..well seeing as there isn't a Bowie song left (disgusting)...Imagine had better win..there isn't another song up there which should be in the top 12..and 3 by Prince..what the heck...he was good but no way deserves that...I'm going to demand a stewart's enquiry..somethings not quite right here..
..anything other than Imagine..then..well..there'll be action taken
..poor Shaun must be having a breakdown..after all this effort..how could you all do this to him... no wonder he's always in a bad mood...I'm going to put this bit in bold..it's that serious

Edit:..oh LOL Shaun..you put Joy division first..you bloody idiot

Nothing out of the Top 10 - something like Toto - Africa, or Easy Lover by Phil Collins. Not even sure, There's alot to chose from, I just don't think that song was a worthy winner.

Pendulum aren't even chavy - so I don't get the need to write like that, and as a matter of fact I'd of chosen a good 80's song of Pendulum anyday.

:laugh2: If Easy Lover looked like it would have topped the poll I think I would have stopped voting a long time ago. "puts on System Addict by Fivestar".

Has anybody got The Reynolds Girls on mp3 they can share?

Oh my Five Star, I remember them haha

I just compiled a list of 120 songs for the 70s, lmao, and this one (for me) is even harder. We're into Beatles, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, the Who and Elton John territory.

and then there's Bowie's best :bawling: maybe it would be unwise to do this

Can we indulge in Roxy Music, The Sparks, early Blondie, David Bowie and The Village People all in one thread?

Shaun

:laugh2: I was going to, but since it's been in the 80s now, I opted against it

I think it's a great song. Annie Lennox is beautiful.

I ♥ your music competitions Shaun, but they make me have a mental breakdown...the songs I love nearly all get knocked out in the 3rd or 2nd to last round

There are a lot of smashed plates in the Bollo household today..

But I am really looking forward to the next one ( Just may reserve a space in the local pyschiatric ward for the fallout)

It's not my favourite song of the 80s but I think 'Sweet Dreams' is an excellent song and a pretty worthy winner. :spin2:

..yes it's a good song..and the Eurythmics produced some excellent music..
..music tastes are so diverse..I think in the end it kind of comes down to a 'compromise'..and I think this is one of the best
