Bad boy Terry Duckworth will open a lap dancing club when he returns to Coronation Street.
Bosses hope the storyline could see late-night escapades in Weatherfield after Rovers bar staff call time.
A Corrie source said: “Can you imagine the impact the place will have on the more elderly characters in the street?”
Terry, played by Nigel Pivaro, 52, will also be reunited with son Tommy, played by Chris Fountain.
Producer Phil Collinson hinted Terry’s return would send shockwaves through the community.
He said: “This time he’ll not only be blighting the life of Tommy, but the lives of everyone with a typically audacious scheme.”
Nigel will start filming this month, appearing on screen in April.
He said: “The show has changed, so will present Terry with a different landscape to before.”
