Ever wondered if you'd have good powers of political persuasion? Think you'd have made/make an excellent Member of Parliament if the chance arose. Well, for a bit of fun....here's a chance to see if you do have what it takes.

Rules (in the loosest sense of the word, nothing too stringent :p)

You can't nominate yourself, someone else must put your name forward BUT they have to get your permission in here before you are a contender :)

Then when we have a list of 8 (I like that number) proposed candidates, people need to support them by posting in here, you may only support one candidate btw. Please pick someone you feel has the necessary qualities for such a role.

When a candidate has 8 supporters they qualify for the General Election.Only 5 can qualify for this.

The 5 candidates will then appoint a Campaign Manager from their team of 8 supporters and shall come up with a campaign speech explaining why they should be elected to become Tibb's MP and what they have to offer. The rest of the supporters can promote their chosen candidate in any way they think will pull in the votes.

The Campaign speeches will be posted and a forum vote will take place. This is not a game as such, just fun, and will probably all be over in two to three days depending on how quick the candidates are nominated :)

Well.....suggestions please. I've got a couple of candidates in mind, I'll wait to see if anyone else proposes them first :D
