Which is the better drinking establishment?
Rovers

Rovers, Bistro is too upmarket, nice big telly in the Rovers now as well

I prefer the Bistro myself, there's more room and its less likely that someone is listening in :P
That second picture does actually make the Rovers look really small, would just be cosier I think lol

I can imagine the food being better in Nick's Bistro too, especially since Betty is no longer at the Rovers

I really like quiet country pubs anyway so for me although I would enjoy myself at Nicks bistro too, the Rovers would be nearer to the type of place I like going out to.

I like Nick's Bistro, but could never choose anything other than the Rovers.
Niamh.

I prefer the Bistro atm, I'm not a fan of Stella and Karl running the Rovers
Scarlett.

I love that the Platt family have got a proper buisness place on the street, NuNick has really grown into the Nick Tilsley role too, I can't see anyone else as him now
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 10:52 AM
Yes, I'm warming to the Platts now too, I hated the new Nick at the beginning. Also, I've warmed alot to David and Kylie
Scarlett.

Gail is fantastic in there too, so glad her misery days are long gone. I loved it when Nick revealed she accidentally served the Gazette reviewer her fingernail xD
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 11:05 AM
haha, yeah, she's definitely better playing a lighter dippy Gail rather than the old misery guts she used to be!
Scarlett.
07-03-2012, 11:08 AM
Lewis is great in there, he adds a touch of class. :D
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 11:09 AM
hhmmm, not sure about Lewis yet, I have my eye on him :suspect:
Scarlett.
07-03-2012, 11:10 AM
I don't want to believe he's back to con again, but you never know with Lewis!
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 11:12 AM
I don't know, they're going to be lacking some villains now Frank is out of the picture
Scarlett.
07-03-2012, 11:15 AM
True, though Nick's new neighbour, Seventh Heaven looks to become the den of evil xD
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 11:19 AM
Oh, has that been in it yet? I don't who you're talking about
Scarlett.
07-03-2012, 11:21 AM
Not yet, there's another thread with the pic in, when you see it you'll work out who's place it will be :P
Niamh.
07-03-2012, 11:28 AM
Oh, I'll go have a look for that, sounds interesting. The frank story was so good, they need to think of something good to replace it
Scarlett.

Another reason I prefer Nick's Bistro
Rovers staff
Stella - Listens in on your conversations and constantly invites you behind the bar
Tina - Always sour faced, doesnt mind throwing drinks at punters
Karl - He seems an alright guy probably the only one
Bistro staff
Nick - Confident owner, doesn't listen in on what your saying
Eva - Nice barmaid (but not overly nice like her mum)
Gail - Loveable "Manuel" style waitress xD
Lewis - Suave sophisticated charmer
xD
Niamh.

haha loving the Gail/Manuel comparison

Rovers has a juke box. Would be a good lock in.

Maybe in Liz McDonald's days, Stella would likely sit you in the corner and tell you how to live your life
