to post until now, just to show my support for arguably the greatest HM ever - Aaron.

Lets get the obvious out of the way, he made the show, all of the story lines revolved around him, he was an enigma that was constantly unpredictable in his reactions. Thus making him an individual who has a layered well developed personality and is not one or two dimensional like Alex/Jay/Louise.

It can be argued he has a gameplan but so what? You would think everyone remaining there has a gameplan they are just not intelligent or witty enough to display it or cause as much of a ****-stir that Aarons supposed gameplan has done. He has been the most real character in there because he has shown his vulnerabilities as much as his appeal, at points I despised his strops but thats what being a human is all about; showcasing your flaws.

You can't always be a dumb blonde, over the top optimistic, bubbly person for 60 days unless you are definitely playing a game. She is harmless but she was also invisible for a large portion of BB.

You can't be a 'i am normal, me' type 1-dimensional being who is attempting to play up to all the previous popular HM stereotypes (particularly Sophie). Louise is 1-dimensional and therefore just attempts to embrace previous mannerisms that were considered 'playful and entertaining' but they simply do not connect with her 1-dimensional-ness.

I am not even going to talk about Jay as he is just a disgusting human being. And it would take me far too long to write in words how much I despise a 'looter' like character that he showcases. His fans should be ashamed of himself for supporting such a character as a representative of the UK. We all are fond of finding the grey or the white in black characters with 'shoddy upbringings' like Jay Mcray the gangster, the reality is that more often than not its just that, a boulevard dream of sorts only seen in the likes of Guy Ritchie movies, in the real world, a rude gangster is a rude gangster and there are no ways around it.

People tune into BB to be entertained indeed but they need to realize that at the foundation of it, the crux is that its a social experiment meant to highlight the best and worst sides of people and their interactions. Aaron has lived up to that social experiment and showcased the most multi-dimensional character in ions. Alex, Loise and Jay have rarely done so.

To put it simply, assume hypothetically that you were an intern working for a 'god-scientist' whose responsibility for the week is to write a report on a specimen in this 'glass BB box social experiment' that has to be a certain length 10 pages whatsoever, only a daft intern would chose to write on Alex or Jay or Louise as they would be done in with their 1-dimensionless. The obvious pick would ALWAYS BE AARON.

Welcome to the forum OP :)

Thing is though, as much as I want Aaron to win, on the day of the final it will be the casual viewers watching also, and it's likely they will not see the online tweets and videos, only the highlights show and stuff like OKTV, and will vote accordingly, and those phone votes could sway it for one of the other housemates, whereas in previous weeks they probably would not have done.

Let's just hope Aaron can win against the odds stacked up against him.

Aaron has the personality of an 8 year old child. I'd much rather see any of the other 3 win.

Great post OP. I hope Aaron does win but I was sad at the boos he got last night. I put some votes in for him and got straight through which isn't a good sign I'm worried about tonight now, not so much about the fact he may not win but I don't want him or anybody else for that matter to be booed.

Aarons up against it tonight, not only is he competing against Alex and Jay (forget Louise as she won't win), but he's up against Channel 5 and their producers, they are doing everything possible to prevent us from voting for him.

The eviction crowd Boos are pathetic, the evictess such as Harry and now Tom stick the knife into him, it's all one big fix, in the hope that Big Brother/Channel 5 get the winner they choose! which for me is either Alex or Jay.

They are both the stereo typical winner which BB want!

Yeah. If it hadn't of been for his annoying romance with Faye, Aaron probably would have gone by now.

I think Aarons biggest fail was getting into a relationship with faye. She made him look bad in every way and her family helped too.
If he would of just stuck to himself and gone against the group i think he would of sailed through to win easy

In response to thesheriff - its certainly far from just the female vote Aaron is getting. One of his biggest fans on here is male and the male voters see him as a hero. :)

Disagree..Shaaron has shown us very little. What does he do? he is very quiet and doesn't interact enough unless he's doing his poor me act in the diary room.

Great post!

One has only got to think of how much Aaron was talked about since Day 1 of BB2011 and has continued to be centre of debate until the bitter end.

Not only on the outside have people gone to the point of obsessing about him - whether it be a good or bad obsession - but no-one I can remember has had so many HMs inside the house being totally obsessed with him:

Rebeckah - day 1 she had her sights set on him but went about it in the wrong way and resulted in repulsing Aaron with her stories of men P'ing on her rather than winning Aaron over with her body and beauty.

Tom - Aaron was dared to kiss him which he did, since then Tom became obsessed and a love hate relationship began. They were the best of friends at times and they were the worst of friends at times - in never ended and went on until the bitter end and probably will continue.

Anton - The man with the plan *snigger* who became fixated and obsessed with Aaron when Aaron without any effort continously outwitted, outplayed and outlasted the snake. In fact Anton so was obsessed that he actually really started to lose it and people inside and outside the house started to get worried - in stepped BB and to the crypt he was sent to calm himself down only to be booted out the doors and declaring a total defeat by Lord Aaron.

Faye - Dear Faye who although emotionally immature and who hit a few bumps on her BB journey fell head over heels in love with our gorgeous Aaron and has vowed to make a go of it outside the house - and who can blame her!

Jem - the wicket witch of the BB house became obsessed with Aaron within a few days of entering the house (and possibly before) and turned into the female Anton. Was it jealousy of her sister or was it because Aaron didn't feel the need to bow down to her or suck up to her. Whatever the case Jem's whole life in the house revolved in her being obsessed and trying to bring down the Lord - with failure the only result!

Harry - became Aaron's friend and confidant in the house but when he was let out, became obsessed in back stabbing Aaron. What was it jealousy? Or the fact that once again Aaron had outwitted, outplayed and outlasted not only a HM but one of the most intelligent and intellectual members in the house.

Louise - the dead normal girl (really?), who deep down I believe wished it was Aaron's bed she was sharing and not Jays. She hid her obsession, along with her desire to win BB, well during her early days but the cracks of her Aaron obsession have started to show through now. She is simply flummoxed as to why Aaron just isn't as obsessed with her and her beauty as she is with him. Oh dear poppet!

Jay - and lastly the big BB thug. Possibly the most obsessed with Aaron since he realised just how popular on the outside Aaron had become. Another one who thought he could outwit, outnumber and outlast Aaron but with a couple of weeks left until the end realised he was too strong, too intelligent and too unique. In fact, Jay is so obsessed with Aaron and admires him so much that he will do anything to become his friend - even if that means losing the game because he just can't keep it together anymore. I believe his Aaron obsession will continue to haunt Jay for years to come!

90% of what you post is about Aaron, so I think you've got a 'thing' about him.

The OP is an excellent summary.

I do, I think he's been brilliant in BB this year! This thread is about why he's been great in the show. But why are you obsessed with him?
