I keep seeing people say that Alex has no forum/online support.

Then how come she is 2nd in all of the polls, including here and her fan thread here is the 2nd most viewed behind Aaron's?


Both her and Aaron are miles ahead of the others in both polls and fanclubs, so clearly she has a lot of support.

Its because its more than its worth on here to declare support for anyone because of the childish attacks that you come under from some Aaron devotees (some from people that should know better) some of the vitriol stemming from them is absolutely pathetic.
Its easier to not bother posting for anybody that supports anyone else.

You are right Niamh there are a lot probably the majority that are sensible enough to live and let live that are bright enough to realise that everybody is different and everybody has their own favourite and that dont feel the need to try and slate everything and everyone that doesnt show their own favourite in a favourable light but there are also far too many that display the primitive behaviour of blindly defending their house favourite with complete disregard for anybody elses opinion and for the show itself.
It has made the forum unuseable for a lot of people this year in my opinion and seemingly for a lot of people as this is the quietest i have ever seen this place during a series of BB .

Tbf though I think the biggest reason this forum is quieter than usual is that alot of people stopped watching BB after C4 dropped it. But I take your points :hugesmile:

That's why I think game players and controversial characters are more popular here than in real life. I reckon the average viewer is just looking for a bit of light entertainment and that's why Alex is the favourite on the bookies.

There are far too many small minded people that have no respect for the show itself one of them even put an idiotic baiting post on my profile wall so i just deleted it i pity people that are that tiny minded so i just deleted it and didnt sink to their level and report it even though she has done that to me.
I feel sorry for people like that bless them.

To be fair here, a lot of posts I have noticed this year have been nothing but **** is a ****ing **** and I ****ing hate him, he's nothing but a **** **** **** those kind of posts in my honest opinion add nothing of value to the discussions and are too extreme, and fans of those housemates will then post more extreme replies in return. :)

I agree with everything you say..the forum has been a lot more aggresive this year towards members..I actually like both Aaron and Alex, for completely different reasons but I've found I haven't really felt like joining even the 'positive' threads about one of these sometimes because if any non fans post their opinion, some of the fans reactions are too extreme...it's not everyone I know, but it hasn't been rare either..I'll be relieved when it's over this year and I've never felt that way before
