Prospect:
I really don't think this team should have lost. However, I think the right two were picked for the bottom two - with only two posts apiece (at time of writing, 16:48 :p) it's pretty difficult to choose between you two.

Kazanne, you came online quite late into the task and told the others that you would have helped with the graphics but saw that someone else had covered that. Given my comments about the slightly poor standard of them, I'd have maybe liked to have seen you at least offer some designs to the group - although I understand this may have offended them, they could have just been suggestions, because right now I can't see much evidence of your effort in this task. I wasn't really sure about your suggestion of a swimming animal either for a tennis team, unless you were just putting out a general sports team idea - in which case I was impressed with your idea to incorporate it with a water safety message.

Lucas, in your two posts one of them was the idea of a soft toy for children, but you admitted in this post that this was an "easy" market to use. The other post contained an "oops xo" with regard to your poor effort. Therefore I wasn't too dazzled with your input in this task. For this reason alone, you're fired.

---------------------
Prospect:
Flamingjoe - 9 posts isn't really enough for a task, but at least it wasn't three. When I went through the thread all I could surmise of your posts is that you were commenting on other teammates' efforts - without contributing any of your own. I really want to see you contribute something of your own next time, now that you've survived.

Raph - I find this decision difficult because your team gave warnings as to when you wouldn't be available, whereas the other team had members that were completely AWOL and it wasn't fair on them. You made a telling error when you posted later on in this task: you said "you guys did really well". Even this alone suggested to me that you weren't really a part of the team effort here, and for that reason, you're fired.

It's also good for me in a way because I promised to myself after my inevitable firing during this game that I'd take a short break from TIBB anyway (this isn't attention seeking, I don't know when I will be back, for all I know I'll probably end up posting again by the weekend, but yeah).

Good luck to the rest of Prospect, I hope one of you takes the crown this series (if Jamie's work is to go by from this task and he continues to work like this I hope you take it)

For our sports team we decided to choose a team called Cowes Sports FC, they are located in the Isle of Wight and play their football in the Isle of Wight Football Association, which is a division of the Hampshire Football Association. Their football strip consists of blue and white stripes, which explains why the mascot is wearing the shirt he is. Our mascot himself is a very dashing young guy that goes by the name of Calvin Cow. The member we chose to help us out for this task was Josy, who helped us out with the graphics side of things as none of us knew much about that.

Calvin:

http://i45.tinypic.com/idujie.png

Merchandise:

The first piece of merchandise we decided to go for was a Football, for obvious reasons. As you can see good old Calvin is on there along with the clubs badge.

http://i45.tinypic.com/28u4uc9.png

The second piece was for a Top Trumps Cards set. Most of the top football teams have them and they are really popular. A great centre back that I have seen in action many of times for Cowes Sports is featured on this particular card.

http://i47.tinypic.com/2ng7z3q.png

Our third piece of merchandise is a Flask. We all know that alcohol is overpriced at football stadiums, plus you can only buy it before the match kicks off and at half time, well now the millions of Cowes supporters around the Isle of Wight don't need to worry about such a thing as they can fill up their flask before they leave the house and sneak it in unnoticed. As the Turtle himself once said:

"It's a cold, rainy day. The sky is grey, there's a nip in the air. You've gone to watch your favourite team, the Cowes, play. You have taken your three children with you, all are a little bit hyperactive from the coca cola you bought them (despite mum saying no fizzy drinks, but she's not there). So you buy them a toy, football, and keyring each to keep them quiet and use the hip flask (full of whiskey) to ease the pain of the annoying kids, Cowes losing at half time and to warm your chilled body up. "

We also wanted something a bit different.

http://i48.tinypic.com/317a2h0.png

And last, but not least, we have a keyring. The Keyring itself is a map of the Isle of Wight, where Cowes Sports are based, and you will also see Calvin having a good time there in the centre of the County.

Hey there guys! :)

Honestly all's good here. I've had the greatest week ever (as MTVN knows :p) so I really was preoccupied when it comes to the game. I think Kate, Mollie, Shaun; lemonJam and all of you have done an amazing job planning this game, and it would've been completely unfair for me to stay in, considering my lack of participation.

I think both Team Prospect and Team Pioneer have outstanding candidates, who definitely deserve to do well in this game, far more than I did, so thank you for your Decision Shaun, I respect and take it in 100%.

It's been super fun playing this game, and the creativity in all of you, and dedication is extraordinary. I'll stick around to see how the game pans out but yeah great stuff everyone, and I 100% deserved to be fired.

