I will be disappointed if it is Max because there is still the storylines coming up where we find out about what he did in Manchester because Derek is threatening him and the one in the lead up to Tanya's temporary exit.

I don't think its Max as he has another big storyline coming up about what he got up to in Manchester which they're starting to slowly bring in ie when he was stood outside that flat with all that money. I don't think it's Jack because the man has meant to have fallen in love with Kat but he has loads of women on the go hence when Roxy was staying with him she said she'd had breakfast with two different women that week already. Which leaves Derek. Eurgh!

No wonder I don't watch this ****. It was enough having to sit through that episode the other week round someone elses house, and thinking what a load of old cobblers. It sure is, but there again, I expect that soaps are meant to verge on the ridiculous, as it is the really far fetched storylines that draw audiences in. It's just that Eastenders just goes beyond the ridiculous many a times, even for a soap. And that along with some pretty dire acting from a lot of the cast is what puts me off Eastenders so much.

So far from Enders at its best it was laughable.

Jessie's acting was atrocious and she's capable of far better. The bit where she pointed at Derek and named him was so bad. I laughed my head off. Derek's cocky reaction in lighting up a cigar and looking smug was gold though and redeemed the scene somewhat :D

The plotlines had holes you could drive a double decker bus through. The tenancy agreement lying on the bedside table oh so conveniently. Kat ringing Max's mobile was a weak and crappy attempt at a final twist. Fell totally flat. Tanya standing calmly in the background shaking her head as Alfie accused Max was utter bollocks, she'd have had him by the throat at the very least, remember this woman once buried Max alive!

Eastenders really is going downhill I'm so sad to say. It needs a massive kick up the arse.

I hope they don't put Alfie and Kat back together again after all this. It's run its course.

I actually thought the episode was quite good for a soap...it was predictable but aren't they all? I actually gasped then giggled when Alfie said "shagging" and "shag pad" like I was 12!!! Wonder how many Ofcom complaints they get for it???

Derek is so twisted and a master manipulator... I agree with kate they could have made this twist so much more interesting.
All actors are capable of great performances the writing was worse than lazy for the build up to this storyline...
Sexual blackmail is maybe a dark topic for a soap but it would have made so much more sense.
Having said that derek convincing himself that kat really is in love with him and maybe him sliding further from reality could work?....

Same, it was just plain cruel having him taunt Pat in her deathbed at the start but now it's very entertaining watching him wreak havoc over all others lives.
