I used to love ANTM but i just can't be doing with the show lately! Having guys on there just defeats the object of the show and Tyra Banks is just such an egomaniac!

As with most shows these days, the Australian version is superior in every way! The girls on the Aussie version are amazing compared to the American ones. There's rarely a girl on the American show who looks like she could actually be a successful model whereas most of the Australian girls could get work all day long!
The only girl i really loved from the American show was Allison Harvard. Allison's a Goddess!!!!!:love:

An "America's Next Top Model" contestant says producers snatched her crown AFTER she won it fair and square, because they found out ... she used to be an escort.

Angelea Preston says things started to go South right before she taped the finale of the All-Star season in 2011. According to a lawsuit she's filing ... Preston told producers, confidentially, prior to filming the season she had been an escort for about a year -- and that spread like wildfire to the rest of the cast and crew.

After the finale was taped -- and Preston had won the grand prize -- she says a casting director called and grilled her about the whole escort business. In the suit, Preston says she admitted it, but insists she was a legal escort and not a prostitute. Despite this, Preston was told she had violated her contract and could not be the winner.

Preston says her pay-for-play days were well behind her when she shot the All-Star season, so therefore she did NOT break the contract. She says losing the title cost her a bunch of Vogue spreads, and a $100,000 CoverGirl deal.

She's suing producers, networks, and studios for breach of contract and says she suffered at least $3 million in damages.

BONUS FACT: In the suit, Preston says the models worked in torturous conditions -- like being denied food and water for 10 hours. Yes, a model is complaining about NOT eating.

She has been booking modelling AND acting jobs non-stop since filming ended. She has become international in Japan and is all over the billboards there, and is non stop booking ad campaigns as well as music video shoots. Renee from Cycle 8 has been sentenced to 12 years in jail

A 28-year-old former "America's Next Top Model" finalist pleaded guilty Wednesday to several criminal charges, including break-ins at several Palm Springs residences, and was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Renee Diane Alway pleaded guilty to four burglary counts and one count each of vehicle theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm -- all felonies -- and a misdemeanor count of identity theft for crimes she committed last year in the Palm Springs area.

Alway, who finished in the top three of Cycle 8 of "Top Model," which aired in 2007, admitted burglarizing residences on Calle Tranquillo, Tanger Court, Juanita Drive and Toledo Avenue between June 21-26, 2013.

She also admitted to stealing a 2001 Mercedes-Benz CL600 sedan with Minnesota license plates, having a .22-caliber semi-automatic handgun, and stealing a woman's personal information, according to court documents.

Alway, who's been in custody in lieu of $150,000 bail since her arrest last year, was also ordered to pay more than $58,000 in restitution to the victims.

More than a dozen other counts, including receiving stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a forged check and resisting an officer, were dismissed under the plea agreement.

Alway was arrested on June 28, 2013, after someone reported a "suspicious female" in the area and arriving officers found an open back door at a residence in the 600 block of Violeta Drive in Palm Springs.

Officers found Alway hiding in the garage of the home, according to Palm Springs police Sgt. Harvey Reed, who said the residents were out of the country at the time.

Mirjana Puhar -- a recent "America's Next Top Model" contestant -- was killed Tuesday in a triple homicide at her boyfriend's home in Charlotte, NC ... TMZ has learned.

A source who was very close to Mirjana confirmed to TMZ that she was one of the 3 victims found dead in a home that belonged to Mirjana's boyfriend. The source says a friend of the couple went to the house after getting a call that gunshots were heard.

We're told the friend went into the house, saw 2 bodies -- Mirjana and the bf -- and then called police to report the killings. The friend didn't see the 3rd victim, but did see money scattered around the house.

19-year-old Mirjana was on the 21st cycle of 'ANTM' ... which aired last year. She was eliminated from the show in the 10th episode.

Law enforcement sources tell us the preliminary investigation leads police to believe the murders were drug related -- and the victims knew the killer.

Our Mirjana source says the young model had only been with the boyfriend for a few months.

I think Will is one of the WORST contestants ANTM has ever had, he was an attention seeking, self obsessed, judgemental dick head who was totally over sold to the audience.

• He went ON and ON about his sexuality endlessly but if another contestant mentioned it he would fein upset and say his sexuality was his own and nobody should talk about it. He used his sexuality continually all season as a way to get sympathy instead of being proud.

• His pictures were always mediocre, even when he produced a good photo it was always because of the photographers timing and never him owning a shoot.

I think Will is one of the WORST contestants ANTM has ever had, he was an attention seeking, self obsessed, judgemental dick head who was totally over sold to the audience.

• He went ON and ON about his sexuality endlessly but if another contestant mentioned it he would fein upset and say his sexuality was his own and nobody should talk about it. He used his sexuality continually all season as a way to get sympathy instead of being proud.

• His pictures were always mediocre, even when he produced a good photo it was always because of the photographers timing and never him owning a shoot.

Yep will is truly awful. Pretty sure he set up a site after the show where you can pay for some of his items like the heels he wore on the show, pay for a signed autograph of his face, or there was a ridiculously overpriced option of paying for a date with Will :joker:

Also the treatment of Chantelle is the worst in ANTM history tbh, not only by the contestants but by Yu Tsai as well, calling her a Panda when she asked him not to, then saying she needs to learn to shut up and let the higher up people call her what they want. Also that scene of her crying in the hallway is honestly the worst thing I've ever seen on ANTM, along with Clark and Hannah's transphobia against Isis.

So glad to see Chantelle is really successful now, one of the most successful contestants ever <3

I remember that site, yeah the boots were up for sale as was his pride headband. I saw it through his twitter while the show was airing - he was selling dates with him? LMFAO who would pay to listen to him talk about himself for hours? he was horrible, I liked him at first but his inconsistent behaviour drove me insane and most of the others defending him all the damn time pissed me off so much, Raelia should be ashamed of standing up for him when he was one of the biggest bitches in there - all he did was drag Adam for drinking, Chantelle for breathing and Lenix for being boring.

The fact the show tried to make him a hero figure repulsed me.

Yu Tsai was awful with Chantelle, she made a perfectly valid point, calling a girl with her condition a Panda was unprofessional on his part, once she told him he should have said sorry and moved on not try and humiliate her like he did - it really irked me Tyra stood up for him.

I agree Chantelle was treated awfully, the episode she had to flee the hotel because the others were attacking her was so uncomfortable, Keith handled it awfully and should have taken her aside instead of confronting her infront of the mob.

‘America’s Next Top Model’ To Live On? Show Eyes New Season On Cable Or SVOD

America’s Next Top Model’s current 22nd cycle may not be its final runway bow. While the reality veteran is ending its run on the CW with a series finale on Dec. 4, I hear there is a possibility for a 23rd cycle elsewhere. I’ve learned that a new Top Model installment is currently being pitched to cable and streaming outlets. It is being shepherded by Top Model executive producer/showrunner Ken Mok. I hear the potential reboot is being done with co-creator/star Tyra Banks’ support. She is expected to continue as an executive producer, should Top Model find a new home. Her potential on-screen involvement is unclear at this time. (“I truly believe it’s time,” she wrote in reaction to the announcement of the show’s end on the CW last month.)

I hear the idea for a new Top Model installment came out of incoming interest the series’ producers fielded following the Oct. 14 series finale announcement by the CW. Top Model is a rare reality series with strong repeatability. It has done well in its off-network runs on cable networks VH1, Bravo and Oxygen. Additionally, because of its serialized nature, it also has fared well on the top streaming platforms, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon. With incoming calls from cable and streaming players inquiring about new episodes, Mok started working on a pitch. I hear he is making formal presentations to potential buyers this week, joined by Scott Koondel, who oversees licensing to cable and domestic SVOD for CBS. (CBS TV Distribution is distributing Top Model, which originated on CBS-owned UPN)


Top Model premiered May 20, 2003 on UPN, and was the first series to debut on The CW on Sept 20, 2006. Top Model, which is slated for a retrospective special on the CW next year, has been the most successful reality series on the network and the longest-running series currently on the CW. Additionally, it launched a very successful format that has been produced in over 30 countries.

I've just seen episode 12 of cycle 22 and I'm so raging Hadassah always had bad photos chosen for her bar 1 or 2 weeks I feel the producers and Tyra constantly tried to get her out and she had one of the best photos this week
She'll go down as an ANTM queen in my heart forever I loved her and her growth so much she deserved final 3 over Mikey and Devon
