Thanks so much for the Emma Chawner video. It is a gem. I think it was a pity that they ditched the low key first auditions. It was too much too soon in terms of hype altogether. All this year's acts were over-hyped in my view especially the boys by Gary, Frankie Cocozza was just ridiculous. I except Little Mix and Amelia Lily.

Going back to Rachel/Diana, I think both were really strong during the earlier rounds but are classic examples of 'death by mentoring'. Dannii and Cheryl completely ruined them both and had no clue what to do. Its obvious the judges felt that too so probably thought they owed them something and gave them better comments than they should have got.

I have only seen a few series of X Factor, but I am in utter disbelief that Matt Cardle could even win the public vote on any given week, let alone win. His voice is just...straight up...BAD! I get that he got the teenybopper vote but seriously, he mangled quite a few songs and has a weak voice all around. Rebecca Ferguson or Mary Byrne should've won that series.

I was also very underwhelmed by Joe's win, Olly should have won it IMO.
