the first thing everyone needs to do is understand one simple point, more guns in the system , do not make you safer, they make you much more endangered and thousands more innocent people will die, that is a tragic fact that will get worse and worse the more guns we see and the more hype and hysteria we see spouted on news channel allowed to lie such as fox news (which is banned in some nations like canada where gun crime is tiny compared to usa)

in england 39 people were shot dead last year, in america it was 8775

the national rifle association are mega powerful and make billions, time for obama to win the election then have an unarmed showdown once and for all with these crazy money grabbing gun slinging zealaots.

Increasing gun control won't fully solve the problem, you could even say it'd make it worse because the sort of people who will use them for murderous purposes will still find ways to get them (as they did in Norway, Toulouse etc.) but those who are actually law abiding and carry guns for any number of reasons won't be able to get them. Anyway it's unrealistic to expect America to Europeanise it's gun laws, I think often western Europeans take quite a snobbish attitude to Americans as if we've got the gun problem all figured out but they're too stupid to realise but we should recognise that we have a very different attitude to firearms than a lot of Americans do, and we can't always apply the same standards

the vast majority of pedophillia and rape happens inside yur own home. Most children are molested by their own family members or people close to the family. And families hide it and protect the offenders.

the population isnt the issue, america has the highest rate per person of deaths by gunshot in the entire developed world, its rate is over 40 times higher than the UK? so for example if in uk where theres 60 million then 40 people get shot dead last year, in the US theres 300 million people and 8775 are shot dead. so the american population is only 5 times the Uk but the number murdered by guns is 220 times as many as the british?

A total ban on guns is unrealistic but I'd definitely welcome a more strict form of Gun Control as the laws seem quite flimsy. There should be more checks involved in getting a gun. We banned handguns in the UK soon after Dunblane. Now sportsmen and women in this country cannot carry out their sport because of the ban and if they do it seriously they have to practise abroad. True but at least we're not afraid to go to the Cinema incase we get gunned down in this country, I know it's only one case but no other country has ever had a case like that before.

It's ashame though because America has loads of great stuff that I would want to see but there's to many psychopaths in the country.
