Derek Branning single-handedly saving Eastenders

Most of you don't like him but that is pretty much the whole point of his character, but you can't deny that since he has took centre stage over the last 2 weeks the show has become a lot better.

With the help of three other legends Michael, Tyler and Anthony we are finally getting back to the good old days.

I do think JF can act and has played lots of baddie roles before but he has chosen to play Derek a certain way.

It got 8 million + viewers before he was even in it so that makes no sense. Just look at Twitter and you'll see that most people hate him and want him gone. He is an unlikeable horrid vile character.

Alot of lads in school have started watching EE now, purely because of Derek because he's a legend.

He must stay. Sack the other actors, get more characters on the show like him and the show will be great once again.

It lost for the first time in years at the NTAs, it will probably get beat for the first time in God knows how long at the BSAs this year aswelll - the show has went downhill big time because they focussed far too much on Syed and Chirstian, The Muslim Family and Carol Jackson's life.

People want Derek, they want things like this - so you and your little twitter army of warriors who would rather watch Tamwar play Monopoly better learn to deal with the fact Derek is going to be running things from now on... or until Kirkwood makes a mistake and sacks him.

I havn't watched EE properly for about a year but I saw him on it the other day and just found him a loud and 1 dimentional character ..they can't do anything with him because its all been done before. This is why EE is so crap nowadays, they're getting rid of good characters and keep bringing in strange new characters from the same families who have never been mentioned or even seen before :bored:
