To be fair, Nick can't really devulge can he, the next best thing he can do is state he knows and give a hint as to it being bad enough that Jay shouldn't have gone so far on BB, probably why he says 'he hopes' it comes out soon. Given the interest it caused on forums when Jay was kicked off Katie Price's show, many will still be interested to know, I know I will, curiosity getting the better of me. I hope we find out soonish.

Maybe that was why BB was pushing so hard for him to win, which didn't happen thankfully, as they might have had plenty of scope for their associated mags and rags to build on with Jay stuff? probably the sort of stuff they love for their mags and rags. I thought the pushing from the likes, of what a nice lad Jay is and a softie at heart was a bit contrived/weird at times.

Jay's Mum or his management team / PR team. you are correct Suze, it's hardly uncommon: and I was under the impression that that was common knowledge really.

It's the same as a post on Tibb that has been removed: and being told 'prove it or it didn't happen'. You cannot prove it unless it's been cached or a hard copy has been taken.

Just bringing this to the forefront: seeing as there is evidence here of an actual Jay fan 'confirming' his criminal past. If there was no truth to it, I see no reason why a Jay fan would put such a thing up -unless they were attempting to diffuse and dilute it as not making 'a HUGE difference'.

Actually, the issue is that some on here flatly refused to accept that Jay has a criminal record, and refused to accept other fums stating this to be the case. The issue was not surrounding what the crime was, or the severity of the crime: but that Jay has a criminal record - full stop.

If a poster is accusing someone of being a liar - because they have read something online that has subsequently been removed and they no now longer have access to it (whic we all KNOW happens all too often) - and the accusing fm fails to even acknowledge that - I'd say that was pretty insulting.

Whether MTVN is infracted or not is not my decision. This isn't a convo that I think should be taking place here either....but am doing so simply because you appear comfortable with it taking place on the forum.

I thought it was common knowledge that Jay had a criminal record he aquired taking the blame for something his ex-girlfriend had done, criminal damage in a pub if I rememebr rightly, from when it was orginally reported as the reason he was asked to leave Katie Price's show as he'd originally said he had no record. This was subsequently blamed on his dyslexia by his mum in a post she made on Twitter or Facebook. I don't have a link for this, but why would I make up such a story?

I might accept that it is what it is, a scrape that got out of control, ended up with Police involvement maybe, leading to a then Police record? and so it seems to follow Jay took the blame for for his then girlfriend if links and comments are true? But Nick alluded to it being enough that Jay should not have gone so far in BB, etc;? So I am still baffled as to if there is more to the story than might be being stated? My curiosity is in overdrive on this now :D I would love for the absolute truth of the matter to be revealed/come to light, and hopefully soon :D

Actually, the issue is that some on here flatly refused to accept that Jay has a criminal record, and refused to accept other fums stating this to be the case. The issue was not surrounding what the crime was, or the severity of the crime: but that Jay has a criminal record - full stop.

I neither referred to you specifically, nor did I say you - or indeed any other person denied anything. I did not infer that either.

IIRC, Niahm shared the view that it was fair comment to be asked to provide proof of what was being discussed. Now that others are confirming such info, and the whereabout, and links to it, I'm unclear as to why you are not addressing those links - as you were one who asked for some form of evidence, did you not?

I suspect there's nothing more to the story than what's been stated, and "Nasty" Nick is just stirring it for kicks. What might be worth finding out though, is if having a criminal record of any kind would barr you from entering Big Brother. Is there an application form of any kind available that might have terms and conditions on it?