You're all awesome. Peace. :)

Team Prospect Pitch

Introduction
After a team brain storm, we decided on the sport of Tennis, after our medal success with Andy
Murray and his duo in the Olympics, and his continual success in the Tennis Opens.

As Sport is popular throughout all age groups - for our products, we decided to cater for as many age markets as possible by including products for
younger children, teenagers and adults. However, as we felt that the elderly would not buy into our
products as well as the other age brackets, we decided to make two merchandise for children. We did this for two main reasons: One, we believe
that the children market would be a mass seller, particularly with the merchandise that
we have chosen - and two, it will introduce the sport of tennis and The Davis Cup
Team too a new generation, who will in turn hopefully pass it onto their children, keeping the interest in the team alive.

Our Mascot:

As a team, we came up with the mascot of a fox because the British public widely associate them as 'sneaky'. We have done
this to play on the fact that in Tennis players often score points or win their matches with
unexpected, 'sneaky' shots that catch their opponent off guard. We feel that, although it is
a prominent animal throughout the Northern Hemisphere, British people are very familiar with foxes,
and it would make a suitable mascot to use for our national team, The Great Britain Davis Cup
Team.

2170

Soft Toys

To further develop our chosen mascot’s appeal, we have selected a wide range of products, to appeal to certain target markets, and promote the sport we are representing.
One of these products are Soft toys. These are possibly the most popular, gift available for young children, and are made in a variety of sizes and designs. We believe that by making a soft toy range of our fox, we can appeal to children, and most importantly the parents, who by purchasing our toy, will be able to see what it symbolises. The soft toy will also be able to establish a range of products, and will be used as a starting point

Jigsaw:

As we felt that the children's market would be a big seller, we also included jigsaws
into our merchandise. The jigsaws would be made with the basic mascot which Jamie
has drawn and would be suitable for years 4-8 in terms of difficulty. We believe that
using child merchandise will get more children involved with the national team, and
also simply the sport of tennis, which would in itself help the team in coming years.

Clothing:

And for all those tennis fans out there we have the Andy Furry clothing line. We are thinking big picture here. We want the Andy Furry name to be up there with Nike and Adidas in the world of Tennis. But at the same time we want to be a brand for the people of the world. We want people to be wearing the Andy Furry brand from the moment they come out of the womb to their ninetieth birthday. The Andy Furry line isn’t just a brand, it’s a way of life.

For the small babies we have daywear and nightwear, as well as bibs featuring the great Andy Furry, our brand mascot. Each comes in various colors and sizes.

For the children we have things like t-shirts, shorts, and even swimwear. We will have a male and female line, and all will feature Andy Furry, our villainous fox.

For the teenagers we will have a more adult and mature line to help usher them into adulthood. We are thinking things like snapback hats, t-shirts, and hoodies for this part of the line. The teenage market is a hard one to get into, but we have faith in our brand and think that it can become very big with the young adults. Again there will be a male and female line with various sizes and colors.

For the adults, we will have things have workout wear for the tennis players and other athletes. Also we have casual wear for around the house or in the pub. And we even have night wear for those spring evening when the kids are asleep.
Here is an example of what one of our Davis Cup T shirts would look like, as we haven't been able to get a picture of one with our mascot, Andy Furry, in the time we have had:

http://i50.tinypic.com/mkhl6c.png

App:
We have designed two potential apps for the mascot, both of which have 'screen shots' below. The first is a game in which the player competes as Andy Furry against a computer fox, to see who can hit the most balls. The second is quite self-explanatory, and is based around the popular 'Whac-A-Mole' game.

Peace. :)

TiBB Does The Apprentice - Task 3 Results. Now.

Firstly, let's see what Lord ShuGrr thought of your efforts, and which team has won task 3!

"Before I begin critiquing both side's performances I have to say I was both impressed and a little amused with both team's focusing on the idea of these plans and trips having to meet certain criteria that weren't asked for, for example: availability (I saw one team scrap a whole idea because the tickets were out of stock, and in all honesty I doubt any of us would have noticed ), the proximity and likelihood of us being able to travel to and from events within time, and the ideas of themes. A lot of thought was put into this and both sind like pretty good weekends, but there were a couple of ideas that just grossed me out tbh :idc:

Pioneer
I had to step in briefly and remind your team that the idea of me wearing a suit from George at ASDA may have resulted in instant failure, so I was pleased to see you up your game afterwards. A lot of the designs and little customisations you came up with were really to my taste - for example, the suits and the idea of a hangover recovery pack made me giggle like a slut.

However, there was one thing that was quite difficult to understand and that was your pitch. Although I appreciate MTVN's efforts, the pitch was a little confusing and could've been laid out more clearly, some spoilers containing the more surplus information and some headings and bolds for the dates, times and key information. As a result I was reading it thinking "is this for Friday? No it must be Sunday, OK idfk".

I'd also like to know whose idea it was to serve me and my client zebra and frog's legs... at some points we thought we were enduring a Bushtucker trial rather than a fine meal. That said, the zorbing, the idea of a flask of whiskey to cope with intolerable clients concealed in my jacket, and a hangover cure were fun ideas, but I have to take this seriously. I wanted to die when me and my client found out we'd arrived at Stringfellows, and he stormed out furiously.

Prospect
Again, Apple wrote out a pretty fantastic & convincing pitch. There was a stronger concentration on the idea of securing business contracts here, and there was the impression that this was taken a little more professionally by your team.

Your set menus were unfortunate on the account that I hate mushrooms (risotto) and the idea of 'cauliflower soup' made me want to fire my secretary, but the 2nd night seemed better. Whilst at the Sarastro restaurant, however, my client remarked that the whole building was very loud, decorated heavily with distracting arts and fabrics, and we were unable to secure a deal :idc: I was left doubly embarrassed by the fact that you'd only budgeted for one person's meal - I ended up having to pay out of pocket for my client.

In general - I preferred your hotel, I preferred your pitch and I enjoyed the idea of a 'Best of British' theme, but the Beatles thing was a little bit low-key and cheesy, and there were a few too many scheduling errors. I think you missed a trick with booking the Aston Martin for the Beatles day rather than the Bond one.

General
This is tough for me. I found Pioneer's ideas funny and in all seriousness there were a lot of little attention-to-detail inclusions that are swinging me to your team. But I think you completely underestimated the tone of the task and in all likelihood taking clients to eat strange meats and then lapdancing would really struggle to get you anywhere. Prospect again sold their plans better, and despite a few blunders in the budgeting, were able to dazzle some clients.

I think I'm going to have to take this down to: which night reminded me more of a vaudevillian drug trip, and which night was more executive? Therefore, for me, Prospect are this task's winners."

Team Prospect Pitch – Task 3

The Hotel:
We have taken a lot of time deciding what the best hotel would be for Sir Shu Grrr, We have taken into consideration all His needs, and our decision has been made for him to attend The Connaught Hotel - http://www.the-connaught.co.uk/home/ on Friday 23rd of November.

The Connaught
Carlos Place
Mayfair, London
W1K 2AL
+44 (0)20 7499 7070

He will be staying in a Luxury room called a ‘Superior King room’ for 2 nights. The room Sir Shu Grrr will be staying in is described as ‘A considered and generous space that is perfect for a city getaway in style. Choose either a modern contemporary style with TOTO toilets in their en-suite bathrooms or a classical style with luxurious curtains and traditional features. All rooms feature the latest in modern technology with the best in-room entertainment and flat screen TVs. Twin beds are also available on request’. We feel this Hotel has amazing standards and only the best will do for Sir Shu Grrr. He will also be provided with a luxurious Breakfast each morning And a Bottle of champagne on Saturday night to celebrate his Business success.

There is another very important part of this 5 star Hotel that sealed the deal for us, it has a large range on business facilities and events that set the tone for your business meeting in 5-star luxury at the Connaught. Here is what they say ‘With its central Mayfair location it is the ideal venue to create your perfect corporate event in the city, with a range of elegant spaces available for up to 200 guests’. This Hotel also provides these essential facilities when discussing business, like Networking receptions, meetings, conferences, stages, sound facilities, audio-visual technology, presentation equipment, telephones and complimentary Wi-Fi. We felt that all these facilities will help Sir Shu Grrr promote his business to his clients and is the best hotel for this.

Formal Wear:

We have done a lot of research to find the perfect suit/price combination. We found a website called Burberry, which is a company that produces suits and the accessories needed. We feel that wearing the right suit will give a very good impression to a potential investor. We have found the perfect combination for Sir Shu Grrr comprising trousers, jacket, shirt and tie. Dress shoes to accompany it.

Suit - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswear/tailoring/jackets/prod-38223771-modern-fit-virgin-wool-blazer/ = £550.00

Shoes - http://uk.burberry.com/store/mens-accessories/shoes/prod-38295451-patent-leather-ceremonial-shoes?searchQuery=38295451 = £385.00

Tie - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswear/ties/london/prod-38253511-striped-silk-tie/ = £125.00

Shirt - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswear/shirts/london-formal/prod-38336731-modern-fit-cotton-shirt/ = £195.00

Trousers - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswear/trousers/london/prod-38000491-modern-fit-virgin-wool-trousers/ = £175.00

Total = £1, 207.60

We find that This Suit is very formal, and will give a very good impression to a future investor. And will potentially increase Sir Shu Grrr’s chances of gaining a new client.

The shoes are sartorial ceremonial shoes in patent leather; they have Lace-up closure and a Cushioned leather insole. The jacket is a Lightweight modern fit virgin wool blazer, the modern fit blazer is closely fitted Interlined with natural horsehair canvas, the jacket shapes to the body and reinforces the sharp cut. The Tie has sartorial woven silk wool in a distinctive diagonal stripe, and is a Classic cut. The Shirt is a Modern fit shirt in crisp and is tailored for a straight fit Point collar and button cuffs. The Trousers are sartorial modern fit flat front trousers in soft virgin wool.

Another night comes another outfit, and we think that we have carried on the style and sophistacition with this match up of Ben Sherman and Burbery formal wear:

Suit - http://www.bensherman.com/tailoring/...ket-38715.html = £195.00

Tie - http://www.bensherman.com/plectrum-silk-tie-39816.html = £30.00

Shoes - http://uk.burberry.com/store/mens-ac...lace-up-shoes/ - £385.00

T-Shirt - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswea...gingham-shirt/ = £295.00

Trousers - http://uk.burberry.com/store/menswea...wool-trousers/ = £225.00

Fine Dining:
A good meal means everything to business men, and Lord ShuGrr can have confidence that we at Team Prospect have booked him two evenings of the highest calibre for him and his client to enjoy. On the Friday he will spend an evening in The Beach Blanket, London, where him and his partner will have a set menu to enjoy while discussing very serious business topics :pipe:

Best of British Themed Entertainment:
When organising Lord ShuGrr’s business weekend in London, Team Prospect decided that for the entertainment it would be a good idea to have a simple theme. This theme we decided was ‘Best of British’, and with this we booked Lord ShuGrr and his client tickets to the one and only showing of the James Bond 50th Anniversary Orchestral Gala on Friday 23rd November, and also to ‘Let It Be’, the Hit West End show celebrating the music of the highest selling musicians of all time, The Beatles. We feel that these two evenings will be a great opportunity for Lord ShuGrr to impress his client, and hopefully opening up opportunities for the deal.

Saturday Morning Business Golf:
As an extra side, on the Saturday a morning of golf has been booked for Lord ShuGrr and his partner. Team Prospect feel this will be a good opportunity for Lord ShuGrr to try and secure or finalise whatever contract he is after with his client. The golf course is just five miles from the heart of London, set in an idyllic location with great views across the calm landscape, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Central London.

24 Hour Luxury Car Rental:
Well, we know that Lord ShuGrr likes to be seen in style, so we have booked him a swanky Aston DB6 for 24 hours as a personal luxury for him to use on The Saturday, and which will be used to escort him to Dulwich Golf Club in the morning, and Let It Be and Sarasto Restaurant in the evening.

How much?
Team Prospect always keep a careful eye on the prize; and we knew that although we had to provide exceptional amenities for Lord ShuGrr, we had to keep a look out for bargains to keep ourselves within our budget. We feel we have done that well, as this is our total expenditure for the weekend:

The Hotel - £1, 207.60
Outfit for Night One - £1,430
Food and Drink for Night One - £336
Entertainment for Night One - £75.50
Aston Martin DB6 - £549.00
Outfit for Night Two – £1130
Food and Drink for Night Two -£126.45
Entertainment for Night Two - £80
Golf - £80
TOTAL - £5014.55
OUR BUDGET - £5200.00

Message from Team Prospect
We hope that Lord ShuGrr chooses Team Prospect's weekend as we feel that we have provided ample oppurtunities for securing contracts, superb amenities and also personal luxuries chosen with him in mind, and also managing to stay under budget, despite the quality and quantity of our Weekend.

Prospect: I did tell you originally that I found a couple of small errors in your pitch and whilst you were the successful team again, one of them might just come back to haunt you. From what I can tell, DrunkerThanMoses was responsible for the costing of the meal where only 1 head was paid for, so I thought I should just warn you to check all figures in future :D

Kazanne. For all three tasks you haven't posted too often but in this task I was pleased to see a more concerted effort from you. You contributed a fair number of links to the team and many creative ideas - some of which were the ones I enjoyed most (the Bond car hire). However, I am a little worried that this may have been too little too late, because you've been in this position already and didn't contribute a huge amount in task #2. I am going to save you this time purely for your improvements on the earlier tasks.

Novo, you put a huge effort into the first task and I'm not really sure what's happened since. I don't know if it's because that task didn't result in a firing, or something else, but you seem to have lost all motivation and posted only once in this most recent task. You didn't post a lot in the second one either. I found this decision difficult on account of your first effort, but I cannot fire kazanne for her efforts in this one, it wouldn't be fair. With regret, you're fired

http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/200/snapshot201211093.png

-------------------------

Pioneer: As the losing team for the second task in a row, I understand you may be frustrated at the moment. I can only say that you've got some really strong rivals and their effort has been pretty dazzling so far, but I believe you have the creativity and the ingenuity to perform better. Just take the game a little more seriously :nono: because I'd feel awful telling another team they've lost because they didn't make me laugh.

Flamingjoe, I did warn you last time that I wanted to see a little more from you, and for you to come up with something original and interesting all by yourself. Unfortunately, you posted three times. For that reason, you're fired.

http://imageshack.us/a/img818/9359/snapshot201211092.png

Salman!, you were rather lucky to be brought in against Joe, really, because I wasn't really blown away by your efforts either. You have a very strong team and I understand that performing against them and trying to stand out must be difficult, but don't let that stop you. Post a little more often and take an executive stance here or there, and you could be back in the game.

The Game
The basis of our game is survival of the fitness. The theme of the game is survival against zombies; we decided to pick this theme as the
TV show The Walking Dead seems to be very popular with viewers and a number of forum members on TIBB. Even if not a fan of Zombie’s, we have designed a game that we hope anyone will like and be eager to participate in.

To add an extra dynamic to our game we decided to let our players decide just what player they want to be; they will be given free reign on their name, their age and their gender and perhaps even their back-story as we feel this will give an extra dimension to the game, allowing the players to feel more involved and invested with the game and feel like the character they are playing. We also added in this extra as it is something that will set this game apart from other games, as we are unaware of any other games on TiBB that have included this, and it would potentially be something that would draw in applicants to our games, instead of other, more standard and traditional games, that do not have this unique aspect.

Settings of the Game
The plot follows the survivors in four main locations where players will be spending most their time during the game, the locations we have chosen are a Mansion, Farm House, Shopping Mall and a Underground Army Bunker; these locations are a homage to George A Romero’s Dead series, e.g. the Farm House (Night of the Living Dead), Shopping Mall (Dawn of the Dead), Underground Army Bunker (Day of the Dead) and the Mansion (Diary of the Dead).

The starting point will be the shopping mall, because that is how all the players meet, and will head off to new locations when the zombies have taken over that place. We have come up with an idea of a bus to transport them from location to location, which gives the players more chance of survival. At the end of the game the armed forces will come to save the survivors, however will it all go to plan?

Tasks
At each location the players will be given various tasks to perform individually. When the task is over the two players who have accomplished the lowest score, or has done the worse throughout the task will be nominated. The remaining players will then each vote for the player they want to eliminate. However, this is not the end for the player; they will have a chance to return.

How Players are eliminated
The eliminated player will go to a place we are calling the Cemetery; a sort of Redemption Island, and the eliminated player will stay there until the next eliminated player comes to the Cemetery. Both eliminated players in the Cemetery will battle against each other for the golden opportunity of returning to the game. The winner of the Cemetery battle will remain at the Cemetery, and this phase will continue until the final 10 and final 6; the two times an eliminated player could return, but that’s not it. Any Returning players will have a special power, which gives them the power to change the outcome of the nominations and eliminations.

This player will be given the power to see the results of the task and could add 50 points to someone’s grand total or subtract 50 points. For example if the task was to name as many songs with dead in the title, and the player in first had a total score had 150, while the player in last had 101, the returning player could subtract the 50 from the player in first place and move them to last.

Tasks in the game will vary, they include naming as many items as they can; these will include songs, films and listening to a handful of songs and naming as many songs as they can. Other tasks will be more intellectual like cracking codes in the fastest time or endurance where the survivors have to stay up to get more information from the host, who will post at any time; could be 4 in the morning, or half five in the afternoon.

Again at the Cemetery where two eliminated players will face off, tasks will vary, for example one Cemetery Task will be endurance where the eliminated players will have to post every five minutes and whoever can outlast the longest will remain in the game; we believe this task in particular will show how much the players want to stay in the game.

Final Six will be the last time a player can return to the game, and from then on who ever scores the lowest on the task will be automatically eliminated until we have a three final survivors; here the forum will vote for the winner.

Here is an example of how the game may plan out, Using letters as the Players:

Task One - 13 Players (A eliminated)
Task Two – 12 Players (B eliminated)
Cemetery Task 1 – A vs B = B Wins
Task Three – 11 Players (C eliminated)
Cemetery Task 2 – B vs C = B Wins
Task Four – 10 Players (D eliminated)
Cemetery Task 3 – B vs D = B Wins
Task Five – 9 Players (E eliminated)
Cemetery Task 4 – B vs E = B wins
B RETURNS TO THE GAME
Task Six – 9 Players (F eliminated)
Task Seven – 8 Players (G eliminated)
Cemetery Task 5 – F vs G= F Wins
Task Eight – 7 Players (H eliminated)
Cemetery Task 6 – F vs H = H wins
Task Nine – 6 Players (I eliminated)
Cemetery Task 7 – H vs I = I wins
I RETURNS TO GAME
Task Ten – Six Players
Task 11 – Five Players
Task 12 – Four Players
Final 3 – Forum votes for the winner

Reasoning behind the game
This makes it interesting as it makes the players fight to stay in the game, and as the tasks will vary, players who might be strong in one type of task and finish near the top could be rubbish at another task and find themselves in the bottom two and nominated in the next task. We believe this makes it more unpredictable.

The decision to make the players vote one another out came about because we believe that if it was the forums’ decision, players might beg forum members to keep them in, or we might have a player who is very popular against a player who might be not known on the forum that much. We believe this is a fair way of the voting system of our game. The decision to have the winner chosen by the public came about because we believe the forum should have some say in the outcome of the game. Another reason we decided to have players vote one another out was because it gives the chance for the players to vote out who they might think is their biggest competition in the game. Also we believe that with this special power we give to returning players will make players who are strong to purposely fail a task so they are eliminated to return to get the super power to change the outcome of nominations to eliminate who they think is a strong player.

We believe when it comes to forum games, players like a few twists thrown in keep them on their toes, we also want twists so the game does not become predictable or boring. Our main twist of the game is returning players; players who had been eliminated giving another chance to play. We decided to come up with this because the game might have a player that the other players dislike and they could return for revenge on the others. It also gives the chance of a player who might have had a bad day on a task and was eliminated to return because they are a strong player.

Our Homepage
This is what our home page will look like which includes the story and our logo for the game:

http://i49.tinypic.com/27y0dut.png

On the 21st of December, 2012, a report of Cannibalism in South Wales had hit the headlines all around the World.
There were pictures too... Pictures of skeletons, their flesh ripped off completely and their bones mangled...
Pictures of bloody body parts, strewn along the streets. That's what caused the panic, the panic that lasted weeks on end, with reports of new towns,
new stories, new deaths every night and every day.

It was quite clear that this was no normal phenomena, it was obvious to everyone now that this was an attack of the paranormal.
The army were pulled out to protect the major cities, London was first to be protected, then Manchester, then Liverpool and Birmingham.

They became safe havens, and floods of people constantly went through their barriers, too the effect that London was quickly hit by the virus.
News broadcasts suddenly stopped, however Manchester was now used for important broadcasts.
It was quarantined, Birmingham and Liverpool abandoned. No evacuees were allowed.

It is unknown if the virus affected other countries, however it is widely rumoured not,
and that the UK was widely sacrificed for the interests of, well, everyone else.

Attempts at resistance were largely broken down, and any Havens outside of Manchester never lasted longer than a week,
however a bunch of 13 survivors banded together and formed perhaps the most successful attempt of surviving, in the whole of the epidemic...

The Rules

13 Players!
Create your own character!
Every few days a task will be posted!
The two who do the worst in the task will be nominated!
The other players will then vote one of the two out!
The evicted player will then be dead.... but not out of the game!
The Eliminated Player will have a chance to return to the game!
In the End the winner will be chosen by the forum in the final 3!

The Application Form, Signature and Award

To apply to the game we came up with these questions for the application form: -

Forum Name -
What is Your Characters name? -
What is your Characters Age? -
What are your Survival tactics? -
Why would you make a good zombie killer? -
Describe Zombies in 3 words! -

On top of that to promote the game we decided the host would have a promotional signature which will look like this: -

http://i48.tinypic.com/15hap4.jpg

One other idea we came up with was survival cards that keeps track of each survivors progress through the game, for example : -

http://i47.tinypic.com/jhrcax.jpg

The Winner of the game will of course receive a award for winning (a Walking Zombie) = http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2181&stc=1&d=1352671277

We hope you enjoy our game idea, and thank you for taking the time to read through our pitch about the game.

FINAL PRODUCT:

http://i49.tinypic.com/dvhqoh.png

TiBB's Amazing Race is a forum game (based on the reality show) in which ten teams of two people, compete against each other in a race 'around the world'. Teams strive to arrive first at the end of each round of a race by completing tasks to avoid coming in the bottom two. Being in the bottom two carries the possibility of elimination or a significant disadvantage in the following leg, as the safe teams have to decide who to send home.

The tasks will be related directly or loosely to the country or continent of location or its culture. Teams are progressively eliminated until three are left; at that point, the team that arrives first in the final leg is awarded the crown.

Below are the tasks that we have planned for the game, each will take place within one main thread so as the whole race, from the very start to the bitter end, is all nice and neatly in one place. Teams that finish first in a round will have an advantage in the following round by getting a half an hour head start with the task. Those that finish in the bottom two will then be put against the remaining teams who will cast one vote to eliminate between each team (both team members must agree on their choice).

If at any point more than two teams fail to complete a race the two teams who were furthest behind will be the teams who face the bottom two. And if votes between bottom two are tied the slower of the teams will be sent home.

Round 1: Eritrea - Eritreating me right?

40 questions about Eritrea will be posted, the teams must find all correct answers and return them to us. If any answers are incorrect/missing the team will be told and they must try again. The last two teams to get the correct answers will face the first elimination.

Round 2: Japan - This is so Japaneasy!

Photos of 50 Japanese characters will be posted. The teams must name 35 of them in the quickest time possible to avoid being in the bottom two. The first team to reach 20 will be able to put a 'U-turn' onto one team which will see the chosen team lose five of their answers which they cannot use at all and have to in turn get another five answers.

Round 3: Fiji - Island Hopping

Being an island nation like Fiji is great as they were some of the last places to be discovered. So for this round you will be discovering the islands yourselves. Flags of all island nations will be hidden some where across the forum on members wall as a wall message. The aim is to find 10 of these flags and to avoid being the last two to do so.

Round 4: Antarctica - My balls are a tad chilly

The teams will have a snowball each and must throw it to each other over the course of 24 hours. The teams need to achieve catching the snowball 100 times between them, however they must be holding the snowball for at least 5 minutes before throwing it and they must not hold it for longer than 15 minutes or the snowball will melt and they must start again from 0.
To throw the snowball to their team mate they must post a photo of their snowball.

Round 5: Chile - Sacar la mugre

1. Cazuela de Vacuno
2. Pastel de Choclo
3. Palta Reina
4. Cola de Mono
5. Chancho en Piedra
6. Empanadas Fritas de Queso
7. Cazuela de Vaca
8. Pisco Sour II
9. Pebre
10. Arrollado de Chancho

The teams have to search for the ingredients for these meals (we will provide the exact recipe), with the team spending the least money in the quickest time winning. The team which finds the ingredients the quickest will have £8.50 deducted from the figure they spent, thus putting them at an advantage. Ingredients bought for one recipe cannot be used a subsidiary for another, ingredients can only be bought from somewhere once and all links to where they found these ingredients and the cost.

During this round the first team to find all ingredients for Cola de Mono will be given a detour card. They may choose at the time to detour one team by giving them ten new meals to find ingredients for (meaning that team will have to start all over again).

Round 6: Mexico - Tequila Mockingbird

The players are to make a lethal tequila cocktail (tequila mockingbird), but to do so need to know how many bottles of each tequila to place in the pot. They will be presented with six soduku puzzles which they must complete for each type of tequila. Each puzzle will have one square highlighted yellow, the correct number that goes there will be the answer for the amount of that tequila.

Round 7: Denmark - Catching The Bacon

Over the course of the next 24 hours teams will be required to catch the bacon. Each hour 10 pigs will be released into the 'wild' at ten points in time of that hour.

To catch their bacon the teams will post 'catching me some bacon' at the time they think a pig will be released (so if Team A thinks a pig will be released at 7.05am, they must post 'Catching me some bacon' when the time is 7.05am). If two teams go for the same time, the team who posted first will earn the pig.

The times that the pig will be released will be pre-determined, and the pigs will not be released in sight, so the players are having to pick their times carefully.

The aim is to get 30 pigs. The slowest two teams to achieve this will face the bottom two.

Round 8: Italy+Greece - Acta est fabula

The remaining three teams will compete in two legs of the final race. The first leg will see the teams given a document in Latin which they must translate to find five clues about five Italian works of art. They must then locate where these works of art are in Italy. The last team to do so will be automatically eliminated from the race. The final two teams will then be given a manuscript in Greek which they must translate and work out the 6 ancient gods that are described from the clues. The first team to get all six correct answers is the overall winners of the game!

Candidates....

MTVN has asked the following..

"I'd like to suggest that before the firing takes place the two nominated candidates are given a chance to present a defence to the judges."

Official Response

Hmmmm...if you want to do this I am not averse to it, but it will have to be under the following conditions...

A candidate who suspects they may face the Boardroom can post a plea in the main thread, preferably before I close the poll at 5pm. Pushed for time as it is, so can't really factor it in afterwards, as I want to get the new task up today.

Task 4 Summations:

Team Pioneer - Kate Brady

I'll keep this short and sweet, as Lord ShuGrr has provided a detailed critique for this task, just my own off the cuff impressions.

It appears that ukturtle did the lions' share of the work on this task, however I am aware that team members were all allocated individual jobs to do, it's just that evidence to show exactly who did what is thin on the ground?

Salman showed great enthusiasm by putting forward ideas straightaway, and I noted both Vanessa and Locke make some contribution and acknowledge their allocated tasks, so assume they helped in this way?

Lee made mention of working on tasks also, so again I assume that means she made her contribution?

MTVN posted once only to my knowledge (edit : apparently it is three times :amazed:)

Team Prospect - Mollie Mountford

The team decided to, at the beginning of the task, not start work on it until 12pm the following day, something I was worried would put them at a disadvantage to begin with.

However throughout the weekend, they all put a substantial amount of effort into it. The team collectively came up with an idea for a zombie survival style game called "The Living Dead".

I was exceptionally impressed with the effort DrunkerThanMoses and Munchkins put into the whole plot of the game. As well as this they and Roy Mars III all worked together on ideas for the game concept, logo and pitching. Apple202 and Jamie585 helped along the way with their additional suggestions, as well as an award icon courtesy of Jamie585

I didn't see any input from Kazanne in this task however, which was a slight disappointment, but the team still worked impressively using all the resources they had.

Lord ShuGrr - Summation

Prospect:
I like the whole zombie theme and it's obviously all quite creative and interesting and everything, but I was keeping updated by reading your thread every now and again and just facepalming at the similarities to my own game :/ In the end you shifted away from this... but then came up with, I apologise, but a very confusing and muddled format. I honestly can't make a head or tail of your "how players are eliminated" section... there's something about points and battles and redemption?

It just all felt like a bit of a tribute to some of DrunkerThanMoses' favourite movies. I'm also a bit embarrassed and saddened by some of your attempts to rubbish the other team's efforts... it was pretty cheap of you.

One thing I will say in your defence is that I liked that you went to the effort of designing a forum award, application form and signature - even if the font on the signature is one of the most garish and disgusting fonts that exist.

Pioneer:
Clearly, a lot of effort has been put into coming up with tasks and at the end of the day these are the crucial factor in a forum game. The graphics were also quite nice, and I like the idea of a TIBB game where members partner up for a change.

I went into this task pretty much believing Ben would be able to pull off this task single-handedly given his history, and I've got to say he met expectations and surpassed them, pretty much doing the entire task by himself... I'm really disappointed by the efforts of some of the other team members, and am tempted to fail them for this, but at the end of the day I just have to pick which game I think I would be more interested in, and that's this one.

Roy, Salman, Ukturtle and Locke. Please nominate asap. I'll have to go with the majority by around 6.30pm. You will still be required to vote after this, for the statistics, but it won't count towards Boardroom. Sorry, but I have to get the next task up tonight.
