Thanks everyone for your good wishes. Me and Matt are going to Menorca on Friday for two weeks. Can't wait. Will miss you all and will think of you often (especially when I'm sat on my balcony drinking a bottle of San Miguel!).

Technically, summer is not over until Sunday 28th October, when the clocks go back and we revert back to Greenwich Mean Time :nono:

P.S.

It's better than where my son teaches in Manchester....
All teaching staff and classroom assistants are spending 2 days [1night] in an hotel for :

Staff Bonding

Activities to include hill walking !

He is NOT impressed. Then into school with children the next day. He would much rather spend the time preparing at school as would the others !!

Their's is not to reason why ....etc. :nono:
