Azealia Banks has confirmed she worked on a song for Lady Gaga’s upcoming new album ‘ARTPOP’ but says she has no idea if it will make the final tracklisting for the ‘Born This Way’ singer’s third record.

The ‘212’ rapper revealed on the red carpet at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards 2012 yesterday (4th September) in London that she has recorded with Gaga, and is hopeful their track will be included on ‘ARTPOP’ when the record is released, being expected in early 2013.

Even though she's been spending a lot of time in Los Angeles and the UK lately, Azealia Banks chose her hometown of New York as the backdrop for the new Clarence Fuller-directed video for "Luxury", a Machinedrum-produced track from her Fantasea mixtape. Azealia Banks pulled her new single 'Esta Noche' on the day of release this week (September 25) after its producer blasted her on Twitter, claiming she didn't have permission to use the track.

The track, which Banks raps over and originally featured on her free 'Fantasea' mixtape, was by Rotterdam-based producer Munchi - who has also worked with MIA. It was due to be released as a single yesterday.

However, this was scuppered after Munchi took to Twitter to claim the track had been prepped for release without his permission – and also claimed he was offered $25,000 and then $50,000 and a public apology in exchange for his cooperation, which he appears to have rejected in no uncertain terms in a string of tweets:

"No releasing my track, being a spoiled brat, releasing coverwork, release dates before even reaching out is a good look right?" he wrote. "Tell your camp the deal is off I don’t want your ****ing $25.000. **** off. Go be a puppet bitch to someone else."

Banks - also never one to mince her words retaliated with: "K so Esta Noche won’t be being released today because @originalmunchi thinks I’m in the illuminati… I’m being very serious right now. I’m cracking up right now… This is a first." She added: "I’m still shooting the esta noche video tomorrow . *kanye shrug*"

Munchi later made his case in full on his Facebook page, claiming that he was "disrespected" and that her label "thought it was ok to just give me a sum of money for my integrity." He added: "Each time they told me something and put out something that was not discussed. In the end trying to blame me for something she put up in error by stating that this release could not be out today since I think she is in the Illuminati (thirsty for fame and success by portraying occult references in every step you take is not something I want to affiliate with. Even less because it is a hype nowadays, it's ****ing music yo)".

Banks aimed a homophobic slur at Hilton after he criticised her feud with rapper Angel Haze, calling him a "f*ggot".

Since birth? She announced it ages ago. That's not the point I am making, you're twisting the situation and it doesn't compare because there aren't any black men famous for being horrible to celebrities and who play off their black background for attention, nor can you out people for being secretly black. Azealia Banks has revealed details of her new single.

Titled 'Yung Rapunxel', the track will be released on February 12. It will serve as the lead single from the rapper's debut album 'Broke With Expensive Taste', which is due for release this Spring.

Taking to Twitter this morning (January 28), Banks teased "BIG CHANGE OF PLANS".

Banks then posted that 'Yung Rapunxel' "will be released February 12, 2013" and re-tweeted a tweet from the @Azealianews fan account describing the track as "the lead single from @AZEALIABANKS debut album".

To the surprise of absolutely no one, Azealia Banks is embroiled in another Twitter meltdown.

This one was spurred by Baauer, the Brooklyn producer behind the ubiquitous "Harlem Shake". It started yesterday, when Banks posted a track of her rapping over the viral hit.

After Banks' version was pulled from Soundcloud, Banks tweeted at Baauer, "why you coccblockin tho??? Lmaoooooo." He replied, "cause its not ur song lol." In typical Twitter fashion, things devolved from there, rather quickly.

Banks shot back, "you're a pussy. You don't belong in hip-hop." Then-- on the heels of her controversial tirade against Perez Hilton-- called Baauer a "fag.got" (or more precisely: a "faggoot.")

Because everything is the worst, Hilton himself then chimed in ("Classy as always! How does it feel to be better known for all your trash-talking than your music, Azealia? #TeamBauuer"), prompting Banks to call him a "fag.got" (more precisely: an "evil fag.got") once again. This was right after asking Hilton-- rather illogically, when you really break it down-- what her pussy tastes like.

Finally, Banks tweeted, "You give me free speech and then tell me what I can and cannot say??? Lets just all agree to disagree. We are all entitled to our own truths. :)". Then she posted an updated link of her "Harlem Shake" track.

In other news that seems to become more ominous every day, Banks' forthcoming debut Broke With Expensive Taste-- originally slated for February 12-- still doesn't have a release date. Also, "Harlem Shake" seems unstoppable right now-- it's currently #2 on iTunes.

If Jay or Kanye for example remixed it, then he would of saw it as a great look for him etc as that is even MORE exposure. Azealia Banks has taken to Twitter to wish "death" on the Stone Roses.

The '212' rapper, who has become embroiled in online feuds with Angel Haze and Perez Hilton in recent months, posted a series of messages accusing the band of trying to interfere with her set yesterday (March 8).

Banks was appearing at the Future Music Festival and claimed that the Stone Roses had deliberately sound checked as she played to the crowd.

She wrote: "Big apologies on behalf of the stone roses to my fans at the festival today.(sic)
