I cba with writing stuff so let's just get the rules busted out.

RULES
- No biting
- No petting
- No bombing
- No cheating. Srsly. If I catch one person cheating - that means asking anyone outside of your team for help - the whole game's off.
- You have 48 HOURS from this post to answer as many of the questions as possible.
- You must PM me your final list of answers before this deadline. It doesn't matter who sends the PM, as long as it's someone on your team.

Okay, those are the general rules. Now for the round-based rules.

- To get a point in the quiz you must simply identify BOTH the recording artist, and the song title.
- It doesn't matter which order you identify the songs in.

- Several teams have also provided the answer "Don't You (Forget About Me)" by Simple Minds for the song at 3:25-3:30. This is an incorrect answer - the correct answer DOES sample this song, though.

With regards to the Simple minds track - the sample used, only uses Simple Minds music, there is no alternative beat over it, so to say it's wrong is incorrect.

It's fine, really. Because I'm quite certain that that was the only round that could be feasibly cheated.

The images for the next four rounds are all stills from YouTube videos. It's incredibly unlikely that anyone will have frozen the videos at the exact same time as me - and incredibly more unlikely that they'll have made the images my exact resolution. So it's impossible to Google them.

That said, the TV and Film rounds are relatively easy :tongue: I'd expect most teams to get at least half right. The music video and sport rounds however... I think I've made them too difficult. I was looking through the MV stills the other day and even I couldn't remember some of them.

Anyway, your films...

Fair point. However it is also to instil a feeling of satisfaction into the teams who definitely didn't cheat but got no where near the amount of points.

But it does also let any subsequent rounds/games of the pub quiz be reevaluated. Shaun is clever with the picture rounds already but the music rounds are just too easy to cheat on.

Fair enough. Although there is a reason they don't allow text books into exams. I didn't realise we were allowed to use outside sources. I thought it was a quiz not a 2 day research project. This is a test of searching stamina rather than knowledge.

Puts them in a bad position as everyone is bound to call them cheats, its an instinctive reaction and I thought it myself. BUT - let's just get on with the game, give the benefit of the doubt, chill, enjoy it, and make it worth the effort that has been put into it. The music round was fun, drove me a bit loopier than I was before. It's nice to win, I'd be chuffed if my team did, but its not the be all and end all. Well done everyone so far. :)
