For our task in TiBB does the Apprentice we had to come up with a band of soap characters doing a concert for charity. We chose Stonewell as our charity because the theme is combatting homophobia, which is why we have chosen the following LGBT soap characters

Candidates, you are now merged into one team, and must work together in the main discussion thread on the remaining tasks.

Task 7

As a team, you must assemble a supergroup to perform at a one-off fun charity concert, this group must have 6 members, and they must all be current and well known characters from the following soaps:

Eastenders, Corrie, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks.

You may choose all 6 from one soap, or mix and match. You must have at least one male character and at least one female character in the mix, other than that you have free reign to choose who you like. I would suggest you choose the more popular/well-loved characters, however it's entirely up to you.

Once your group is assembled, you must come up with a name for them and produce a billboard/poster advertisement, to promote the concert, with as much detail as possible AND a programme which lists the ten songs to be performed on the night.

Date and time of the concert, venue, which charity it's for etc are all up to you?

The task will end at 10pm tomorrow night (Sunday) and you will then have until midnight to each pm me your nomination for The Boardroom (just one please)

Why should I stay? Despite starting late in this task, I still managed to bring input and products to the end result. I've been very consistent in every task, even when I am busy I try and get as much of the task done straight away. Since task 1, the music task, I have tried hard to keep my team winning, even when in direct competition with my team mates I have helped them out to ensure a win. I'm always postive and trying to encourage good morale and effort, have been supportive and praising of both teams efforts. My team hasn't always been easy, some were carried throughout but I didn't begrudge them for that, instead I have focused on bringing organisation, determination, spirit and creativity to the table.

I'd like to think my strong effort and great ideas (such as the game task which I pretty much did single handedly) is enough to keep me from being fired, but if not I know I can leave with my head held high.

This task might not of been my strongest performance due to having to go the work and catching up with a friend, but I did work at the start of the task, and was the one who suggested gay soap characters. I shouldn't be fired as I was with this task from it's start to finish. I helped at the start with the establishing of the task, including choosing the charity that the team decided to use. I then designed a Promotional Poster, and helped to suggest songs to use for the team. I was there at the end and helped Ben who'd been busy with finding out what the task was, and finally I also aided in completing the task by rounding up the promos and the programme. I think I took the feedback from the last boardroom, and improved significantly from the last task, seeing this task from start to finish.

Overall views:
I was really cringing at some of this because of the nature of the task - I hate soaps and the idea of a charity gig with them in scared me :laugh:

A couple of the songs you chose I felt had little to do with the charity you had in mind and were maybe just popular or personal choices from you guys, but I think more concentration could have been put in. The programme design by ukturtle was lovely, but I was more impressed with Jamie's, and was quite confused as to why his wasn't used - I saw something about the running order being different, but I didn't see this as important.

That said, Vanessa and DrunkerThanMoses you again demonstrated a commanding and insightful role in the team's efforts. I'm a little upset that you received the most votes, Vanessa, so I'll stop waffling and tell you two to go back to the house, you'll live to fight another day ;)

I also think you had quite a general effort in this task and didn't get stuck in with one particular job. However, in the past you've been excellent and I'm willing to give you another chance.

Salman!, this isn't the first time you've been here, not by a long shot. I think my team were growing impatient with you, because you kept vowing to up your game, but this task... I would like the team to put together a dedicated Christmas Advent Calendar thread. It should contain an OP featuring the cover of the "calendar" and 25 posts, one for each day from the 1st to the 25th of December. The 25th should be a Christmas Message nicely designed, to all TiBB members.

Format:

All work should be done in here. When you have finished, please make the thread and include all 25 posts in the correct order. Countdown to Christmas.

I would like the team to put together a dedicated Christmas Advent Calendar thread. It should contain an OP featuring the cover of the "calendar" and 25 posts, one for each day from the 1st to the 25th of December. The 25th should be a Christmas Message nicely designed, to all TiBB members.

Format:

All work should be done in here. When you have finished, please make the thread and include all 25 posts in the correct order. It doesn't matter if other TiBB members post in the thread as long as you meet this criteria, and in addition all team members must personally add at least one of the posts to the thread.

Each post must contain the following....

A picture of something associated with Christmas - no duplicates.
A YouTube Video of a Christmas song - no duplicates.
A written humorous 'tribute' to a Tibb Member.

Have fun on this task, enjoy it as its your last one before the final. Four of you will make it. One will not.

All candidates will be judged both on their efforts for this task and their previous performances. Lord ShuGrr and the panel will award Nomination Immunity to whoever we deem has put in the best effort. The rest of you will be eligible for Nomination to face The Boardroom.

Deadline: 10pm tomorrow night.
