How did Marcus come second?

I was just thinking about it, all the talent last year with Little Mix, Amelia, Misha, Janet, arguably Craig, Kitty, The Risk and Sophie and then MARCUS comes second?!?!??!? How? He was absolutely dreadful but I just ignored him at the time because Little Mix were still in and i :love: them, but reflecting on the series, how did he come 2nd? He deserved to go out week 3 or 4 lul! His performance in the final with Hey Ya was diabolically bad as well. Should've been Misha or Janet there instead.

Misha B, like her or hate her, was very talented and deserved at least the final 3. Janet was talented too but I couldnt stand her so i'm glad she left :laugh:

I remember in the final, his amazing sob story "When I was younger.... I had to walk too school" with emotional background music and a gently crying Marcus. :laugh2:

i liked him and thought he could've been great but the songs he was given were awful and i agree about hey-ya on the final ,that was just crazy stupid but i blame gary barlow and/or producers for all that -it was obvious they didn't want another male/flop winner -his audition was great but his song choices were bizarre most of the time and gary barlow was an awful mentor as was kelly rowland who had the strongest category and messed up spectacuraly.

He was average at best compared to some of the other contestants. It was probably all his none stop "I'm just a normal lad from Liverpool" "I'm doing it to make my mum proud" bollocks helping him get votes. Atleast he's flopped now.

God knows, it was a terrible final in the end. His rendition of Hey Ya was by a mile the worst ever performance in an XF final. :rolleyes:

I wanted to hate Kitty because I heard she was meant to be like Katie Waissel, but Kitty is leagues above Katie in quality.:dance:
